Why can't I transfer my audiobooks to my itunes account from my ipad?

I cannot transfer my audiobooks to my itunes on my computer. I can transfer everything else but the audiobooks will not transfer.

Unfortunately it will be difficult. iPads are personal devices like phones and done have credentials. You can of course log out of and into the app store to download purchased apps but the iPad will then have all the apps of both your wife and you (though you could put these into folders I guess).

No, the iPad cannot sync to anything else since its not really a computer. You need a computer to do that.
How old is your computer? Make and Model?
Its not so much the computer, but more so the Version of iTunes installed on it.

Gift cards are country-specific, so US gift cards can only be used in the US on US-based iTunes accounts. Do you know anybody in the US that you could sell or give the card to ?

I see that you would like to print to the Photosmart C309g from your iPad Air. In order for this printer to print from any mobile Apple device you will need to install and use an app. Either of the two below;

If you mean iTunes libraries, import the files into the new one.
If you mean iTunes Store accounts, no. Unless the old account's inaccessible, leave it as is.

How can I access my Itunes account from my ipad if it was set up on an old PC I no longer have?

Several years ago I signed up for an itunes account with my Dell laptop. That laptop no longer works and I have an ipad now that I use for most things. I want to access my old account I set up originally with my PC on my ipad but am not sure how to do it? I can not use the PC to "turn on" the ipad with this account. Is there a way to do this or do I have to set up another account? How do I access the apps etc. that are already on my original account?

You should be able to log into the account via Settings > Store (if an account is currently logged in then you can tap on it to log out of it), and the content that you bought/downloaded with it which is still in the store, and which is possible to re-download (music, films and tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries) should show in the Purchased tabs in the App Store and iTunes store apps. Re-downloading an account's past purchases may tie the iPad to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
All content from iTunes is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so creating a new account won't allow you to access a previous account's downloads.

I can't connect to iCloud or iTune account from my iPad.

I get verification request time out. Wi-Fi is on and I can sign in my account from my windows 7 PC. I synced iPad with my windows 7. It does not help. Basicly my iPad is dead. It doen't allow me to surf internet or receive latest emails.
When syncing with my PC, I did get a message mentioning that account on my iPad does not update but after finshed sync, I still have the same problem with iPad.

Charge ipad via wall outlet for at least 1 hour.

Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new first (to isolate cause of the issue). Then from backup if necessary.

Yes, my phone is detected and I can back it up using itunes. I can transfer video to the itunes library, but can't then move it onto the iphone. I've tried transferring direct from windows explorer to the iphone but that doesn't work either. No error messages appear.

What country are you in ? Whether films can be redownloaded depends upon what country that you are in, whether the film studio allows redownloading, and whether the film remains in your country's store. What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If you can't redownload it then you will need to copy it over from your iPad

It's quite unusual to find a TV that has a genuine network file server access mode (yours might, though: what model is it?), so the chances are that you have been using twonky DLNA up to now... I'd suggest looking to see if your TV has upgraded its firmware. As for the solution, you might check the 'Navigation Type' selected for your TV under Sharing|Media Receivers on the twonky UI pagepage; this determines the 'views' that are presented to DLNA clients. Connect the iPod to the computer and restore via iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod inRecovery Mode to allow the restore.
A forgotton password is one of the uses that still requires a computer w/iTunes.
