Why can't I share my video?

I'm trying to use imovie to make a video for my Mr. SHS pageant but my computer keeps saying error code=3 or something n it won't download into itunes.
the videos is more than two hours so i'm thinking it has to do with the length does it?

Error 3 = ID=03 Illegal Instruction
The computer has a specific vocabulary of machine language instructions it can understand. If a computer tries to execute an instruction that isn't in its vocabulary, you see this error code. It's less likely than error 02, but still very common.

Both very strange problems. How was Your program installed (as from factory, from iLife DVD or migrated over from other Mac)

• Turn off Mac and dis-connect all (mains too). Then let it be for 30 minutes - Turn it on again and test
• Repair Permissions
• Trash iMovie pref file (while it's NOT running
Still problems
• Can be what
- Video codec Your original material have
- Audio used in strange file format - I only use .aiff - no .mp3, .wma etc
- Photos in what file format - I use .jpg only

The Video app generally contains videos that were purchased or rented from the iTunes Store. They are copy protected and can't be shared.

You cannot normally directly access the file system on an iPad (or any other iDevice) from the PC or Mac like to view a video or listen to music. You'll have to connect the iPad to the PC using iTunes and sync the video to the PC to view it on the PC.

Hi. My camera is a Canon 600D. And yes my videos are stored in the Aperture library and they are not referenced. Even then I tried to select all the videos in Aperture and clicked 'consolidate masters' and there was a messge that said all 'none of the files are referenced',... so they didn't need consolidating.
I also tried preferences> export> external video editor > choose > iMovie. And then right click on the video to edit with imovie. Even then the video didn't show up in iMovie. It seems like the only option for me is to import the videos directly to iMovie which means there will be two versions of the same file stored in my computer eating up space.

1. What version of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements do you have and on what computer operating system are they running? For now I will assume versions 12 on Windows 7 or 8 64 bit. But those are important details to start with.
2. You say that your video is from a Panasonic Lumix camera...which model and what are your camera settings?
We should be about to know what your source media are from that although a properties readout from programs such as MediaInfo or gspot would be useful.

Why can't I open facebook videos on my ipad and iphone any more? I used to be able to open most but now I can't open any. Now it just comes up with a message 'unable to play video.Check your internet connection and try again' There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I am on wifi and full signal strength. This is happening on both ipad and iphone. It's not the problem where sometimes a video wants Adobe to open it. This message comes up as soon as you try to click on the video play button in the video. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this please?

Thanks for this Griff but it's not the app that isn't responding. I am in the facebook app (on both iPhone and iPad) and the app is working fine but if people post a video I can't look at the video on the iPhone or iPad. i always used to be able to but now it keeps coming up with the message I mentioned above. So I can no longer watch videos from facebook on either my iPad or iPhone. Here is a screen shot of my phone of what is happening. As you can see I have full wifi so there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. This is really annoying as I used to be able to watch videos on both phone and ipad out of facebook. now I can't. Hope you can help. regards and thanks Vicki

Why can't Aperture supply referenced Videos to iMovie?`

I recently figured out that I have some videos inside my Aperture library, the rest is referenced in a separate location.

Because that is the way the program was written.
Seriously there is no way to answer that question. The designers of Aperture made this choice, whether it is because of some limitation in the underlying software or for other reasons no one can say.

The iPad does not have Flash. Adobe does not make Flash for the iOS.So you either need a specific app, such as the YouTube app to view Flash video on the YouTube site, or you can get one of the very experimental Flash browsers for the iPad from the iTunes App Store.
