I am having a Mac Mini, iPad, iPhone and Apple TV. Currently i am using 2 HDMI cables 1 between TV and Mac Mini and 2nd between TV and Apple TV. Seems like If i toggle between iPad / iPhone display via apple TV and Mac Mini display via apple TV; it becomes an issue.

Toggle how? What are you doing? Why do you have the MacMini connected to the TV? That is the whole point of AppleTV. It is a simple way ( in therory ) to get your content to your TV without having to plug your computer in to your TV.

I am in the process of upgrading my PC most likely to a Mac product. With the non-server version of Mac OS X, can I turn off the monitor connected to a Mac Mini and use it as a streaming server? Or I have to get the server version of OS X to do that?

I plan to run Logitech Media Server on the Mac to stream music to players. Each player interacts with the Logitech Media Server to select songs to stream. When I turn on a player, it will wake up the computer from the sleep mode.
Currently, this Logitech Media Server runs on a Windows Vista machine and it will keep the PC from entering sleep mode while playing the songs. After I play the last song, the PC will start the idle count down and then enter into sleep mode.

I have recently been bought an iPad mini- and lately I have been trying to download apps but it just says 'waiting'. I have tried turning the device on and off again, deleting the app and reinstalling it but still no luck!
Can someone suggest what I can do? Or is this just a generic problem with all the iPad mini's?

I haven't had any problems with the 2 mini's we have.
Are you trying to download OTA [over the air] or connected to a computer...try and switch it up if you haven't tried both options.
If that doesn't work, reboot your device by holding the lock button and home button simultaneously until you see the apple logo, then let go of the buttons and let it reboot. See if that helps.

I was having the same problem and I tried the following and now everything is working fine:

You do not have to load the airport utility.. a newer version is already included on the computer.
Just go to the applications / utility directory and start airport utility.

Unlike all other Macs which are capable of having an Airport card installed, the mini has no place for the card to be inserted, and no airport antenna already fitted. Thus to add airport to a G4 mini that doesn't have it already, you need the complete upgrade kit, which contains an airport card, a small 'riser' card that connects to the mini's logic board and into which the airport card is then fitted, plus an airport antenna. Actually the full kit also includes a bluetooth module and antenna to add that functionality too.
An airport extreme card on it's own will therefore have no place to connect to inside the mini, nor an antenna to connect to it.

I recently downloaded a cd from the itunes store, the download is complete and the songs are on my iPod. Now everytime I pull up iTunes I have 13 new downloads but the songs are already downloaded. What country are you in ? Re-downloading music isn't currently possible in all countries (the record companies need to agree to it for each country). If you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded, then if the tracks are still in the store then they should show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.

Why can't itunes have DVD extras avaliable to download??

How come on every site out there that that makes movie available to download, there are not any extras or special features that are avaliable? I don't think i am a minority out there when i say that the only reson i buy DVDs is specifically for the extras or the commentaries, other wise i would just Nextflix them. So why can't itunes make them avaliable? Like if you buy the movie then they can have the commenary build in like as dvds have them build into the audio tracks. Or maybe the other extras can be a free extra dowload avaliave to people that purchase the movie. Otherwise i'm not paying $14.00 to download a movie that does not contain the special features that the DVD would have contained.

iTunes movie downloads only have what the studios allow.
I am sure that the studios make more money with DVD sales also , that could be why no extras in iTunes.
I won't download movies because of the low quality. A 2.5" screen for 2 hours, hahaha.

If you didn't make a back-up of your music/movie purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Products may only be downloaded once; after being downloaded, they cannot be replaced if lost for any reason.
