You can try out a Flash supporting Browser like Photon or Puffin and see if you can view whatever you are trying to view through there.

The download does not install Flash. You should find the downloaded file in your Downloads folder. Double-click on the .dmg file then double-click on the installer icon once the disc image has been mounted.

When playing Pogo, I got an alert saying Flash needed updating. I pushed the appropriate button, and was then presented with a page full of confusing instructions. I couldn't understand most of the terms used and I wonder if Adobe can tell me exactly which Flash version is on my computer, then why can't Adobe update my computer without having me determing what my NEW computer has or does and/or what all the terms refer to.
I have a daughter that works in IT department of her employer and she was unsuccessful in updating.

I have an IPad 2 and an iMac PC. Apparently I can't watch a lot of sites because apple don't support adobe flash player. What is the alternative. I can't believe a company as big as apple haven't got a solution.

Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

You're probably using IE11. This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser, at least until Microsoft gets their act together and fixes IE..

Ever since I upgraded firefox about 2 weeks ago I no longer have Adobe Flash so a lot of my e-mails won't even open up. I can't get anything from YouTube. When I try to install Adobe Flash Player I get a message that says since I have Mozilla I can't get it. Is there a work around?

You have Shockwave Flash 7.0 r19 installed for Firefox, in addition to Shockwave Flash 10.2 r153. You need to get rid of that old version which is overriding Firefox from using the later version.
See if you can remove that old version from the Control Panel > Add /Remove Programs. If it isn't listed there, remove the NPSWF32.dll file for that version from the \Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\ folder - (right-click that file and open Properties and then view the Version tab to verify it is that old version of Flash, if you have more than one of those files in that folder.)
