Why can't I watch YouTube videos on Apple TV? Problem started yesterday. I'm able to watch via Airplay from my iPhone.

Yes, thank you very much. The problem was related to the Flash plugin. It had been disabled by Firefox 'for my safety' apparently. No supported versions available any longer by Adobe for ppc macs - had to download an older version from an archive site - fixed the problem. No more crashes on Firefox or Safari while on Youtube.

If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

It started yesterday suddenly is my iPad and iPod not able to watch YouTube videos. I can go into the sight and everything but it says that every kip try to opened is not available. Same thing goes for my iPod. But it works perfectly fine on my Samsung phone and friends Mac computer. So what the **** has happened!? I have tried to restart the devises and logged in and out on YouTube. Tried to open it in web browses but nothing works.

Being able to watch video on a wi-fi network is possible. Can you connect to the Internet via wi-fi? If so then you need provide more info, such as which browswer you are using. If you are still on 10.6.8 and using Safari then navigate to Adobe's website and update your copy of Adobe Flash.

I want to apologize if this has been asked before but I just couldn't find a thread that had this discussion. I just realized the other day that I cannot watch HD videos on youtube on the iPhone 5. My friend just got a Galaxy S3 and we were comparing the playback quality and there is a huge difference. Both of us were connected to a wifi network and we chose the same exact video and on the Galaxy S3, it tells you that its playing the HD version of the video whereas on the iPhone 5, it by default was playing the low quality version and there was no way for me to choose the HD version. So my question is, can the iPhone 5 play HD video on youtube at all? Is there an option that I need to select for it to do that?

Jasmine has settings to control the video quality. The YouTube app doesn't give you any control.
Neither of these apps are from Apple. The YouTube app is from Google, and as the maker of Android, they have no particular interest in making the iPhone look good.

I can watch ustream videos on my apple mac pro. However, I can't watch them on my iPad....I had downloaded the UStream app, but that also didn't work.

Actually it is not Adobe refusing to build an ios version of Flash, it is Apple who has refused to work closely with Adobe to allow them to create a very efficient version.
In Steve Job's own words he says "WE do not allow Flash on IOS..."
Blackberry, who has been working with Adobe, and allowing them access to the resources they need in order to create a very efficient Flash player has done so with incredible success. Even the Register points out how insanely well the Flash player and Air enviroment runs on the playbook, and during their tests found zero effect on battery compared to using any other software on the device, which gets about 13 hours in battery life.
Google, has also allowed Adobe access to the resources required to make an efficient player and have done so with incredible success, Android 3.1 and Flash 10.3 incorporated Hardware acceleration, the ability for flash to perform operations on the gpu, requiring far less energy. Many reports coming out have found the same situaton as they did with the blackberry, meaning Flash, when allowed access to the proper resources can be less resource intensive and less of a battery drain than any other software on the device.
Windows, has been working with adobe and allowing them access to these resources for years, and you can see the difference in performance on a windows machine vs a mac.
If Apple does not want to work with Adobe to allow the Flash runtime to perform up to its potential on their devices then that is fine. But understand it is Apple that is crippling the flash runtime and causing it to perform task in ways it is not designed to, and thus requiring more resources, and battery.
Last year, when Steve Jobs released his open letter, I was up in the air about it. But now after seeing company after company manage to get the Flash runtime working and being super efficicient, I have no choice but to think that the only company having issues with it (Apple) must be doing so via thier own choice, and not due to the fault of adobe, or the efficiency of the platform.

I try to watch a video on iPad and it won't work.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Somehow or I don't know I can't load youtube videos, I can access the youtube page and pick a video normaly but when it's time for the video to load it won't ! the video screen will just stay in color balck ! I tried erasing the cookies and rebooting my laptop but nothing works !

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Why Can't I Sync YouTube Video To My 1st Gen iphone Any Longer?

For the last year I have been able to sync video from YouTube using TubeSock. First video converts and downloads into iTunes, then iTunes syncs and puts video on iPhone. Now, it seems, since the time of the iPhone 2.0 software upgrade I cannot get video to iPhone any longer. Tubesock says "file does not exist" although I am watching the YouTube video play. So I download and install TubeTV which now allows me to download those YouTube videos into iTunes again and they are playable in iTunes, however they will not sync to iPhone even when using iTunes->Advanced->Convert selection for iPod or iPhone. Please help?
