Why canI open Firefox twice and my Norton toolbar only shows up on the second one
for some reason i can open firefox twice and did not know if this is normal. also my Norton 360 only shows up on the second one trying to find out if this is a something i need to correct and how to go about it
OK on the iMac now but not sure how to send the System Details. Any help welcome.

I would recommend trying to start Firefox in Firefox [[Safe Mode]] (make sure you close '''all''' running Firefox instances first), and see if this problem persists.
If not, it could be some add-on causing this behaviour - restart Firefox in Safe Mode, disable all add-ons, and enable them one by one to find the guilty one.
If it still happens in Firefox Safe Mode, some other program (or something in Windows itself) most likely is the cause. We may be able to help with this too, so let us know what works and provide as much additional information as possible to let us help you solve this.

It shows a white background on all the moniter, but the actual images are shown in the center of the moniter with 5 inches of white screen on both sides of the image. It is also to small of print.

Mac OS has had the behavior that if you have a window open at shutdown, it will automatically have that window open at startup - for your convencience. If you do not want that, there is no need to have a folder open at startup and you can easily avoid that. As mende1 said, make sure you quit (that is Command + Q or File > Quit) all applications before shutdown. And, close all open Finder windows by pressing the little red button in the upper left corner. Also check your System Preferences > General > Close all windows when quitting an application. -
Just upgraded to Firefox 4 and important Norton toolbar is missing - how do I get it back?
I've only just upgraded to Firefox 4 today (30.4.11) and when it had installed and restarted, my Norton toolbar was missing. A message from Firefox did come up - something to do with some items not compatible with version 4 but I can't remember all that it said. I haven't had this problem with any of the other versions of Firefox. This is an important toolbar as it concerns identity protection, safe web searching.

Why can't Firefox recgnize mozsqlite3.dll file, even though it's in the program folder?

Upgraded to 23.0.1 and now bookmarks toolbar only shows open tabs and not bookmarks. How to I fix?
Running Win 7 Home Premium. When I upgraded to Firefox 23.0.1, the Bookmarks Toolbar no longer shows my bookmarks which are in Bookmarks Toolbar but shows open tabs. If I uncheck "View Bookmarks Toolbar" the blank toolbar disappears, open tabs stay in there position. If I recheck "View Bookmarks Toolbar" a blank toolbar reopens but open tabs are on the toolbar. I tried to move a bookmark to the toolbar but all it does is open a tab of the location of the bookmark I tried to position on the toolbar.

've just upgraded to latest version of Firefox 4 and my Mac is only OSX.10.4.11 and now it won't open. How do I downgrade and get old Firefox back. Don't want to lose all my bookmarks. Why was I able to install in the first place. Very frustrated!!
You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work.... -
When opening firefox freezes and I can see the pages or access the menus at the top. Unable to change anything in firefox. Unintstalled/reinstalled but the issue remains.
