Why can't Real Time Workshop create a model DLL?

When trying to create a model DLL in Real-time Workshop I get the flowing error:
Error using ==> RTW.makertw.make_rtw
Error using ==> tlc_c
Error using ==> tlc_c>InvokeTLC
Error File: C:\SimulationInterfaceToolkit\ModelInterface\basic.tlc Line: 388 Column: 45
Attempt to call a non-function value: SLibGetBlockPath
Installed software : LabView 7.1, Matlab release 14 s1. Real-time Workshop 6.1, and Visual Studio Pro 6.0

This is a new install and Im only trying to get things setup properly. The MDL file is a simple MDL created to test out SIT. It was taken from the example in the SIT User Guide. I have installed the following software:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Version 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 2)
MATLAB Version 7.0.1.24704 (R14) Service Pack 1
MATLAB Version 7.0.1 (R14SP1)
Simulink Version 6.1 (R14SP1)
Real-Time Workshop Version 6.1 (R14SP1)
Microsoft Visual Studio Pro 6.0
LabView 7.1
LabView Real Time 7.1
Simulation Interface Toolkit 2.0.3
I will include the MDL file. Is there something in the setup I might have missed?

  • How can I put C files gave me from Matlab Simulink Real Time Workshop in a CIN?

I'm doing a turbine simulation, and I've already done it in Matlab Simulink Real Time Workshop. It gave me files .c, and I want to use them to run the same simulation on a PCI 7030/6040 using LabView RT 5.1. I'm using the CINs. My problem is that I'm able to have .lsb files, but them don't work....I mean I have as output the same result 0(zero). What can I do for solving my problem?
    Thanks in advance!!

  • Why can't iMovie on iOS create portrait movies?

If I take a video on my iPhone in portrait mode and then import it into iMovie for editing, iMovie always crops it.
Why can't iMovie on iOS create portrait videos?
    Splice can create portrait videos!!!
    Martin

I don't know why, as we are all users here no one will really know why.
I assume it's because TVs only play wide video.
But if you really want to see it in future I suggest you tell Apple:

If enough peoploe ask they will change it.

  • Why is the Real-Time Idea Exchange completely ignored?

Just looked at the LabVIEW Real-Time Idea Exchange and noticed that only one idea is marked completed, and two more (both posted in 2009, nearly 5 years ago) are "In Development." Those ideas aren't even the top-kudoed ones. NI - why ask for ideas for improvements, and then not implement any of them? (Yes, I have a personal interest here - the second-most kudoed idea in the real-time area is one of mine.)

First off let me say thanks to you and all of the Idea Exchange contributors. The whole purpose of the Idea Exchange is for you, the users of the NI Platform, to bring your considerable experience to the table as we continue adding features and functionality to the NI Platform. Your passion is one of the primary forces that causes the NI Platform to grow and change in varous ways so that the application challenges of scientists and engineers all over the world can be solved.
There are many user suggestions across the whole Idea Exchange for us to weigh when considering how to allocate our development resources. We try to judiciously consider which ideas will have the biggest impact on the NI Platform users, and as a result we often have to say "no" or "wait" to some ideas so we can say "yes" to others. You're definitely correct that the statuses need to be updated and I'll be doing so in the near future. Though this may give the impression of being ignored, I want to assure you that the ideas are read and evaluated by the R&D and Product Marketing departments with careful thought and deliberate intent.
We hope that events such as NIWeek bolster your confidence in the progress of the NI Platform as you see the new hardware and software features being introduced. Though you may not see an immeadiate reward for your dilligence in suggesting ideas, please continue submitting your ideas. The long term effect will be a powerful platform of products designed to meet the community's needs. Thank you for your continued support and engagement.

  • [beninner] Why can see two way to create account

    Hello all!!!
I just settup my first server OS X 10.6 and just fater the installation >I choosed to setup un directory.
That server will run 3 services : files and printer, directory and calendar.
Afrter the installation finished, I can see two window
    1) System preferences
    2) Server preferences
in both I can create new accounts
Could tell me which is the difference??
Morever, I also can see Workgroup manager from where I can create account
In fact there are three way to create and manage users.
But from which will an directory user? (I guess from "Worgroup manager")
Finnaly, I install OD X on a 640G Hard disk, but /home must be in a different Hard disk. I suppose I will settup the path of /home from "workgroup manager"?
many thank for all of you explication. this will be very helpfully

System Preference create user inside the Local Directory /Local
Server Preferences and Workgroup Manager (WGM) are the tools that can be used to create/ edit Directory Users.
Directory Users can be in form of Open Directory or other type (e.g. Active Directory (Windows Based Directory service)
WGM can also be used to create and edit Local users.
In terms of scope from smallest to largest
System Preferences < Server Preferences < WGM

  • Why can't Lightroom open or create a catalog on a network drive?

I just filled up my external drive and spent over $1300 on a Drobo NAS to find out Lightroom can't open or create a catalog on a network drive? EPIC FAIL!!!!
How do I store over 8 TB of catalogs on my NAS and still be able to access them? Do I need to copy the catalogs and pictures from a local drive to a NAS, then copy them back to my local drive if I ever want to use them?
I can't believe this is the case. There really is no reason you shouldn't be able to store a catalog on a network drive. How do I fix or get around this?

