Why can't i sign in to iMessages or FaceTime on my iMac

hi there i have been having this problem since i upgraded my imac 2008 core 2 duo to osx mavericks which was 31 oct 2013 everything else works fine however imessages and facetime just wint sign in i put my apple username and password in imessages and it just says loading and then does nothing however with facetime i put my apple id and it loads and says "could not sign in please check your network connection" it is really fustrating and i am only 13 years old i dont know what to do

Go into the settings and turn off Messages and FaceTime and reset your iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Try this and see what happens. Quit the App Store, Sign out of your account completely, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.

Why can't I sign into my iMessage on my iPhone 4?

I've been logged into my iMessage for as long as I've had my phone. Now all the sudden it sends all my messages as text messages. I went into my settings and tried to log into my my iMessage again but it keeps giving me an error message that it can't connect to the network. Any ideas what I need to do to fix it? Thanks

I've tried so many times to log in to my I message account on my iPod and it just won't work. Befits it was perfectly fine and it logged me out but since that I wasn't able to sign back in. I'm both of my FaceTime and I message account.

You stated earlier that you had already deleted the "madrid" .plist with no effect.
Can I check you did this with the app closed down or at least restarted the app straight afterwards ?
If you did that close the app if open and access the ~/Library/Preferences folder again.
This time delete com.apple.imessage.bag.plist
This item stores the Apple server used for your Login to the iMessages server and contains a date/time reference.
Restarting the app after deleting this file will make it reconnect with the iMessages servers in a fresh manner which my solve things.
It may sort out any date/time issues with the stored date.
Messages is one of the app that Apple have "Sandboxed".
This means that some of it's operations are held away from other apps to prevent one app bringing down several others.
This is turn means that the route or path used by the app to Read and Write to the various .plists is different to the direct placing in ~/Library/Preferences.
The Path is ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iChat/Data/Library/Preferences
Mostly the items in here are then Aliases that point to the actual originals in ~/Library/Preferences. However there are exceptions.
You can copy and paste the Path above in to the Finder > Go Menu > Go to Folder dialogue box to access this folder.
Once there use the Finder's View Menu > Show Path Bar.
This adds a collection of folders across the bottom of the Finder window.
Right click on the Preferences folder at the right hand list of the Path.
Chose the Get Info option.
In the Info panel scroll to the Bottom.
Your Shortname should appear (with (Me) as well) and you should have Read and Write Permissions
If you highlight this and then use the Cogwheel type iCon it should reveal you shortname again but in Greyed out form which mean you Own the File/folder
Repeat this for each containing folder until the Library item on the left (you don't need to do the Little House icon one)
You should have Read an Write Permissions and Own all of them.

Maximum number of three icloud accounts had been created on that particular device. There is no limit to Apple id creation - that is why no problem with imessage or facetime.

2. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

incase this helps I tells me enter password for the itunes account which I do then it comes up cannot connect to itunes store.
