Why can't iPod Touch 2nd Generation play html5 video?

I have just upgraded my 2nd iPod Touch's OS 3.1.3 to iOS4, but it can't play html5 video on iPad-ready sites like (http://tv.robbreport.com/). My iPhone 3GS and iPad can play html5 videos on this website smoothly.

I'd like to report further that after changing the wallpaper the iPod Touch has somehow stopped being able to play either video or audio.

No. iOS devices do not support Flash.

Also try manually placing the iPod in Recovery Mode and try to restore.

How many times can a iPod Touch 2nd Generation be connected to various PC?

I am thinking of upgrading my laptop to a Windows 7 laptop, just need to know if there is a limitation to how many times I can connect the above to PC based laptops?

No. But you can only synce with one computer/iTunes library but you can manage music and videos among different computers

Why Can't I put my Ipod Touch 2nd generation into recovery mode?

I have an ipod touch 2nd generation. I set a passcode on the ipod and then i forgot it. i tried everything and nothing worked and eventually it got locked fully and says "connect to itunes" on it. This is a problem because i no longer have the computer that i last synced to. i have a new laptop now and i threw away the old one.
I know how to fix it. I just have to put it into recovery mode and then restore it.
For some reason, i can't put it into recovery mode. I tried all different methods.

i tried a couple more but i lost the links of them.
when i try to do the part of recovery mode where you have to start up the ipod. it doesn't go into recovery mode. it just starts up and pops up on itunes saying i have to unlock the ipod in order for the device to connect to Itunes!

You can update it to 4.2.1
Open itunes, connect ipod. If there is an update available, then it will prompt you to update.

The 2G can only go as high as 4.2.1
Many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Sounds like you actually have a 1st generation as those cannot update beyond iOS 3.1.3.

What exactly happens when you try to update the iPod? What does the error message say?
Also, are you sure yo have a 2G iPod?

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

I added the song "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" by Boston by going to the iTunes Music Store and purchasing it as a ringtone. If you do it from your computer you have to sync it to your iPod Touch. Then in the alam sounds panel there is a place for "purchased" Your song should appear there.

All you can do is get a newer model iPod. The 2G can only go as high as 4.2.1. Its hardare does not support a higher iOS version
