Why can't I use tab key to move around in Add Bookmark Dialog?

It is much easier and faster if the tab key can be used to move around in the Add Bookmark Dialog. Otherwise, it will be very annoying that every time you add a bookmark, you need to grab a mouse.
Or could you recommend a addon that let me add bookmark without using mouse and the bookmark is just organized simply in a tree view?

Never tried that before in Firefox, but the Tab key works for me to navigate thru the Add Bookmark dialog in Firefox 3,6.15 on Ubuntu 10.04 Linux. Might be different in Win7 or you may have a problem with one of your addons.
Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Why can't I use scroll keys on my Mac in Firefox 9?

Why can't I use distribution key "6"?

Hello everybody,
we made a planning per quarter in which quantities in tons are planned as well as a margin/ton. The users plans the quantities and the margin.
I would like to use a user specific distribution key by percentage for distribution of the quantities towards the monthly periods. This works fine, for ex.
jan. 10 %
feb. 20 %
mar. 2%
etc...
For the margin/ton I would like to use a ditribution key (for value distribution)which copies the value per quarter to the months of that quarter, for ex,:
Q1 40 euro/ton (it's a value per ton, so the value remains the same)
distribute with single value:
jan 40 euro/ton
feb 40 euro/ton
mar 40 euro/ton
I thought we could use dirstribution key "6" "Carry forward individual value" but this is not possible. This is an Entry help distr. key and according to the system I need a True distr. key
Can anyone help how to do this. Would appreciate it very much.

Why can't I use Lion to play movies and music vita remote?

I Snow Leopard it was pussible to ge acces to all the movies, music etc. vith the remotecontrol. Why cant I do that in Lion?

This scenario is not supported by Apple or whomever. If something goes wrong .. well, a warning should be included if we point at such "custom" solutions.
Also this will not help him in iTunes Library content in FrontRow... iTunes 10.4.x uses a Library format that FrontRow in Lion can't read any longer.. and if he has a ipod/iphone/ipad he surely can not afford to stick life-long with iTunes 10.3..
to me this is NO solution but full of unknown future hickups, just saying. FrontRow is gone, the sooner one gets used to it, the better. What if 10.7.2 will break this "workaround" ? and what with future iTunes ? .. you see what I want to say..

After updating to 7.0.1 I can not always use the tab key to move to the next field or use the shift and tab to move to the prior field in forms. I tried in safe mode and the tab key worked just fine. I'm not sure about all web forms I've only recently updated to 7.0. The wen form I was using was for appraisal purposes and it has multiple data fields to fill in and also drop down menus to select from. Might I always have to use Firefox in safe mode to be able to utilize the tab between field feature? Thanks for your help!

When I try to zoom the text of an e-mail I received or sent , I can no longer use the keys Command + to enlarge the text, although I can reduce it with Command -.
As I have a problem with my eyes, This is a serious matter for me.
When I write an e-mail, if I select text and press Command +, it just displaces the text to the right.
Now, my husband has a USB keyboard. If he connects it to my computer, his regular Command + does not work either, but he uses the extended keyboard, then it works. Unfortunately, he needs it for a musical application which does not work with a wireless keyboard.

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

Why can't I use the Basic brush tool?

I'm learning the ropes of drawing in Illustrator and I've fallen at the first hurdle. Why can't I use the Basic brush tool? Whenever I select the brush tool and use the 'Basic' brush type, the cursor turns into a hashed circle indicating I can't draw. If I load other brushes, I can draw with other brush types, but I can't use the Basic one. If I select the Basic brush when I have other brushes loaded and try to draw with it, it always defaults to a different brush! I don't understand why.
On a related matter, I'm also having trouble changing brush size. I know that using the [ and ] keys changes brush size, but I have no idea what the values are. If I try this in Photoshop, I can see the brush size in the Options bar, but in Illustrator it doesn't appear anywhere! Not in the Brushes palette, the Stroke palette or the Appearance palette. Where can I see the brush size?

The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

I had FB working again two days ago, and yesterday in mid-serve Safari just "couldn't find the server" once more...
That's a different issue...
First, if you can just use English, open System Preferences > Language & Text then select the Language tab. Drag English to the top of the list then restart your Mac.
Now for the server issue. Try using Open DNS. That shold help the "couldn't find the server" issue...
Open System Preferences / Preferences then select the Network tab. Click the Advanced tab then click the DNS tab.
Click +
Enter these numbers exactly as you see them here.

Click +

Then click OK.
Try accessing Facebook on Safari now.

Data fetch from table without Refresh and without using tab key.

hi Friends,
I have a problem i want to extract data from table without Refresh into text field without using Tab key. when i'll enter any value in a text field then corressponding value should come in to corressponding textfield without using Tab Key.
eg. when i enter emp_id 101 in a text field then the first_name and last_name ,adress should come in to corressponding text fields without refresh and without using Tab key.
How Can I do this.

I assume that this is similar to: Data fetch without Refresh rather than Re: Value of one textfield should come into another textfield Without Using TAB ?
If so, the only change you need to make on the first one is to use "onkeyup" instead of "onchange" in the item's "HTML Form Element Attributes" setting.
Note, however, that the user must move away from the item at some point (for example, to click a button), so the onchange will be triggered anyway.

How to set current row in table after use tab key on inputText

My first post .., I'm newbie in ADF and I will try to explain my problem.
For the moment we use ADF 11g (11.1.1.4), in a jsff page I have a table with an inputText column.
On the valueChangeListener of the inputText, I invoke a method in a viewScope bean which call an EJB method, make some services in the EJB on the line modified. After that I refresh the VO and the table (because others values on the line have been modified) and reset the focus on the same inputText modified by the user with javaScript because focus was lost after refresh.
So far, everything works fine.
When I use the arrow keys to change the selected row in the table, it's work fine (focus is still in the next or previous inputText), but if user try to use tab key to change the current line, the inputText on the next line have the focus but the current row of the table is not changed (I think it's normal).
My question : how can I change the current row after tab key pressed in this case ?
I don't know if it's really clear, not easy to explain, don't hesitate to ask more details.

Use a client event to listen for the keyboard entry and intercept the tab. The use af:serverListener to call the server to set the rowKey on the table and issue a PPR for the table to re-paint

My problem is simple as whenevr i use tab key in my JTextArea, instaed of shifting focus to next component, it adds a tab space to my text.

you can also redefine the textarea's TAB Key behaviour. The tutorial has a good example for that - better than i would be able to describe :-)

Access table cells using tab key with iterators

Hi,
I use a tableview with iterator and allow users to mouseclick certain column cells. I capture these user interactions using server event "onCellClick". But I cannot access these cells using tab key instead of mouse click. But tab key is a must for visibly challenged users. Is there any way to access table cells using tab keys (with iterators)?
I use icons in those cells to replace check box and change the icons to differentiate checked/unchecked status.

But I was able to solve my problem. I don't think I gave all the information to simulate my problem in your environment. I used images in certain table cells and was not able to access those cells using tab key or access key. Tag <img> doesn't have the attributes tabindex and access key.
I solved the problem by surrounding the <img> by anchor tag <A>, which has both attributes. I did these changes within the iterator method RENDER_CELL_START using CL_BSP_BEE_TABLE.
In the event handling, I had to do separate processing for mouse click event and key press event for those cells.
For visibly challenged users:
They can access those cells by tab key or access key and the key press event is used to capture when they hit enter key.
So this problem is irrelevant to service packages (SP38,..).

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
