Why can't remove document issuer OWNER right

when testing adrms sdk 2.1 , i notice msdn say application should explict grant OWNER rights to owner, but i find document issuer always have OWNER right even if not granted.
Then i do the following test
1) not specify owner and owner rights when set license property
2) specify issuer's mail as to
IPC_LI_OWNER, and owner only has READ right
3) specify another one's email as IPC_LI_OWNER
4) specify IPC_USER_ID_NULL as set IPC_LI_OWNER
After issue, i use IpcAccessCheck to check rights of issuer, i found issuer always has all rights. It
means there is
no way to remove OWNER right from issuer？Is that right？

Also can you please tell whether you are getting Acrobat specific combine and Edit options in the right - click menu?
If yes, are they working or nothing happens on clicking them?
If possible, can you also try to restart your system and then try Right-click -> combine files in Acrobat?

If by "contextual menu" you mean Right Clicking, then Yes, I now can highlight text (say a name in Address Book), right click it, and Spotlight searches for it.
There is a little triangle next to the word Searching in Sys Pref; make sure it's pointing down and opens the sub-choices below it, i.e. Look up in Dictionary, Search with Google, and Spotlight.
Let me know if this doesn't do it for you.

Why can't Apple ever get upgrades right?

More a vent than anything else, but feel free to jump in.
I tried upgrading to iOS 5 tonight, and like every single other uprgade on every single apple device I own and there are a few, it fails. It fails for some just plain stupid reasons that I as an old IT guy just don't understand. To wit:
- Why does the upgrade have to talk to an upgrade server to verify things so often?
Once to verify the checksum on the upgrade file, once after it's applied. The system should never need to call back after that, everything (restore of files, apps etc) should be handled locally. No reason for Apple to verify them, in fact I should be able to do the enotre procedure offline.
- Why can I not download the upgrade on any install of iTunes vs just one?
It's upgrading, not adding or removing anything, so why do I have to clog up a system all night because the family iDevices were all connected here? But that's a whole other issue that's been flogged to death here.
- Why can't we download the files and upgrade the devices offline? See the above question as well.
I'm guessing that given the poor communication with apple's systems and the beating they're probably taking tonight with the verification traffic, someone's got to be thinking about this?
- Why does EVERY change want to delete everything on the device?
So stupid, not even going there. I have to delete eveything on my iPod to add ONE book? Really?
I keep hoping that some time they'll get it right, but now that Steve is gone (RIP good sir) I'm guessing not so much....

Even if you update a Microsoft product it too has to be verified by the host as a legitimate program that can be signed off as genuine. Things happen, though Apple's upgrading is far better than others. Getting frustrated with it only makes things worse as you can do things without knowing you clicked the wrong button or forgot to press a button.

Can't open document in InfoView, Rights not set properly?

I think somewhere in one of BO's security layers I'm missing something...
As a general user, with access level: Full Control, I cannot open a document in infoView...
I get a Cannot open document (Error: INF)
In the logs i find stuff like:

As an administrator I can open the document in InfoView... Bot the general user and teh administrator have Full Controll access level on the folder containing the document...
Any Ideas ?

By the way, when i create a report and I try to open it as the general user, I get a Session is closed message... Again, it works as administrator... What am I doing wrong?

Its definitely a rights issue... Migrated security is a spiderweb...
I've re-imported everything without the security settings... Where do I start, giving people rights to the reports they need to see??? Don't have any knowledge on Universe security and I think that is the problem...
Can someone post me all necesary rights one must have to refresh data in a report? It would be nice if you also mention the collection and the type besides the right name...

WHY CAN'T I COMBINE FILES WITH RIGHT CLICK ANY MORE? HOW LONG AM I EXPECTED TO WAIT BEFORE SWITCHING TO A COMPETITOR'S PRODUCT?

I used to be able to select a set of documents in the Windows file explorer, right click these highlighted documents, and then right click-->Combine Files in Acrobat.
This used to open the combine files page in Acrobat and I would be able to combine the files directly.
Now when I use right click to combine files in Acrobat it simply opens Acrobat. If I want to combine the files I have to go to Acrobat, select the option, and then navigate to the files.
This similar issue exists for edited PDFs. I used to be able to right click a document and select "Edit with Adobe Acrobat" and the document would open when this option was selected. Now if this option is selected it opens Adobe Acrobat and I have to navigate to any files I want to use.
How do I use the right click features in the file explorer? These features don't work any more and they used to.

How can I remove the previous owners apple i.d. from my app store?

Just recently, after 8 months of ownership, my App Store has started to cancel my updates in favour of asking the computers previous owner to log into the app store to update. Is there any way I can remove their account from my App Store? It's getting annoying!

