Why can't my Apple TV do anything even though its connected to my network?
I use a brand new time capsule and all of my other devices are working fine for streaming and such. The issue seamed to start with constant "buffering" pauses and now sometimes when I turn it on to try and figure out the issue, it only shows settings and computers. But other times it shows all the apps, and says that it is connected to my network with full strength, but then it can't connect to iTunes or anything. I can't even "reset" it. Thanks for any advice! I have had it now for a little over a year, and it has never acted this way. Most issues have been remedied by unplugging and letting it set for a bit before re-plugging it back in.
Hi from Perth. I am getting exactly the same problem. I've been using Apple TV for six months, updated software a couple of times, no problem, but suddenly today, it can't see the Internet any more. I've rebooted everything. Reset settings, pulled out plugs, no dice. I've made no changes whatsoever to any part of the setup.

So, this post, as well written as it is, went totally ignored by the HP personnel that are supposedto be "helping" us poor novices? WOW! No wonder this crap gets thrown out of the house so often.
I have two HP network printers. An HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m, and a HP Photosmart Premium C410a, and they are the most unreliable pieces of "equipment" that I have in my network. This is absolutely trhe crappiest bunch of junk on the market. The only thing worse than these "devices" is the support from HP for them.
I also have a HP Photosmart C5280 AIO, and a Deskjet D2345 Printer. I have little, to no, problems with these two. The "flagships" of my network imaging are the worst, of the worst. -

Why can't I update to Firefox 4 even though I'm running Mac OS 10.5.8?
The site lists on its system requirements that I have either Mac OS 10.5.x or 10.6.x. I have 10.5.8 but the site says my operating system isn't compatible with Firefox 4. Am I overlooking something obvious here? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
Firefox 4+ versions aren't compatible with Power PC Mac's.
For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4+ versions, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 . <br />

My sister has an iPad and an HP printer. She cant' print from her iPad even though a genius at the Apple Store sold the combination to her with the idea that it would be easy to do. Instead, I have to go to her place with my MacBook, she sends me an email, and I hook up my laptop to her printer to print what she needs. Why can't the Apple geniuses come up with a USB cable and an OS update to make it easy and NOT SO FRUSTRATING to print from the iPad?

Credit cards do need to be from the same country as your account, which may or may not apple, but if you're visiting from another country and trying to use, for example, a UK card in the US app store, it won't work.
Could you have typo'd a number? Or could the card be expired?

I have our music collection on iTunes Match for my PC, ipad and iphone.
Can I share that music collection with my wife so she can play that with her iphone? Even though she has a different Apple ID from me?Her iPhone will need to be set up to iTunes Match using your Apple ID to be able to share music via iTunes Match. Otherwise you'll have to download the music to your computer and then copy those tracks into her iTunes library, assuming hers is separate.

I need a data transfer from a 2005 Macbook to my new one (2010). I damaged the old laptop and although it wouldn't turn on, when I brought it to the Apple Store they ascertained that the hard drive was still intact. They said I needed to purchase a one to one membership to get a data transfer, which I did, but somehow forgot about it and now it's expired. Is there any way I can still get the data from the old hard drive transferred to my new macbook? Can Apple provide this service even though my one to one membership has expired?
Go to OWC where you can purchase a suitable enclosure for the drive. You will need an enclosure for a SATA notebook drive. This is assuming the old computer is a MacBook and not an iBook. I make this observation because the first MacBook was released in 2006, not in 2005. If yours is a 2005 model then it's an iBook and uses an ATA interface.
Install the old drive in the enclosure, connect to your new computer. You can then transfer your data. -
