Why can't I transfer my apps to my new computer?

I have been having lots of troubles with my very old notebook so I purchased a new one when I got my new iPhone. I am not able to transfer my apps from my old computer onto my phone (and subsequently my new notebook). It tells me that this laptop isn't authorized. I have tried deauthorising all computers, downloading the latest iTunes and ensuring I am on the admin account but to no avail. Please help me, I'm going mad!

I am trying to get my old library onto my new computer and the best way for me to do that is take them off of my I Phone 3gs and "transfer purchases" but when I try it the "authorize this computer " shows up and it is already authorized! Simply copy the entire /Music/iTUnes folder from old computer to new computer.

I bought a computer with Photoshop CS6 already installed, but I don't have the serial number - can I still transfer this software to a new computer?

I currently have a MackBook with Photoshop CS6 installed. This came with the laptop when I bought it on eBay, therefore, I don't have the serial number for the software. Can I still transfer the Photoshop CS6 from this laptop onto a new one?

No.
Whoever sold you the laptop should have removed the software first, or gone through the proper process to transfer the license to you. Chances are that they used it to obtain an upgrade, in which case it would not even to eligible to be transferred.

Can I copy Creative Cloud apps to a new computer?

I'm a Creative Cloud subscriber and I've just purchased a new iMac and am getting ready to copy all my files, fonts and apps from my old machine to the new one.
Can I simply copy the CS6 apps to the new machine, or must I uninstall them on the old machine, and download and install them again on the new machine?

I'd recommend uninstalling them on the old computer and reinstalling them on the new.
The uninstallers are located at
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)

I recently graduated from college and I am starting graduate school in the fall. I got an educational license for Adobe Creative Suite free while at univeristy. Now I bought a new computer to use for graduate school. Can I transfer the Adobe Creative Suite onto the new computer? I would hate to lose the program because its been a great learning tool, but I don't have the money to buy a new version of it.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

You can keep using the license to Creative Suite which you acquire as a student or teacher, even after you leave the university.

You are allowed to have two working installations with your CC subscription. If you like you can leave the original installation and keep it as a backup. If you prefer not to be sure to sign out of it. You can install on the new machine the same way you did originally... install the CC manager, sign in, install the applications.

Why can I not restore my apps on my new iPhone

I broke my iPhone so just had it replaced,I've restored it from the iCloud back up,but lost most of my apps. How do I get them back? Also it's meant to automatically back up every day,yet since I've restored,it says last back up was last September which is months a go! I don't understand what's happened can anyone please help?

Open the App Store app > Updates > Purchased
You can not schedule an iCloud backup.
You can run it manually here:
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Back Up Now
or
It will backup automatically if:
It is connected to Wi-Fi
It is connected to a power source
The screen is locked
If any of these 3 conditions aren't met, it will not backup automically.

Apps that run on the iPhone and iPad are iOS based. Apps that run on your Mac are designed for the Mac OS X. Two different operating systems.
In other words, apps that run on your iPhone and iPad cannot run on your Mac and vice versa.

Go to settings, then scroll down to appstore and itunes store. Then tap id and sign out. Next, sign in again.
Or restart the device by holding power button until red slider appears. Slide it. After the iphone turns off. Hold the power button to turn it backon. Then try the solution above.

SO, I just purchased 2 4th gen ITouch’s and a 2nd gen Ipad for my kids. All is well and fine however my second gen device is toast so I am using one of my kids older 2 gen ITouch. My kids had been complaining that they could not download anything on the 2nd gen devices but I figured they were doing something wrong, my bad. The device has Netflix that works just fine but I am finding that if I were to delete the app and did not have it backed up I would not be able to get it back from the appstore. The device has been taken care of and is in good working order, but I am finding that Apple has chosen to no longer support IOS4.2.1 which I get. However I would expect that at a minimum I would be able to download any app that was available for the 4.2.1 os at the time the next version was released.
Drive space it cheap and ****** off customers are expensive.
Apparently Apple has planned obsolescence built into their business plan which I am finding pretty hard to swallow.
I just purchased over a grand worth of new devices and I am wondering if that was wise since apparently apple will deem them obsolete in a couple of years. That great because the newer devises are great, however I have a devise that there is nothing wrong with and apple has made the choice to no longer support the devise and not allow applicable software downloads making the devise basically useless. This is not supporting your customers!
I would hope that Apple changes their posture on this planned Obsolescence and backs its products durability with the ability to get applicable apps for the actual lifetime of the devise and not some 2 year window.
I brought my concerns to the nearest apple store where they gave me some song and dance about how the older devise was not fast enough. This is probably true for the newer apps but I think if this was a limitation then ITunes should make the newest version of the app at the time of the app is available for the devise.
Like I said drive space is cheap and this is like a row in some database.
I am wondering if I will continue to buy apple products.

However, because you reminded me to have another go at this problem, i tried something else (which i'd unsucsessfuly tried before), that is, i deleted the 'CLICK & SAVE " a/c i'd set up recently, and reverted to my previous payment me and would you know it , this time it worked !! I set up a trail purchase and it worked.
It seems to me that other poeple with this problem have to solve it by trail and error, but thank you for your help.Sandystone..
