Why can't you set iCal alarm to email on iOS?

I set iCal on OSX to email me ~12hrs before events, then alert me again 1hr and 30min before. Why can't you set email alerts on iCal for iOS and why are the alerts limited to only two? I feel like the features on iCal for iOS and OSX should be similar but they are not.

Your site is a CCM site which is on a WebBasics plan (This plan does not provide hosted emails on Business Catalyst).
If you want to create email addresses on this site, you would need to setup your email server elsewhere and configure the MX records on your site to point to that external mail server.
If you want to use Business Catalyst's hosted email services you would need to use a WebBasics+ or higher siteplan. To upgrade your CCM free site, Access your site's admin area -> Site Management -> Upgrade Now -> choose the desired site plan and billing frequency -> Add personal and credit card details -> Submit.

Why can't I set up a 2nd email address?

Ok so I followed all the help instructions for setting up a second email address and all is fine. I can send test emails to my first account and I receive them within the same inbox. But then I hit two roadblocks:
1.) When I reply to the test message it bounces back.
" (reason: 550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias"
2.) The password window keeps popping up. After entering my password I get "The POP server “pop-server.nyc.rr.com” rejected the password for user “(my new email account)”

The password rejection could have several causes: The most common is that you're already logged into the new account - using webmail and Mail at the same time -, in which case you need to log out in order to log back into the mail account. Some providers put a block on logging in to an email account for a period of time after failed login attempts. Your Keychain may not have the right password stored for the account. Mail may not have the right password stored for the account. Your provider may allow only one account to be logged in at a time.
There's lots of room for speculation, but your best bet is to call up RoadRunner tech support and ask them to check the account and whether you are running afoul of one of the problems noted above.
The reason I said that you might have a single email mailbox with multiple aliases is this snippet from your original post: unknown or illegal alias.

Why can't you set the inital view in preferences instead of on a document by document basis?

You can set the initial view on the document level in document properties to display Bookmarks Panel and Page and that's the view you will receive the next time that document is open.
There has to be a way to use a plug-in or something that will open all documents using that initial view, rather than having to set it each time.

The 'Document properties' window is set to make changes to a particular document. In order to set common settings for all the PDFs, please make changes in the 'Page display' option:
For MAC: File > Preference > Page display
For Windows: Edit > Preferences > Page display
Another point that you can make use of is: Whenever you close any PDF, Acrobat saves the last view settings and tries open the next PDF in the same view as it was closed.

Why Can't You Set The Value Of A Boolean Wrapper?

I don't see any methods in the Boolean class that would allow you to set the value of the underlying primitive. It seems that once it's created, that's it.
My reason for wanting to do this is that I have some synchronized code which is synchronizing on the value of boolean flag. Since you cannot synchronize on a primitive type, I decided to wrap it in a Boolean object....
Do I have to create my own custom class for this? Not that it would be hard, but it just seems like I shouldn't have to.

Why can't I set a second alert on my iPad calendar app? I can set two alerts per event on the iPhone version, but the iPad version doesn't show the option that pops up after entering a first alert on the iPhone.

Have you restarted the iPad - is that what you mean? Have you quit and then restarted the app? Quit the app, and restart the iPad. It's worth a try.
Double tap the home button and your recent apps will appear at the bottom. Hold down on the Notes app icon until it begins to wiggle. Then tap the minus sign to quit the app. Then tap the screen. Now restart the iPad.
Carolyn explained this above (restart) but here it is again....
Hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut off. Hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logos appears then let go of the button and the iPad will restart. See if that helps.

The way the date/time was displayed was changed in iOS7. There had been numerous complaints about not having a date/time stamp on all posts, so it was changed to display the time for all by sliding the post to the left. They left the date stamp to show differently. I couldn't tell you what it does for posts more than a week old, as I never save my messages that long.
Meg's post provides for software where you could move the SMS to the computer and it should contain a full date/time stamp on it.

With AT&T you can click on the phone icon - go to voicemial and at the top left where it says greetings click on it and you can set your voicemail greeting.

When you created the account, was access to the incoming mail server confirmed or was an error message provided?
If the account was set up successfully, the email account provider may by having a problem with their incoming mail server.
If not, try deleting and recreating the account.

But, the Express does not "extend" or "repeat" the wireless signal when it joins a network. In other words, wireless devices cannot connect to the AirPort Express the way that you have it set up.

The AirPort Extreme does not have this type of capability.
If you have both an AirPort Extreme and an AirPort Express.....my suggestion....again, found above in a previous post.....
It takes a minimum of two Apple routers to extend a signal using wireless.
You could do this by connecting the AirPort Extreme to your cable router using a permanently installed Ethernet cable and then configuring the AirPort Extreme to "create a wireless network".
Then add an AirPort Express in a location where it can pick up a strong wireless signal from the AirPort Extreme and configure the Express to "extend a wireless network".
You would not use the wireless on your cable router at all, unless you wanted to reserve that network for guests or something similar.

If your BC Assistant shows the option to create a USB Installer, it automatically is marked as bootable. There is no need to have manual intervention to make a bootable USB. Once the process is manually modified, it is supported by the person modifying it.
You have two or three options (depending on your Mac Model).
1. Create USB... - Use a USB2 flash drive, which is erased and formatted. If your Mac supports ISOs then BCA will prompt for the Media. Any Mac which does not have a built-in Optical drive will support an ISO. There are specific Mac models which support both, DVD and USB based installation.
2. Download Software from Apple servers...
3. Install Windows...
