Why can't I use my nano when connected to the PC?

When I'm connected to the PC my nano does not function. Is this normal by design??

No. Need clarification of your problem. Do you see your iPod Nano on your desktop and in iTunes? Is this what you mean that it's not functioning?
Which model/generation iPod Nano do you have?

Why can't I use Column Browser when looking at the music that is on my iPhone.

I have upated to iTunes 11 and I am running Windows 7. I have the Manage Music Manually checked on the settings for my iPhone. When I look at the music that is on my phone in iTunes 11, I get the list view with no other options and no column browser. I have checked several forums and all of them deal with the Music that is in the Library. I may be wrong, but wasn't column broswer there in earlier versions for the connected devices? If so, why take it away? I guess what I want to know is, is this going to be permanent?

The column browser doesn't make as much sense in your playlists as it does in your library and does seem to be gone. It does still work in your library. While you're in the Music tab, choose Songs to see everything. Cmd-B will still bring up the column browser.

On the iPad you can stream videos, photos, or music from the Video, Photos, Music, and YouTube apps to an Apple TV OR just stream music to an AirPort Express Base Station.

Why can i only see my music when connected to wifi

i started to use icloud when i got the new iphone and new ipad. but i can only see my music when i'm connected to wifi or 4g. what can i do to use the music when no service is available.

Under the music tab in your settings you will need to turn on cellular data, with itunes match if your not connected to the internet either through celleluar data or wi-fi it will not play the music because it is streaming from icloud. The only other way to have your music play with out connection is to actually sync them to your phone. See attached.

It sounds like you are wanting to use ApplePay to purchase content from either the iTunes or App Stores. According to the following article, you are correct. ApplePay is for in-app (if the app supports it) or purchasing from a retail store.

I download tv shows but can only see them in itunes when connected to the internet and periodically all tv shows disappear

I purchased a tv series and downloaded it (several hours) but i can only play it while connected to the internet, I assume it is somewhere in the cloud. What ever happened to buy it download it and it stays on the hard drive? The other day 8 tv series and 7 movies that i had previously purchaed had disappeared from itunes.

Why can't I save my tabs when I exit the Firefox browser?

That is to say, where is the option that was available in the previous version of firefox?
I ''don't'' care for the option "open browsers from last time" since I may not want to save my tabs each and every time, not to mention the fact that it's goddamn cumbersome to keep going to the options menu just to switch between "show my homepage" and "show my tabs" every time I use firefox. I mean honestly.
And don't even '''mention '''the "restore previous session" option. I can't help but feel like what I'm asking is that difficult to implement. Why was it removed in the first place? It was a very important feature for me, when Firefox would ask: "Do you want firefox to save your tabs for next time" when I'd close the window, and there was an option to stop firefox from asking for those who so wish.
Please bring back that feature, it suits my needs perfectly. I hope people remember what I'm referring to. I hope "about:config" has an option to bring this back...

You can have things the old way, and even if you don't choose to restore your tabs the next time Firefox starts you can still restore your through your history as John99 mentioned, should you change your mind after restarting Firefox.

I am running version firefox 9.0.1, I can't chat using Yahoo? when I click the contact to chat NO popup window? This happened last week. What can I do?

I am running Windows XP SP3. Firefox 9.0.1
When I try to use Yahoo chat, the popup Window does not display!
I can use iExplorer to chat.
This started to happen since last week (Wed. or Thur I believe)
I tried to disable all the add-ons but nothing. I've set the browser to default and nothing
I can see someone send me a chat blinking but I can't use it, nothing in conversation history.
How do I fix this?

There was a workaround posted, but I've not tested it myself.
The bug has been resolved in Firefox 10, so you may want to try installing the Beta if you feel it is important enough.

At times when I can connected to other WiFi networks, I cannot send e-mail.
I'm not sure if this is something in the settings for my e-mail, or related to the WiFi network.
I am able to receive e-mails at that time.

Check that you have set up the OUTGOING server as well as the incoming server. Follow the instructions in this technical support article to get to your outgoing server configuration. I have received iTunes gift cards from people who expected that I would use them to buy Apple merchandise. I understand that there are two different types of gift cards but it just seems intuitive that they would be interchangeable Since it all funnels back to Apple.
