Why can't I use Omnifocus anymore after I upgraded to Mountain Lion?

Recently, I got the developers Mountain Lion. But when I got this, I found out I couldn't use this app called Omnifocus anymore. Any suggestions?

If you have a backup of Lion, restore that to a blank partition, erasing the one with Mountain Lion installed if needed. If you don't have a backup and Lion's recovery partition still exists(press Option at startup), reload it from there.

  • Why is Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 crashing after my upgrade to Mountain Lion?

OK. The day I upgraded to Mountain Lion was the day that Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 stopped working for me. I have tried re-installing Pro and now I'm getting the error message that "Licensing for this product has stopped working." I have been all over the Adobe boards and everything is written towards fixing problems pre-Mountain Lion.
I tried a License Recovery Launcher and the problem there is that Power PC are no longer supported. Does the fact that Power PC apps are no longer supported have anything to do with this or are their other issues? Does anyone have any constructive solutions?
I can't believe that there is not more discussions about this so any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Mine is crashing, too, and I must assume that the 9.5.2 update is the cause. Version 9.5.1 of Acrobat Pro worked perfectly well on 10.8.2 in every aspect.  My crashes occur on trying to save as "Adobe PDF Files, Optimized".
I think, it is not OSX at fault here but the Adobe update; I found a (PC related) post on the adobe forums.  Hopefully a fix will be issued by Adobe.  I wonder if it could be a font issue?

  • Why can't i use my flagged pictures in sreensaver with mountain lion

in the previous OS i was able to sellect my flagged pics in iphoto to use in my screensaver also it would put a diffrent pic on my two screens.  Now with mountain lion i can't figure out how to do either of these things.  Has anyone elce had this issue?

Apple appears to have significantly changed the Screen Savers tab in System Preferences.  I was able to select the Flagged smart album (or any other iPhoto album for that matter) by selecting the type of slideshow (from the 'Slideshow' section).  Then selected the "Source" popup menu box, selected "iPhoto Library..." then selected the Flagged (or whatever iPhoto album/event you want).  Then select the "Choose" button and you are done.

  • My macbook pro starts to pop after I upgraded to Mountain Lion, what can I do?

    Hi guys,
As the title said, my MBP 13" late 2011 starts to have popping sound coming out from speaker a while ago.
It just pop every few minutes and I am very worried.
I did a few research and it seems like there's something to do with the hard disk.
note that this happened right after I upgraded to Mountain Lion.
    comfort me!!!
    Thanks for helping.

    Hey Samuraijin
    /Hug to start with
Well when you did the upgrade the OSX ML uses your drive alot. As you said the popping sound from your research its comming form the drive.  if that is the case.  Check your disk with disk utitlities just incase too see if the drive is still ok.  If its all Green your good if its red it might need replacement.
Note that Popping sound is usually a hardware problem or optical audio problem when using external speakers. instead of internal ones so becareful. My advice would be too be let it slide still the next patch if disk utilities says your drive is fine (Usually after 2 weeks of main realese). After that if its still there you have to get the puppy in for a checkup.
Hope i was able to comfort you in some way

    The iMac should have WiFi.
Open System Preferences and go to Network.
    Select WiFi
Enable the "Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar" if you want to always see what your connection state looks like.
If the button says Turn Wi-Fi On, click it.
In the Network Name, look for a network that has a bunch of random-looking characters and numbers (I can't remember what format the default network has).
Select it. You should then be able to connect to and configure your airport extreme with Airport Utility.
If no-go, then connect a cable between the Airport Base Station and your iMac (temporarily to get it set up).
Once connected, you should be able to see and configure the base station in Airport Utility.