Were there apps that the previous owner bought from the Mac App Store on the Mac when you got it? They should have been removed before passing the Mac to you. At this point those are pirated apps and they can only be updated using the previous owners Apple ID. You should remove all of them from the Mac and buy them using your own Apple ID. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

Why can't Siri take any requests right now?

For the past Day, Siri has been ******* me off. It flat out will not work.
I ask it simple things like "Weather" or "What time is it" or what 344+33 is and I get this every time: "I'm really sorry about this, but I can't take any requests right now." OR "There's something wrong, and I can't answer your questions right now"
Voice to text will not work.
I did everything, I power cycled the phone, I tried on Wifi and 3G, i turnd Siri off, then back on. I reset the phone. It doesn't seem to be the device, it seems to be the service.
Now I want to know what IDIOT thought it would be a good idea to make Siri, ENTIRELY relient on Apple's servers. It's BS that this app cannot function, even in it's simplest form of dialing a number without bouncing it off of an Apple Server. This app has one job, and it fails.
Is anyone else having Siri issues, and what is Apple going to do about this?

Yes having problems in Californa yesterday and today. When done speaking, Siri's little ... things bounce back and forth like saying "What?" So somethings not working right. You would think after having it out for so long and making it a Sales Feature, they would not say its in beta anymore. Oh well. I'm sure I can work without it but have enjoyed using it in the past. Hope it is repaired soon.

Why can I only update my iPod right after restarting the computer?

Hi I have the latest iTunes software (6.0.4) and I use a windows XP operating system. Half the time when i plug in my ipod my computer says that "another user on the computer is using the itunes software and to ask them to exit." and whenever it says this it wont update my ipod. I have no idea why it says that because none of the other users on my computer ever open itunes or any related software. If someone could tell me what i could do to fix this problem than i would appreciate it very much.

Fast user switching in Windows XP is not supported
It all has to do with what account starts up the iTunesHelper.exe, which is used to recognize attached iPods.
Task Manager (ctl-alt-del)
Processes tab
Click on the checkbox to show processes for all users
Click on the ImageName column to sort alphabetically
iTunesHelper.exe and iTunes.exe need to be showing your user account.
iPodService.exe needs to be showing SYSTEM - this is what updates the iPod after it is recognized.

Why did Word on Office 2013 REMOVE Auto Correct from Right-Click Context Menu??

I normally don't rant, but this is a killer feature removal, and the reason given is for aesthetics - 'Removal of clutter" is how it's worded here:

Microsoft used to be about allowing users to customize the OS and apps however they want. This was one reason I have always preferred Windows over Mac. There are 5 ways to do any one thing, and you can customize it to do it however you want. It's all about
user choice. Please don't go the way of Apple and force users into the way that you *think* we should do things.

While I whole heartedly agree with this suggestion, if you look through this blog about the design decisions that went into the 2007 ribbon:

You'll see that one of the considerations of the ribbon was to ELIMINATE/REDUCE customization because it was costing large corporate customers too much time/money to support their users with 2003 customized menu/toolbars. In other words, the ribbon
was intentionally built as a fixed design so that average user cannot change it. The QAT was an afterthought, a sop, to allow users minimal customization.
They found that the 2007 lock down was too much of a "good thing", too much like the good old "IBM 360 green screen" (even if most people don't recognize the reference), so in 2010 they
re-introduced limited Ribbon customization within the UI.
But you still can't customize the default tabs. And to add injury to insult, if you do want to customize a default tab and go to the effort of trying to recreate the default tabs and groups
within the Ribbon UI, you'll eventually find that YOU CAN'T'! There is no way inside the UI to force the buttons to layout the same way! AHHH!

EXPERTS have had the option of creating custom Ribbons/tabs by editing XML, but that is pretty serious programming, out of scope for 99% of users.
The "solution" to the problem was too simple. Just add an option to allow users to turn on the old menu UI. Even if it had been buried as a registry hack, the people who really wanted it would have learned about it. Then MS could have collected statistics
on usage that would have "proved" that the menu was preferred over the ribbon. The thing is, if the ribbon was defaulted "out of the box", over time people would eventually all switch over to it. Simply because it was the default, because MS only produced
new training material referring for the ribbon
Now, I'll concede that the ribbon really may be more "intuitive", but only for new users. For long time users the change is very jarring.
They made the same choice with Windows 8. In the last Windows 8 consumer Preview there was a registry hack to bypass the Start Screen. I learned about it in July or August. But MS was so sure the Start screen/metro was the only way to go they
rushed out a Windows Update to eliminate that registry entry. And it was eliminated from the RTM version.
WHY?
Why did they remove the user's right to chose the UI that worked best for them? I don't know.
