Why can't iphoto see the pics?

I use an Imac running Mac OX X 10.4.11 and iphoto 6. I was trying to copy a lot of pics using Rozio Toast 7. So I decided (Dumb me) to drag the iphoto icon from the dock to the Toast 7 copy area. The iphoto icon disappeared and it was no longer on the dock. I was able to put iphoto back on the dock, however not all the pics are there. I found the missing pics in a folder by clicking the macintosh HD icon, pictures, iphoto library, data, a folder I named 2001, I then dragged the 2001 icon to the iphoto icon and dropped it there. But I got the following message:
Unreadable Files: 1 the following file could not be imported. (The file is in the iphoto library folder.) then inside the box it says /users/Nes/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Data/2001
Then, if I open a picture from the 2001 file using the “preview” program the pics are smaller than when I had them in iphoto.
So here are a couple of questions. Can I do a “restore” and start my computer as it was a week ago before I made the mistake? If not, how can I get Iphoto to open the pics again.

1 - Never ever for any reason =make changes of any sort to the content or the structure of the iPhoto library - there are no user serviceable parts in it
2 - the Dock has nothing to do with your photos - the Dock only contains an alias for the iPhoto application (it points to the iPhoto application in your applications folder)
3 - all you need to do is restore your iPhoto library from a backup prior to the problem - I would drag the existing bad on to the desktop just in case and then restore the iPhoto library from an appropriate time

The original image files are missing form your iPhoto library or iPhoto cannot find them, because the link to the originals has been broken. The image info is stored in the internal libraries, independent of the original files. That is, why you are still seeing them.
I restored the whole library from my backup.
Try restoring from an older backup, from before you first noticed the problem.
How large is the library, that you restored? Is the file size large enough to hold all your photos, or has the size been reduced? If the library is still large, the photos may still be inside, even if iPhoto cannot find them.

What happened, before your iPhoto library got deleted? Which applications have you been running, or which new software have installed or upgraded? Have you moved the library to a different disk or tried to use it from different user account or access it over the network?

No, that just shows the carrier. I am looking for the setting>general>carrier tab from where you can select the carrier you want to connect to either automatically or manually. Just imported a CD of rare folk music that a friend gave me and want to edit the title, album name, etc like I used to.
In iTunes under "View" the column Browser options are greyed out - not available.
Seems that this is the view where editing is possible.
What can I do to bring back column browser?

Select Songs (not Artists or Albums) at top and you can use the Column browser.

why can't I see the data in the spreadsheet file in Which I wrote my output data? I set the format of write to spreadsheet file to be %.11f. Though I can see only colums of zeros, I can plot out the data.

I tried th "%.11f" format and it worked in the attached VI (6.1). Please respond and attach a small example VI that demonstrates your problem.

Why can't I see the keyframes in color over stroke?

Why can't I see the keyframes in color over stroke? I am trying to adjust a heart beat monitor effect I created. I started with a bezier line and gave it a light streak #3 style. In the Color Over Stoke shape window I can click the arrows left and right to jump from KF to KF but they will not appear as editable points in the keyframe editor. I wonder if this is a bug?

Here's what I did to see them
-Added a line shape
-Dropped Light Steak 3 style on the line layer in the layer list.
-Selected the line and in the inspector, went to Shape>Stroke>Color over stroke.
-Selected the first color tag in the gradient.
-At the far right side of the color parameter, clicked the downward facing arrow and selected "Show in Keyframe Editor" option.
The keyframes show up in the keyframe editor. Repeat for each color or opacity tag as needed.

You should be able to see normal layers, but PSE doesn't understand layer groups/sets or comp layers. The inexpensive add-on elements+ from simplephotoshop.com will let you expand layer groups. (If you also have Premiere Elements installed you should be able to see layer groups in PSE without adding anything.)

If it's in the Spam mailbox, then Spam Mailbox would show there.
In my example above, I'm looking in the Sent Mailbox as a whole (main mailbox, not the subfolder account) and it's showing the account I sent from. If I had sent messages from my other accounts, it would show those also. The only purpose of showing the mailbox in the message list is to know which of your accounts it's to or from when you have multiple accounts. If you only have one mail account, then it provides no use to have Mailbox shown in the message list.
When you are looking at the Sent Mail, then the message list shows the person who it was sent to.
All other mailboxes show the person who the message was sent from in the list.
Unless you're moving recieved mail and sent mail to a common mailbox, then it's not a big deal.
Maybe Apple will change it in the future to show the actual Fields in the message list.

I've seen something yesterday that says Airplay in control centre is only for Iphone 4S and onwards. It's frustrating when they take something away without any obvious reason. I'm going to change back to IOS6 until it's sorted out.
I also tried connecting to bluetooth and only once I'm connected does an icon show up in control centre. There's no direct way to connect to a device from control centre on the Iphone 4 from the looks of it.

I don't really understand what you are asking. There is no iTunes Player. iTunes on your computer is not the same as iTunes on your iPad/iPhone/iPod. On an iOS device, iTunes is just a store, where you buy music, rent or buy movies. The music you have in your iTunes library on your computer can be synced to your iPad and you choose what music you want to sync to your iPad while your iPad is connected to your computer in iTunes. When you are not connected to your computer via iTunes, any music you did not sync to your iPad will not be viewable in iTunes, thus it can't be played because you did not sync it to your iPad. I don't I can make this any clearer.........

Well then it is somewhere on one of your Home pages or in a Folder:
Do a spotlight search to see if it accidently got moved into a Folder: Swipe down in the center of the screen to bring up the Spotlight search and type in iTunes. If it is in a folder, the folder name will show up to the right.
If it is not in a folder, but shows up on the Spotlight search, then you need to look at each Home screen to see if you can find where it got moved to.
Finally, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout, which will reorganize all of your icons so that the original Apple core apps are on the first Home screen as they were originally. Of course, if you have a lot of app icons that you have set up on specific Home screens you would have to move them all back to where you wanted them. But that should put the iTunes icon back on the first Home screen.

You don't need to install iTunes for the purchase history. You can see it in your iPad (iTunes > Purchased), but you need to install it if you want the order numbers
