Why can't you just fix firefox so it doesn't have all these pop up msgs like a script has stopped or my mouse just freezes up and geesh, I started using google

So many times i get this in the title bar "not responding", avg pops up and say's there is a of memory being used like 270mb by facebook, i use pop up blockers, do not track me add ons anything to speed page loading, I repeatedly get different script msg pop ups, it's angering me so much just trying to surf facebook! If i click on a link, to go off of facecbook to read an article it takes for ever for all the crap to load banner adds or what have you that I don't know what to do, then I goto your help section and its like geesh I have to be a IT dude to figure all this out. I gave up IE many years ago because of security reasons, came to firefox and loved it, but anymore its a battle. Can someone there make a easy way to fix all this crap? Thank You

I own PSE 7 on disc. The laptop it was loaded on died. My new laptop doesn't have an optical drive so I downloaded PSE 7 from the Adobe site. It downloaded fine but I cannot start using it until I enter a S/N. The S/N on the disc box doesn't work.

Those links weren't particularly helpful to me. They convinced me to install the drivers for my USB 2.0 card, but that didn't make a difference. Still no OS X without a PRAM reset if I've dared to venture into OS 9.
It's always been my understanding that an unblessed System Folder will not be selectable in OS 9's Startup Disk control panel. My folders are blessed and healthy. Of course I'm running 9.2.2, as stated in my first message. I also frequently verify and repair my disks and permissions.
I did a verbose startup of OS X, and noticed something funny about "ATY...too old." Perhaps this problem is related? I ventured into my system.log file and there it was, repeated over and over, everytime I've booted this computer:

Anyone know how to interpret that? Is it related to my problem? I googled it, and all I found was a web board of people arguing over whether the Apple installed stock ATI Rage video card that came in the G3's is appropriate for Panther. The Ye's have it as far as I'm concerned...as long as I leave OS 9 alone, my video is fine on this computer!

Why can't you guys keep FireFox from crashing? I need this browser for my College Courses and this is making me angry because it's putting me behind.

It seems like every day I have to restart my computer because Firefox's consistency for staying up and running properly is a complete failure. This is unacceptable; I have College courses that I take online and every time the Firefox browser crashes I lose work and when I lose work I get bad grades in school because you have failed your duty to maintain a browser that you also had to earn a degree to get the job. I'm very distraught over this and I'm very close to using a new browser if you don't square this away like yesterday. Not only do I get bad grades I also have to pay the school back the money if I fail. If I fail this course because you didn't do your job I'm going to make you pay the school back for my trouble.

Could you spend a day using Firefox in its Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

Alternately, try a couple of the things Safe Mode does for you:
(1) Disable Firefox's use of hardware acceleration for graphics
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
This will take effect the next time you exit and start Firefox up again.
(2) Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Hopefully this will minimize the potential causes of instability.

64bit why can't you just compile 32bit apps into 64bit

The only changes that I know right now between 64bit and 32bit is the length on an int and long. Can someone please explain to me why they can't just re-compile the code as 64bit?

Who's 'they'?
Lots of code implicitly assumes within the code itself that pointers are a certain size. The code that's relatively better written and doesn't assume things like that works just fine with a recompile. You can't recompile Skype, though, since there's no source code available.

these cable are so delicate that after one week of use they break down. i can't spend all my money on buying them. moreover, last week it broke down on saturday eve so i was stuck untill tuseday without a phone.

apple's customer service is the wort customer service in the world.

I don't understand why you need to buy a new one every week. I've had my iPhnoe 5 for almost a year, never had a problem with the cable. In addition, your phone is can't be more than a year old. Therefore, unless you're damaging them, your cable is under warranty and Apple will replace it. Perhaps you should have tried actually availing yourself of Apple's customer service before complaining about it.

Why can't notes just be synced and available on pc?

I have tried almost every conceivable way to have access to my notes I wrote on my iphone 4 but can't seem to get them over unless I email them individually. I tried setting up a Gmail but that came out worse. Would really REALLY like to have the date/time that is on each note to come up with it when I pull it up on my puter. What a headache! HELP!

