Why can't I sync my AppleTV with my iTunes?

I can't connect my 1st gen AppleTv with my iTunes. In the software they devices menu is all greyed out. Why is that?

What has already been tried if anything to resolve the issue?
No reason to suggest steps that have already been tried.

Becasue that is the way the ****** iphone is designed.
You can only sync with one ******computer.
There is nothing to ****** fix.

Why can't I sync my iPad to two iTunes libraries?

My problem is, I have a net connection in my desktop so i usually download stuff from the App store here. Since it is a family PC it doesn't have MY STUFF in here (like songs, pictures and pdf books). I would like to sync my ipad with THE ITUNES ON MY LAPTOP...without deleting the apps i have already synced using my desktop.
How do i do it? I really want to add songs and photos from my laptop, but i haven't connected it to the iPad yet from the fear of losing my apps!

You could manually manage the iPad. See Using iPad, or iPod with multiple computers.
If desired any iDevice can be manually managed or auto-synced from the same library connected to any one of multiple authorized computers provided you have the library on a portable device, or arrange to sync the different copies of the library with each other in some fashion. I use SyncToy for the task, keeping my iTunes library at home and work in sync with each other by syncing the entire library to a portable drive that I take with me.

Why can't I sync my phone with my computer after both the ios7 and Itunes 11.1 updates?

I just recently purchased the new iPhone 5s and have been very happy with it. At the same time I updated my itunes to the newest version 11.1.0.126.
Since the initial syncing, I have been unable to complete the syncing process. It progresses all the way through stalls out on step 5 "Downloading Safe Safari Browising Data". Is there anything i can do to fix this issue?

No matter how much people try to spout out about the superiority of Apple products, my iPhone should be able to grab music from my laptop and my PC at home, both being authorized already. I've already tried home sharing. I didn't buy the iPhone outright, it was provided to me through work. For all the Apple and Mac only fans, I feel this is Apple's way of trying to make me purchase music I have already bought on CD through iTunes. Whatever happened to ease of use? Customer friendly applications? Anyone else dislike how hard it is to add artwork to an album in iTunes after you load a CD and it doesn't recognize it? Track by track? How about offering one simple, convenient copy and paste to album like in Windows? Oh, yeah, so you give up and buy it again in iTunes. I do like the interface on the iPhone or iPod once things are working properly, however the hoops you jump through are ridiculous. I want to load music off of my laptop, after having most of my library on another PC, and it won't work without deleting the library off of the phone. What is the point of authorizing up to 5 computers if you can't use your music from those different machines? There, I'm getting off of my soap box now.

Change one of the options to sync, like check to see if you are Manually managing your music and videos. If you are you can drag and drop the music you want to your iPad mini. If you are not, then check the things that you want synced in the music tab when looking at your iPad mini in iTunes. Either way, change it and sync, then revert the changes and you should be able to get your music on there.

Why can't I sync my phone with more than one computer to get my music from both computers onto my I phone?

So I sync my phone on one of my computers and I get the music I want from that computer....then I plug my phone into another computer and I try to get more of my music files from that computer. The problem is: I tunes wants to delete all the previous files that I synced up with my other computer. SOOOO I can not get separate music files off different computers. Why not? These are all my music files....Will I have to find a way to consolidate all of my music onto one computer? Or is there some way I can get all of my files onto my I-phone?

Why can't I sync my ipod with iTunes 7.0.2?

I'm using itunes 7.0.2 and am having problems syncing my ipod. I have recently formatted my computer and reinstalled everything, including itunes. My whole library was lost. When I reinstalled itunes the library was empty and so it erased all the songs off my ipod when i connected and synced it. I later filled the library in the newly installed itunes and now when i want to sync the ipod it says "Songs on the ipod "XY" cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for syncing no longer exist". I also can't update manually,so i'm basically left with a useless ipod.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your effort but when i create a new smart playlist and choose it as the playlist to sync to, i get the message "You changed your ipod settings. Would you like to apply them?" When i click APPLY, i get a new message, saying "The ipod "XY" cannot be updated. An unknown error occured (-50)." Also, my nano goes to charge mode (no "don not disconnect" sign) as soon as i get the old message "The ipod cannot be updated because the playlist no longer exist"...

Why can't I sync a playlist with only podcasts in it (to my IPHON4)?

Made a playlist with specific podcasts in it. (my weekly show series I like to listen to)
But, it will not sync the podcast shows. It seems like I can only sync the 10 or 5 or xx latest shows. Seems kind of dumb that I can't create a list to be able to listen to several podcasts in a user defined order....

Why can't I sync my contacts with my facebook account

When I talk to someone on the phone I can barely hear their voice. When I put them on speaker I can hear them fine. I was just wondering how to get their voice louder. This is my first iphone so if you could be patient with me. My contacts won't also sync up with my facebook friends that are also my contacts. I hit the upgrade contacts in my settings and it still doesn't work

Now that I also have a laptop, which is my main source for all things computerised, I am unable to do anything other than software updates and add music.

Iphone will sync/manage itunes content with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync/manage with another it will erase the current content.

Why can't I sync my musics from my itunes library?

I just downloaded the newest version of itunes to update my ipod to the version 5.0.1 and I have a whole playlist in my itunes.
when i looked in the music icon of my ipod, there was only one song in the playlist. I clicked on sync many times and there is no result.

Makes sense. Hadn't thought to add artwork to the actual individual files before uploading. For my own present sanity, I just added our logo art manually to each downloaded episode (3 as of today) so at least I have it looking right in my own iTunes library. But in the future, I'll do the imbedding thing so it will work for everyone else. I thought since iTunes has a lag time on searchability and artwork with the original first podcast submission, this was just another thing waiting to resolve on it's own, but now I know it's another tiny step in the pre-upload process. Will definitely remember to add the art moving forward. Thanks!

Do you have the settings in iTunes correct to sync the Calendar?
Perhaps you could try using iCloud to coordinate your calendars rather than syncing with iTunes.
