Why can't I use my gmail as my Adobe ID?
It tells me "That Adobe ID is not available. Please try another address." Who else would be using it?? It's my own email! Does Adobe object to all gmail addresses?
There is something else to consider - I've done this. Perhaps you've previously registered it yourself, maybe years ago. Try saying you've forgotten your password and see if it sends you an email.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

That means you already have an account under that email. No duplicate accounts so your SOL, make a new email, or login with that gmail.

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

It is possible that the <i>cookies.sqlite</i> file that stores the cookies is corrupted if clearing cookies doesn't work.
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Is your Apple ID one of the old ones which isn't an email address but simply a username? you can't use that to make an iCloud account.
I'm not sure whether you can change the ID to an email address (such as a free GMail address) at http://applied.apple.com - you could try that; if you can't do that you will have to create a new Apple ID for use with iCloud. You can still use the present one for these forums and iTunes. -
Hi, my MacBook Air is not working anymore if it's not connected with the power cable. It's pretty new so I can't imagine that the battery is dead already. Why can't I use my MacBook Air without the power cable even though I charged it for hours?

Why can't we use iTunes gift cards with family sharing? After Christmas, we now have lots of account credit we can't use. Very frustrating. There is no option found for using account credit.
I just logged out of my daughter's account and back in, and now it works. Deducted from gift card account balance. So I hope this is resolved.

This feature will only be available when the new update ios6 comes out in sept or october and will only be for the iphone 4s or the new ipad if havent got one of these devices then facetime will only work over wifi the reason apparently the older devices are unable to handle it requires more processing power.

I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In -

Credit cards do need to be from the same country as your account, which may or may not apple, but if you're visiting from another country and trying to use, for example, a UK card in the US app store, it won't work.

Best thing to do is go to your email, hit reply on any email and find the backslash on your keyboard. Select the Backslash and then cut/copy it into your mail settings or wherever you want to use it.
