Why can't open .swf file in my SE browser?

I have a K610i with me. I just exported a simple browser
flash lite 1.1 file from my flash 8, uploaded to server. Then I
enter the URL in the K610i browser :
http://www.xxxxxxx.xxxxxx/test.swf
, but it respone to me "file type not supported".
(I am sure i can open see the swf file by enter URL in
browser in a Sharp handset.)
Is it true that SE K610i really support browser flash lite?

Apple dropped playback support for .swf formats in QuickTime almost ten years ago.
Adobe Flash Player is the only way to view them.

It dint cross my mind, when i installed win 7 ultimate x86 2 weeks ago and installed adobe cs4 master suite, to check whether i can open swf files or not. I just like always, downloaded ADM, and installed Flash player 10.1. The web videos were all working fine, except on facebook, where the videos and uploader keeps prompting me to get latest flash player EVEN AFTER I INSTALLED 10.1 version thrice. But i dint care abt it since i dont watch videos on facebook anyways.
The issue is about swf files. Everything regarding to flash, even flash animations, work perfectly well on the internet, whether it be firefox or any other, but today i was designing a photo gallery for my portfolio, and pressed test movie to see if it was looking good. Everything worked in the test movie.
But when i open, some tutorial included swf's or my own created swf's, the famous error comes which states"WINDOWS CANT OPEN THIS FILE. TO OPEN THIS KIND OF FILE WINDOWS NEED TO KNOW WHAT PROGRAM TO USE TO OPEN IT". When i click "select program from installed programs", i cant find Flash Player anywhere on my pc. Now wtf am i supposed to do if my swf's cant open (not on the internet) but on my pc. Please tell me. don't suggest uninstalling cs4 or flash player and reinstalling, because i already did that countless times. Should i get olders flash player versions?
Please don't tell me i will have to reinstall windows for i then i will have to reinstall so much.

guys! Big news, somehow, i just uninstalled flash cs4 and all the flash components along with plugin and activex. Then restarted pc. Then reinstalled flash cs4, then downloaded flash player and installed it. and VOILA! It works now. i can easily open all the swf files now. No more need for the solution. although you can look for solution if in future someone else acquires the problem

Did you see issue in opening pdf in browser or in Application?

Can I open Postscript Files directly in a browser?

Hi all,
the Acrobat plugin allows me to open pdf files directly in a browser. Acrobat can convert Postscript files to pdfs and then display them- but can I just get this in one step and display ps files directly in my browser?
We are using an electronic logbook that contains hundreds of images in .ps format and it would be extremely helpful not to open an external program all the time.

No Adobe software does this, and I'm not aware of any other software that provides a PostScript browser plug-in.
You could use the watched folder in Distiller to convert a folder full of PS files to PDF if that helps.

Please please help - i can't open swf files

I have downloaded Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Shockwave Player to play some swf files I have downloaded. These files still say that Windows can't open them though and I don't know why. I've tried uninstalling reinstalling etc but the computer doesn't seem to know the Flash Player is there.

There is no file association on windows 8 to open up swf files.
I don't like opening them up in my browser, is there a standalone app i can install?

I've spent a couple of weeks trying to open an swf file, but it won't play no matter what i've tried! When I drag the file to the browser window, a small box with shapes in it appears in the corner. Can somebody please tell me how to open this file?

What do you mean in terms of opening an swf file? If you want to play it, as long as you have a Flash player that is suitable for it you should only have to doubleclick the file name to get it to play.

I create virtual tours and have used quicktime up until now. I've recently converted to flash but when I create a .swf file and save it to my desktop it wont open. I have 2 windows open up (both blank white windows) and one seems to be the actual flash file window but the other seems to be something to do with Hewlit- packard?
Anyway, I cant open the actual files but if I then place that file into a HTML page it works fine.
Another thing I don't understand is that it saves the file with a blue (macromedia??) flash logo instead of a red Adobe flash logo.....is that right?
Can anyone help me? I'm using a mac with snow leopard installed. I rang apple who ensured all my software is up to date but he said it's up to Adobe from now on.
Can anyone help me out here?

First I would try closing the app from multitasking and then launching it again. To do that, double tap the Home button and then swipe up on the app to close it completely. If that does not work, then I would restart your iPhone.

A Cloud subscription SHOULD always show you the most recent updates, so you may then choose to do the install

Can't set flash player as default app to open SWF files on mac

This is the weirdest thing. Somehow the default application
to open SWF files on my mac has changed from the Flash Player to a
random Mac Projector file (i.e. presentation.app) that I published
from Flash for another project. So whenever I double click an SWF
it opens both the file I clicked and the other projector file. They
are in separate windows but if I close one of them they both close.
To try to fix this I went to my SWF hit cmd+i for the info,
changed the Open with application to the Flash Player and hit
change all. After I close the info box and try to open the file,
the same thing happens. It reverts back to opening with the random
projector. So I tried deleting the projector to see what would
happen and instead of opening in the regular flash player it went
and found another random projector file to be the default
application. WTF is going on?!

I wish I knew that has happened to me before as well. I never
found a solution. But eventually it seemed to go away on its
own.

First , I ask patient because I am writing from Brazil and my English is not that good, but for some reason I can t open a Keynote 3 file. I worked for hours in this file and I saved and It was ok. This is something that is being reported but, due to the sensitive nature of most presentations, there's not a lot of information on what is causing the problem and how it can be avoided. The one common thread is that the "problem" files have always started in PowerPoint.
For now, my suggestion to anyone would be to rework the presentation in Keynote instead of importing. For now, importing MAY save some initial time, but when you can't use the saved file, you'll have lost all the time you save.
