Why can't type Chinese character in Safari in XP pro?

I can't type any chinese carcater in Safari 3.0, whatever use Microsoft pingyin input mode or other input mode.

I think this is a known bug in the beta software which will presumably be fixed in the final version.

Updated my iPhone 5S to ios 8.1.1. Since then, I am not able to type in chinese & japanese character.
Although I can select the input language from the globe, I type in the 'pinyin' but it shows only the alphabets that I type, not chinese characters. Same thins happens when I tried to type Japanese language.

Reset all settings.
Reselect keyboard that I needed. (English, Chinese, Japanese, Emoji)
English and Emoji are ok.
Chinese character is ok. BUT it is ok for just a while. After i tried to change to other language and change back to Chinese, it has same problem again. Japanese 100% can't.

Kind of struggling whether should i buy a wireless keyboard for my ipad air 2 as i may have lotta word job related to Chinese and French, and i know that French is okay with the English keyboard, at least much eaiser than typing Chinese characters.
So the real concern is, can i type Chinese with the wireless keyboard without any problem?
I've seen some solutions (all didn't mention if it has been proved yet or not so i automatically assume they are all just beautiful hypotheses) posted in the community claiming you just need go to settings then select the international language you wanna use, and you will be all set (in both virtual and external keyboard)----is that true??? Pleeeease help, thousands of thanks

I understand that you would like to use the Apple Wireless Keyboard with English letters to type characters in different languages. This can be done by changing the import sources to type in other languages, including Chinese. For information on this process, please refer to the attached article.

DSO content can't display Chinese character

Hello experts,
I extract data from non-sap system (non-unicode) to BW DSO (7.0 unicode).
The DTP, data extraction and the activation all work fine.
However, the content of the DSO can't display the Chinese character.
Is there any setting I miss?
How can it display Chinese character as the data in source system?
Any information is very appreciated.

Hi,
Make sure Chinese Language Patch applied on BW system. You can see Chinese does not mean Chinese Language Patch applied.
However, even if Language Patch is not applied, you still can see Chinese in reports via Portal.

Don't know! You'll have to give us more details of what's happening when you try. Can you print other documents OK? When you try to print, does the printer icon appear in the dock - click on it and see if there are any printer messages.

How can I display Chinese Character correctly in JSP

Dear Expert,Now I develop web application which using CR report, the development tool is IBM RAD(rational) and the database is DB2 UTF-8. Because need user to input something in JSP, so the programmer use "GB2312" to convert to insert into the database. But when I create the crystal report and view in the web, the Chinese character can't disply correctly, like "???????", even I formated the font in report, doesn't work too.And I set the report JSP charset to "GB2312" or "UTF-8", both of them failed. Hi Steven, It sounds like you are on the right track to get the Chinese data to appear up correctly in the report. Can you tell me if you are using the JSF viewer or the JSP viewer?From what the developers are telling me the following should work:For JSP viewers to set content type correctly you can either use <%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8" %> Or response.setContentType("text/html;charset=UTF-8âu20AC) or simply call viewer.setOwnPage(true); if it not necessary to blend with other pages. For JSF viewer the third option is not available.What does your JSP page code look like? Also, what does the output look like?Finally, one last thing is to ensure that the font you are using in the report is available to the engine at runtime. This will mean that it wll need to be installed on the application server where your JSP page is running. Give this a try and let me know what you find. Boom here i back. First of all i have to say that Amazon Prime delivery speed is aaaaawesome! Placed my order yesterday and got my new shiny wireless keyboard right in TODAY'S MORNING! Thanks Amazon.
And switch back to the topic. So thrilled to unwrap my package and write down this review here----Yes, absoluately this keyboard can type Chinese, just tried on it and received a perfect performance along with a fluent typing experience. Well, actually, it can undertake all different languages that preset in the ipad software without any problem, thus the language versions provided to the keyboard is just a matter of layouts, which is absoluately not relevant, like Tom said, for what language you can type.
There's one thing need to be mentioned though, if your keyboard is an English version, when you wanna type accented letters like French or special symbols, you may have to memorize some certain keys and then press the "option" button at the same time to bring up the hidden stuff you want since there's nothing but just English letters printed on each key.
Furthermore, the design is simple but stylish, super thin and feather-light, always ready to go, make a fantastic pair with my ipad and now they are officially couples kkkkkkkkkk. Have to admit that Apple always make good-looking products.
Regarding to the battery life, ummmmmmmm...have no idea right now as it's a brandnew boy, but referring to most of other folks, let's say the battery can last for months even with an everyday-use, i hope so....Nous allons attendre et voir !
As for those who don't know how to tell the keyboard is on/off, just tried on mine, to turn it off, simply press the big home botton on the side and hold for seconds till the green lil light goes out (usually takes 3 seconds or so), if you wanna double check, just hit a key randomly and you will notice that no further letters appear on your screen due to the disconnection of the keyboard.
So, all in all, if you like this keyboard and you are a heavy word job person, go for it, no concern leave behind. (Apple should really pay me advertising fees for all these words and i'm tired out for typing already kkkkkkkk)

How can show the Chinese character in Oracle Report Graph on RedHat Linux?

The OS is RedHat Linux and I set NLS="SIMPLIED CHINESE_CHINA.ZHS16GBK" in %ORA_AS_HOME%/bin/reports.sh
The report file is a JSP Web Report, including Chinese character in web HTML text and graph.
Now Chinese character in HTML text can be displayed correctly but the Chinese character in graph can not be display.
Anybody can help me? thanks a lot.

The report server is 9i and it is running in Oracle AS 904.
And set NLS_LANG="SIMPLIED CHINESE_CHINA.ZHS16GBK" in %ORA_AS_HOME%/bin/reports.sh

Seems that you've multilingual operating syste on the device.
You receive emails with incorrect on with non-supported encoding.
If you receive emails via corporate Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) - ask the BES administrator to check this issue.
If you receive emais via your Wireless Provider - contact your wireless provider support.

Can't type foreign character

I need to type chinese characters for work at times, and had no issues with that on my iMac. But suddenly, one day, I was unable to. When I click on the input menu on my menu bar, only "U.S." was available, the other 2 "ITABC" and "Pinyin" were in a faded color and I wasn't able to click on them. What is wrong? What should I do?

no i didn't. in fact, under System Preferences > International > Input Menu... the respective languages that i need are still checked. i've tried resetting it, but the problem still persists
