I have an old iPod Touch with old software that can no longer be updated:
iOS version 6.1.6
I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In

Best thing to do is go to your email, hit reply on any email and find the backslash on your keyboard. Select the Backslash and then cut/copy it into your mail settings or wherever you want to use it.

For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. Why does my iPhone 5 keep saying "cannot download" "There is not enough storage to download 'Facebook'. (Btw, I already have fb on my iphone 5, just trying to update it). You can manage your storage in Settings... Well, in settings, I have plenty of storage left that I bought... called iCloud! What's up with this piece of $500 junk I bought from apple, that it won't allow me to record memorable moments in my life!!! Should I go back to android, which lets me record hours of video/audio/pictures, without ever "CHARGING ME EXTRA", never even a dime!!! What a waste of time, energy, resources, etc. I miss Steve Jobs... He wouldn't have screwed his customers over like this!

Go to Settings>General>Usage and see how much available local storage you have available. You can also see what apps are taking up the most room.
You say that you paid for more iCloud storage. That's for back ups. You can't download apps to it or steam media from it. In order to take pictures you have to have space on the phone itself.

hi . i bought unlocked iphone5 the last summer from apple store in Los Angeles , when i got back my hometown it did not work with LTE internet it just work with with 3G internet i changed the sim card 3 times and it is the same problem. when i try the same sim card with other iphone5 the LTE work very good ..!!

Where is your hometown?
If not in the U.S., the iPhone 5 sold in the U.S. does not work with LTE networks in every other country. There are different model numbers for the 5 sold in some other countries.

Credit cards do need to be from the same country as your account, which may or may not apple, but if you're visiting from another country and trying to use, for example, a UK card in the US app store, it won't work.
Could you have typo'd a number? Or could the card be expired?

If you are not in the US then you cannot use the US store, the store's terms say that you have to be in a country to use it - if you are using the US store then you are risking having your account disabled.

If you have an older LabVIEW (6.1 or earlier) you will need to exchange the in port and out port VIs that came with LabVIEW with different ones and install a DLL. The reason is documented here . This link (which is the first link returned when you search ni.com for "in port") explains basically that the OS won't let you until you have kernel level access. The devzone link at the bottom of the refered page will include all of the code that you need to install (VIs and DLL) to make it work.

Why can I not use my PS CS6??

All of a sudden today 14 Feb 15, when I try to use CS6 Photoshop, which I have owned and use for years, PS starts to come up, then deletes itself and Adobe Application Manage blocks me.
It wants me to sign up for Creative Cloud and pay! Of course I get a 30 day "free" trial and the pop up says I can continue to use CS6 after the trial if I sign up and pay for Creative Suite? I don't want Creative Suite, I want to continue to use CS6, Photoshop and all the other Adobe applications for which I paid BIG BUCKS! What is going on? How can I get PS CS6 to work as it has for many years?

Thanks for your concern. I addressed (fixed? worked around?) the problem
by pulling the original CS6 install DVD. I un-installed CS6 from my
MacBook, then re-installed (providing my product s/n of course) then
suffering though the interminable Adobe update. After many hours of this
recovery, all seems fine (at least for now).

I suspect it is a case of different rules in different regions. Here in the UK I have a choice of Visa, MasterCard, Amex, ClickandBuy (who they?), Maestro and None... Where are you seeing PayPal advertised as an option?