  • Time Machine Backups after recent upgrade to Mountain Lion

Basically to keep a long story short - i need to take my computer in for repair tomorrow. I recently did an upgrade to Mountain Lion a day or two ago. I haven't done a Time Machine backup until today (a couple days after i upgraded to Mountain Lion) because i wanted to make sure that my previous TM backup (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) was the most up to date and best update that i could revert back to if i had any issues with Mountain Lion, or any application compatibility, etc etc.
I don't have any broken applications and it seems like Mountain Lion is running better than Snow Leopard. However, as i said - i'm taking my computer in for repair tomorrow, i would like to know that i have the most up to date Time Machine backup with the new Mountain Lion so that when i restore it back from my Time Machine backup after i get it back from repair, i won't have any issues with the migration, which could potentially lead me into more technicalities.
I have a 500GB Harddrive, with about 70GB left of free space....I did the initial backup prior to upgrading to Mountain Lion, and it upgraded 400+GB of info, now, since Mountain Lion - the first backup with Mountain Lion initially said 46GB - then it went down to 14GB by the time it was all said and done....so what exactly did it back up?
Did it back up all the necessary files to keep Mountain Lion running smoothly when i restore it back to the way it was after i get it back? Did it not back everything up that it needs to? Is it safe to erase my internal drive and do a clean installation so i can take it in, and not worry about not being able to migrate things back over or applications not working correctly?
When i get it back, i presume it will come with Mountain Lion back on it and i can just boot up into the Recovery Disk and restore it from a Time Machine backup that way, correct?
    Thanks for the help.
    - Jason

I received the same error and experienced the same issue that you have described but after performing a Time Capsule soft reset and then toggling the TM Off and then back On I was able issue a backup now and see my previous backups.
Here is the link to where I posted my fix; https://discussions.apple.com/message/19069543#19069543. Someone else had success using a different method. The only comment / complaint that I have since the ML OS X upgrade is that TM now takes at least 20 to 30 seconds before I can click/select a backup.
    I hope this helps.

  • HT1338 After I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I cannot get my external speakers (Bose) to work on my iMac.  Any help?

After I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I cannot get my external speakers to work (Bose).  What can I do to fix?  They worked fine prior to upgrade.

If you haven't already, go to your Applications folder>System Preferences>"Sound">click on the center tab labelled "Output">highlight your external Bose Speakers in the list by clicking on it>turn up the Volume slider at the bottom of the window.  Hopefully that solves your problem.
    Hope this helps

  • Safari wont start. After I upgraded to Mountain Lion

After I upgraded to Mountain Lion, my sfarai does not boot up. it is frustrating that I have to restart the Mac a couple of times before I am able to use safari. Anyone else experienced the same issue? how did you resolve it.

Im going to answer my own question. Problem Fixed! After I was on the phone for over an hour with a senior advisor we found the problem was with the download or the instilation. He had me Shut Down Computer and hold down Command and R then press power button hold this down until the recovery window pops up. Then reinstall mountain lion os system. this does not wipe out documents, photos and apps like windows does. I didnt know this since Im new to MacBooks. Hopefully this may help someone else.
PS I beleive In order to do this you need to be plugged into your router to have internet access. They had me do this. This will take about an hour but now Im up and running.

  • How to do recovery after my upgrade to Mountain Lion.

After upgrading to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard, I found that I couldn't access Apple Works 6 or my saved DVDs from work travels.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  It represents 10 years of work.

If you need AppleWorks then you are going to have to return to 10.6
The easiest way to do that is to restore the back you took before the upgrade
Pages can open AppleWorks text documents and Number can open AppleWorks spreadsheets

  • HT4628 My macbook pro will not automatically reconnect to the wifi after a sleep. This has started after having upgraded to mountain Lion (10.8).

    Hi
After I have installed Mountain Lion (10.8) - my macbook pro will not connect automatically to my preferred wifi network. It used to do that on the previous versions. It seems that the mac does not recognize the preferred network, as it asks me to choose a network after evey sleep/restart. I have modified the network preference to have my preferred netwrok at the top of the list. I have tried with/without checking the "ask me before joining a new network". It still behaved the same.
    Thanks
    Eitan

Try making a new network connection and renewing the DCHP lease as detailed here:
