Cannot view videos on facebook because ipad 2 does not support adobe flash

Flash is not supported on the iPad. You can read a zillion of the past discussions about this.

There is a Facebook app available that probably does what you want, I don't "Face" so I know nothing about the app.

    There's a glitch with the app. All you can do is wait for it to resolve. You can access facebook via safari in the meantime if you need to.

    Yeah, about that... Apple stopped signing iOS 5.1.1.  Because Apple is no longer issuing it. Apple only issues the most current software for a given device.  See http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/iOS6.pdf  It states:
    "Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, you are granted a limited non-exclusive
    license to download iOS Software Updates that may be made available by Apple for your model
    of the iOS Device to update or restore the software on any such iOS Device that you own or
    control."
    So per the Software License Agreement you HAD TO ACKNOWLEDGE to upgrade to iOS 6 you agreed to use iOS 6 in accordance with that agreement and it doesn't give you permission to downgrade your version of iOS.