I don't believe so.
DRM protection is included with all apps - paid and free, which is tied to the iTunes account used to purchase/download the apps.
You can contact iTunes customer support about transferring all apps from one iTunes account to another, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much if I were you.

Each time that I sign in to Adobe I have to search for my files and my purchased package. What am i doing wrong? Why can't I just sign in and be taken to my package and documents?

I find the Adobe site to be very unfriendly. I believe that I should be able to sign in and be taken to my purchased package (PDF Converter, Cloud, etc), without having to spend 5 minutes searching the site. I would appreciate any tips as it takes me longer to convert 1 PDF than it does to create the 5 Excel documents that I need to convert.

Why can't TB just show each and every email received seperately in the inbox?

I keep on missing new messages that are received. In addition they are a total nuisance. Surely if they're necessary in certain applications then users should be able to choose whether they want the feature or not?

I'm talking about emails received in the inbox.
Before threads every email received was displayed in bold in the inbox irrespective of whether it was the 20th from the same person or not. One could see clearly that there was an unread email. With the thread function it isn't easy to see whether one has received another email from the same person any more.

Something does not match up. Check your year of manufacture.

Why do I have to fill out that form and wait a day after EVERY, SINGLE, RELEASE just to update more than one system? I have 150,000 nodes to upgrade. Why does Adobe go out of their way to make this difficult? Why the hell don't you inform people who already signed up about the new installers BEFORE they go to auto-update so system administrators could actually distribute them beforehand?
How could this possibly be a good thing for Adobe? I just had 50,000 nodes try to upgrade on their own, ALL OF THEM failed. That's 750 GIGABYTES of bandwidth you just wasted Adobe, yours and mine.
No more Flash updates I guess. There is no reason this has to be so terrible.

Firefox for android doesn't load all my passwords and corrupts bookmarks

Firefox for Android doesn't load all my passwords on my tablet (Lenovo).
Also, syncing corrupts my bookmarks on my desktop and laptop by inserting bookmarks which I have deleted days ago..
It syncs through all three devices and I know that it syncs because when I sync from my desktop, all three devices have the same time-stamp of when they synced.
It seems as though, if you have two usernames/passwords for the same login address, such as 2 Gmails - there is no dropdown which shows both emails/passwords from which to choose from.
This is all very frustrating, especially when I'm out and only have my tablet and I need to login somewhere when I'm with a client, and I can't login because Firefox/Android doesn't show my login info or the bookmark that I need is not there, because my bookmarks are corrupted after a sync.
I have lost clients because of this.

I understand that there are some issues with sync between three devices. Specifically, there is an issue with corrupt bookmarks and passwords that are not stored.
Please make sure these settings are set:
* [[Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms with your information]] * [[Usernames and passwords are not saved]]
* [[Using Master Password on Firefox for Android]]- the password manager addon for mobile devices may benefit in this situation.
However on mobile, specifically for Gmail signin, accounts.google.com can store a few mail accounts, however you would have to add an account by clicking on "Sign in with a different account". In Firefox, passwords are stored by website in the password manager.

Two Apple IDs Why can't you fix this?

Why can't you fix the problem for those of us who ended up with multiple Apple IDs and permit us to merge just once? I understand that IDs are tied to software updates but surely you chave the capability tod o this?

Hey apple, why don't you just fix your email forwarding?

There is a lot of problems described in this comunity about icloud email forwarding.
Personally I, spent a lot of time to make this fa***g email forwarding work. But it doesn't work.
I started yesterday, but only today morning I got an email from apple that it is enabled. But it doesn't work.
If it is not work properly - just disable it and people won't spend a lot time wondering it is work or not.
Also, I have tried to setup google POP3 "Check mail from other accounts" , but icloud mail doesn't support POP3 protocol.
So, apple, why don't you just fix your email forwarding? or disable it forever?
