Why can't I sync my iphone's contacts to the computer?
i get an eror massage when i try to sync my iphone to itunes, it said iphonw didn't sync my contacts because iphone stopped it.
i didn't stop it, and also i do have an outlook account that is working...
can i get some help please???

Okay, I'm having two iTunes related problems on my main PC/Gaming computer. I don't know if the problems are related.
First: It's running Windows 7 and iTunes 64bit. iTunes is up to date.
Problem 1) There are two iPhone 4s in the house. Mine and dads. Mine used to connect before iOS 5 hit. I updated to iOS 5, and I can no longer connect the iPhone to this computer. Dad's iPhone runs iOS 4 and works fine. the iOS5 iPhone is up to date.The iOS5 iPhone connects to the dining room PC (Also Windows 7 64bit, iTunes up to date)
Problem 2) Every now and then iTunes pops up an error saying "Unable to save iTunes Library. There isn't enough memory" or something.
It has 404GB of HDD Space left and it's a 6GB computer.

Assuming that iTunes is installed in the default C drive location, if that drive is full, that could explain the error. Might be worth moving some items from the C drive to other drives, or purging some unnecessary stuff.

Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

If all of the contacts don't get moved into the address field(s), it's possible that some of the contacts in a Group contain information but not email addresses for those individuals.
Don't really know what else to suggest except, possibly, that you delete, then re-create the problem Groups.

Because, by design, an iPhone syncs or manually manages iTunes content with one computer at a time. Each time you change computers, all iTunes content is first erased from your phone, to be replaced with the content from the new computer.
So, if you want to sync with this computer, either copy your iTunes library to this computer, or transfer the purchased content on your phone. Without syncing, right-click your phone in the left device pane & select "Transfer Purchases". Make sure this computer is authorized first: Go up to "Store", then "Authorize this Computer".

I bought the Iphone 5 when it first came out and used it with Itunes wi-fi sync to my PC but shortly after i got my phone the camera started to lose pixels so Apple was quite kind enough to give me a new one, but with one major problem!! My replacement will not sync over wi-fi! I've tried multiple times to disable the setting through itunes then restore it and everytime it fails! It'll only work with the wire plugged into the computer. No other changes have been made since the previous phone! I need a solution or Apple is gonna have another Iphone to refurbish and give to the next unlucky person.

You have to update OS X to the most recent version. Your iPhone 5 requires iTunes 10.7, so you need Mac OS X 10.6.8. To install it, open  > Software Update, and install all updates. Then, after installing this version, open it again and install iTunes 11.0.4, so you will be able to sync your device.
If you don't want iTunes 11, you can download iTunes 10.7 from the Apple website > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576

I just got an iphone 4s the other day, and i wanted to download the music i had from my old ipod to my iphone. problem is, when i go to sync my iphone, nothing happens, and it doesnt even come up in the devices. I believe i have the lateest itunes, but it still isnt working... someone help me please!

I recently got a new laptop, but now when I try to sync my iPod touch, it says "The iPod "Jessica's iPod" could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPod". I have authorized my computer, and when I try to authorize it again it says "This computer is already authorized".

Why can I only update my iPod right after restarting the computer?

Hi I have the latest iTunes software (6.0.4) and I use a windows XP operating system. Half the time when i plug in my ipod my computer says that "another user on the computer is using the itunes software and to ask them to exit." and whenever it says this it wont update my ipod. I have no idea why it says that because none of the other users on my computer ever open itunes or any related software. If someone could tell me what i could do to fix this problem than i would appreciate it very much.

Fast user switching in Windows XP is not supported
It all has to do with what account starts up the iTunesHelper.exe, which is used to recognize attached iPods.
Task Manager (ctl-alt-del)
Processes tab
Click on the checkbox to show processes for all users
Click on the ImageName column to sort alphabetically
iTunesHelper.exe and iTunes.exe need to be showing your user account.
iPodService.exe needs to be showing SYSTEM - this is what updates the iPod after it is recognized.

I was just wondering why I can only sync music onto my iPhone from one computer?? and not multiple like you can with the iPods?? I'm getting really frustrated because i have music on my home computer and 2 other laptops!

"(iii) You shall be able to store Products on five iTunes-authorized devices at any time."
When I read this, I understand it that the word Products refers to content on iTunes. But it could possibly interpreted differently.

I can't sync my iTunes library from my iPhone 5c onto my macbook pro after it wiped without deleting all the songs I have on my phone now. Is there any way around this as it is saying I need to clear all songs from my old iTunes library to connect it to a new one?

one set which photos should be synced with the ios device in itunes under the photo tab there one can choose which iphoto things one wish to sync

checking
but it keeps on skipping the transferral of music.
I rejigged the entire library last time to fix it but lost all metadata in the process and don't want to do that again. Any thoughts?

MY PREVIOUS MAC HARD DRIVE CRASHED. WHY CAN'T I SYNC MY IPHONE PHOTOS TO MY NEW MACBOOK?!?!?! SERIOUSLY. APPLE.

This is UNACCEPTABLE. When a computer hard drive crashes, you can't do anything about it. Now I have a ton of photos on my iphone that I just can't get off it when I want to sync it with my newly purchased Macbook Air.
This is one area where controlling everything end-to-end is too much. Let us get to the **** raw data files where we need too (like the Macbook allows you to do that). COME ON APPLE. SERIOUSLY, do a **** upgrade and fix this crap.

You can get your photos off your phone. If they are all in Camera Roll just import them to your new computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). If some of them were synced to your iphone from your computer (i.e., in photo library) just use an app like PhotoSync and send them to your new computer wirelessly. For that matter, you can sync your phone with your new computer without losing your data and settings if you carefully follow this guide: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141. Your only issue will be non-purchased music on your phone which is not in your new iTunes library, which will require 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer from your phone to iTunes (or you will have to rip you CDs again to import them).