Yes, I really have 8 TB of photography. Its from the past 10 years of dozens of worldwide photography jobs. Granted, not all of it is in Lightroom yet, but much of it is. I used Aperture until Apple abandoned all of its professional software development and have been moving to Lightroom for a while now. Aperture is able to use the NAS as a storage drive, no problem and it uses a database as well, so I really don't see why Lightroom can't do it.
I have an 8 TB Drobo connected by Firewire to my iMac and storing photos on it for Lightroom (and Aperture prior to that) and it works fine. But it's filling up and I wanted some archive storage so I didn't have to have Lightroom catalogs and Aperture libraries on it I really don't use on a regular basis. So I got the Drobo FS800 loaded up with 12 TB of space as a network storage server to make sure everything is safely backed up. I am slowly converting my old Aperture libraries to Lightroom, one at a time as well as using Lightroom for everything I have done for about the last two years.
But it is completely impractical to have to store the pictures and catalog on the NAS Drobo, then have to copy it all over to a local drive if I ever want to find a photograph in on a Lightroom catalog. It will takes hours if not a day to do that, just so I can open it. So I may see if I can store the pictures on the NAS Drobo but keep the catalog on the local Drobo. But I hate the idea of not keeping everything together. It something happens and the shots getting separated from the catalog, I have no idea what will happen or if it will be easy to re-connect the media. I also want to keep a backup of the catalog, but I think the built-in catalog vaults will do that.
But again, Apple's Aperture could keep everything together and has not problem pulling it off a NAS, local drive or anywhere. Really hard to imagine why Adobe can't do the same thing, especially since Aperture is overall so obsolete in every other way to Lightroom by now.  Guess I need to try a few things and see if I can make this work. But really not comfortable splitting catalogs up on different drives than the picture files are located.

  • Why can't I change the Created Date on a file using Terminal?

I bought a used Contour helmet camera to take pictures of the kids while they're skiing, and I cannot access the camera itself to change the clock in it (USB port is broken).
I get videos from it just fine, but every time I remove the battery the date/time on the camera resets to January 2008, so my skiing videos end up someplace completely different from what I expect in iMovie.
I thought I could change the Created Date with Touch in Terminal, but it only handles the Modified Date.  I know I can purchase File Date Changer 5 from the App Store to do this, but I'd like to know why I can't do it in Terminal.
Anybody know?  Or know of a different way that I COULD do it in Terminal?

pessex wrote: Anybody know?  Or know of a different way that I COULD do it in Terminal?
Don't know about Terminal, but, because you are using 10.9.x and iMovie, try the iMovie method:

  • Why can I not find files created with x-rite software in color sync folder?

Creating printing profiles for different papers. They are being stored in a hidden folder. Why?

I can only find two library folders out of the three that you are speaking of. It is my understanding that in 10.7 and 10.8 they changed where and access to certian files.
I'm just really stumped why it would hide files that are being used by more than application when I can put downloaded images in colorsync folder and they are fine.
Thank you for your help and suggestions

  • Why can't a choose to create a Windows 7 install disk on my 2010 macbook air?

It is a 2010 macbook air, with lion 10.7.2 and bootcamp 4.0.1. the option to create a windows 7 install disk is greyed out, i have a trial version from microsoft website, but i also have a downloaded windows 7 both of them are .iso, i also have a 4gb usb in. could someone explain to me how to fix this?

    You might follow this procedure...
    http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-20020513-285/install-win-7-on-macbook-air-fr om-a-usb-drive/
Note that to start the procedure, you will need a Windows computer to create the USB install stick.
I have an iMac with Windows 7 running via BootCamp, but I really don't like the BootCamp setup mainly because it's necessary to reboot the computer every time you switch from one OS to the other.
A few days ago I got a new MBA 128GB model which I decided to put Windows on via Parallels.  I have an old stand-alone DVD drive I plugged into the MacAir which immediately recognized the DVD drive.  I then installed Parallels on the MacAir.  When that was finished, it prompted me for a Windows installation disk, which I then put in the DVD drive.
Away it went with very little requests for inputs from me.  In a short time, I had Windows 7 up and running.  So far it looks like a great setup.  With a few other programs, the MacAir reports that it still has 88GB free out of the 128 GB SSD.

  • Why can't I click on "Create AAC New Version"??

I'm trying to create a ringtone on the latest iTunes... but when I go to File > Create A New Version it gives me options that are "un-clickable"
    It says
    Create iPod or iPhone Version
Create iPad or Apple TV Version
    Create ACC Version
But I can't click any of them for some reason?
And its not a song from iTunes itself, so its not ACC protected or anything. Its only 21 seconds.
Any solutions to this problem ?

with your Itunes open and playing, select view from the task bar, click visuilzar> there are abunch of different choices

  • HT203180 Why can't I click on Create iPod or iPhone version in Advanced in iTunes

I tried multiple times but it will not let me click on it. The option is light gray unlike the other options which are black and can be pressed on.

You cannot mve the songs manually from iphone to your computer.
The way you do this is exactly what you did :  File>Transfer Purchases
