Why can't I unpack the trial download version of premiere elemnts 11?

I have downloaded Premiere Elements 11 trial version, twice. It proclaims it has successfully downloaded, but then won't unpack. Man if this is what it's like getting a simple thing like a download to work, I wonder if Adobe products are worth the trouble. Over 2 gig of download, and two hours fooling aroung trying get answers from broken links. This is Adobe's last chance!!

I just downloaded the Premiere Elements 11 trial for Windows (using the Adobe Download Assistant), and the extraction started automatically at the end of the download.
If that did not happen for you, you can manually extract the download using 7-zip.
If you have troubles doing that, your download may be corrupted. What is the size of your downloaded installer package?

You can redownload music, music videos, TV shows, apps and iBooks. The only things you can't re-download are movies and audiobooks, for which Apple has not been able to get permissions from the content owners in the UK to allow.

you can update an iPad 1 up to iOS 5.1.1 , you need to connect it to iTunes on a computer and update from there

Please note that iPad 1 goes up to iOS 5.1.1, while iPad 2 goes up to iOS 6.1.3, the (current) latest version. You won't be able to ' choose ' iOS 5.1.1 on iPad 2, it will automatically update to the latest version possible.

Why can't I open the trials?

I installed the trials of illustrator, photoshop and indesign through creative cloud but whenever I click them the send me to the website where there is a link that I can click which in its turn sends me back to where I started. SO how do I open the programs to start working? I can't find them on the computer either.

Please click on Utilities and go to Adobe Installers and if the above mentioned Products shows up then uninstall it. Once done please restart Mac and try reinstalling the applications.

Why can I only access the trial version of InDesign CC

I converted my purchased version of CS6 to a cloud account earlier this year, and I just went to upgrade to the CC version of InDesign but it's only allowing me access to the trial version or asks me for a serial number, which doesn't seem to exist for creative cloud. If I'm paying for the creative cloud, shouldn't I be able to install the latest version of the apps?

Why can I not get the most updated version of a web page? I have cleared cookies and history.

I am trying to access our soccer club website and was informed by the club president that the website was updated, however, when I try to open it, I get the old version with last year's information. I have cleared cookies and history. Any ideas?

Have you tried a different web browser, if you have one, to see if the site loads correctly?
You could choose to run Safari, Firefox, SeaMonkey, or maybe another (avoid chrome)
and have a few options in how some pages load, or be able to choose if some sites
prefer a different browser. My macs all have at least three browsers. Some are dedicated.
PS: did they confirm the site is still using the same URL web address?
Hopefully you can get the sites you need to visit, to work.

The new method for getting at the "option" symbols works fine in other places like spotlight, but now even the older "option+letter" doesn't work in most places.

Chrome doesn't support the new accent/diacritics/macron chooser. I'm not sure about other browsers such as Firefox. You can use the old Option+letter combination that Doug suggested. Hopefully updates will solve these little incompatibilities shortly.

Dont know if i made it clear in the previous post, but it used to work with no problem, it's just recently that this has begun to be a problem. could it be the latest updates that are causing the problem? the only thing ive been doing differently is i've begun transfering my dvd collection to digital copies to stream through itunes. the digital files are ones that itunes recognizes and worked before. is it possible to have a library that is too large and slows down the streaming? i tried using airplay last night, with the same results, the loading wheel just spins forever. the AppleTV can find the itunes library, and all the files on it, but they just dont play.

Can I manually install a trial downloaded with the Assistant?

I am trying to install Photoshop Extended CS6 under Ubuntu/Wine (as I have done previously, successfully with PS7 and PS CS2 at our institute). Unfortunately it is only available via Download Assistant, which runs under Ubuntu/Wine, downloads stuff, but then get's utterly stuck "extracting".
Can I manually install the trial?
