Why cannot I connect to one of my email servers, namely topmail.co.uk?

I normally use Outlook Express for emails, but I have another email address which uses topmail.
Today (for the first time - it was ok in the past) I have been refused all contact and therefore cannot access my email.

I'm a new for weblogic and jdeveloper, and now I try to deploy FOD (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/samples/fod/index.html) on a Linux server(Jdeveloper is running on the same server),but the connection to localhost can't be established. When I check the connection to 127.0.0.1 on port 7101, it always complains like that:

You are not able to establish a connection from jdev to the server right. If so you need to add an entry with the ip address and the hostname of server in the host file C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

RD Session broker issue; Cannot connect to one of the host servers through RDC

Hello,
I am testing a RD session broker role.
So I have 4 VMs: lest call them VM1, VM2 VM3 and VM4
VM1 is the DC and all other 3 VMs are under VM1.
VM2 is the Session broker server.
VM3 and VM4 are the host servers which are in a farm called Farm1.
Now I have done everything pretty much right. VM2, VM3 and VM4 all are listed in the Session broker computer local group (which is on VM2 since it is the session broker server)
Then I also have VM3 and VM4 setup in regards to their Remote desktop session host configuration.
RD Connection broker is VM2 and Farm name is Farm1.
everything sounds good right?
Okay.. So then I also have added those "New host (A or AAAA)" for VM3 and VM4 in the DNS on VM1 (which is DC).
Both VM3 and VM4 are set to 100 in "Relative weight of this server in the farm".
Now I am trying to do MSTSC from VM2 to farm1.domain.net. First user goes to VM3 just fine. But when I try to do MSTSC again with the second user, it tells me this:
The remote computer hat you are trying to connect is redirecting you to the remote computer.
Remote Desktop Connection cannot verify that the two remote computers belong to the same farm.
This can occur if there is another computer on your network with the same name as the computer your are trying to connect to.
I have read 10 pages of google search about this and still have no clue what to do. I have tried flushing DNS cache on VM1. Time and date is exactly the same on all 4 VMs.
I also read the following thread but could not understand the answer that he has given there.

Okay, so I found the issue and was able to solve the problem.
Here is how to do this and I wonder why most of the online guides to do this whole thing don't talk about it!
Go to Start --> Administrative tools --> Remote desktop services --> RemoteApp Manager
Now a new window will open and in the window there's a box which says "Overview".
The first option will say " RD Session Host Server Setting; Clients will be redirected to: computer.domain.com"
That's where you need to make a change. If you'd open that, it will tell you that "If the RD session Host Server is in a farm, enter the DNS name of the farm".
So now make that "Server name" look like this: farm.domain.com or whatever your farm's DNS name is.
Do this on all the host servers and yeah then you might need to refresh the DNS settings on the DC.
It should start working then :)

One signature will not stay connected to one of my email accounts. Why???

I have several email accounts (IMAP and POP) and several signatures used with each account. The problem that I'm having is that I cannot get the signature that I want to use with a specific account to stay associated with that account. Every time I restart Mail, the signature is no longer associated with the account and I have to drag back the signature to the account to get it to work. I even tried deleting the signature and then re creating it, but I still have the same problem.
Any fixes here? This is really driving me crazy! Thanks,

Why do messages no longer download from one of my email servers?

Quite often when I click Thunderbird's "Get Messages" button, things don't work. I do usually get the notes at the bottom of the window saying, "Connecting to [mail server]..." and then, immediately, "Connected to [mail server]..."--but then nothing, until a minute and a half later when the note disappears entirely (and still no downloads). But then sometimes I don't even get those notes at the bottom. A little while later things may return to normal, except for the last couple of days when no downloads at all from this mail server have succeeded--not even automatically when Thunderbird starts up. I can always go directly to my email account via Firefox without any delay, but I do like Thunderbird. This has been going on occasionally for months, but it has been getting worse lately. Restarting Thunderbird or rebooting the computer doesn't seem to help. Outgoing mail works properly, so I guess the Account Settings are OK.
The same behavior with two of my other Thunderbird accounts (from the same mail server), but not with a third (from a different server)--that works fine.
Oh, and when the set periodic time comes to automatically download new messages, "No messages to download" appears at the bottom note area--just like it does when the computer wakes up from a sleep and has not yet automatically reconnected to the Internet.
Using Thunderbird 31.5.0 on Win 8.1.

Please try to increase the server time-out setting to check if the issue will be resolved. To do this, please follow:
1. Start Outlook.
2. On the Files menu, click Info >
Account Settings > Account Settings
3. Click to select the target POP3 account, and then click Change.
4. Click More Settings.
5. Click the Advanced tab.
6. Gradually increase the server time-out setting until the issue is resolved.
If the problem persists, please try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel to check if it helps. Please refer to the KB article below which described a similar situation:

In my small office ethernet network all of a sudden one of my imacs cannot be connected to. It can connect to all other computers and can access internet, but as soon as someone tries to connect to that mac, it disconnects from the network. Any ideas

I have a network of 9 macs that connect via ethernet and a router. All of a sudden one of the macs cannot be connected to. It can connect to all others and the internet, but no one can connect to that one. I have appletalk active and file sharing on, but everytime someone tries to connect to it, it is not on the network. Additionally, the personal file sharing keeps turning off even though I have it locked. Any ideas?

Among the alternatives not mentioned... Using a TiVo DVR, rather than the X1; a Roamio Plus or Pro would solve both the concern over the quality of the DVR, as well as providing the MoCA bridge capability the poster so desperately wanted the X1 DVR to provide. (Although the TiVo's support only MoCA 1.1.) Just get a third-party MoCA adapter for the distant location. Why the hang-up on having a device provided by Comcast? This seems especially ironic given the opinions expressed regarding payments over time to Comcast. If a MoCA 2.0 bridge was the requirement, they don't exist outside providers. So couldn't the poster have simply requested a replacement XB3 from the local office and configured it down to only providing MoCA bridging -- and perhaps as a wireless access point? Comcast would bill him the monthly rate for the extra device, but such is the state of MoCA 2.0. Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

The iphone 5 can only be located if connected to a data or mobile network. If in Airplane mode or switched off, it can't be found.

One of my sites still connects but the other gets An ftp error occurred cannot make connection to host.

My problem is in “connect to remote server”. I manage two sites in Dreamweaver CS6, and they are hosted by the same guys. One site still connects fine but the other one has stopped connecting. With the second site when I click on the button I get a delay then "An ftp error occurred -- cannot make connection to host".
However I can still access the second site’s remote server through an FTP program, and the Host tech support confirms my login is working fine from his computer.
I tried doing this old trick (1) Site > Manage Sites > Export to create a .ste file (2) quite, restart (3) Manage Sites > Import the .ste file (4) click on connect to remote server -- But that made no difference

Just because both sites are hosted by the same firm doesn't mean they are on the same physical server. Your problem connecting could be attributable to many things.
User name and password may have changed or been reset.
Server permissions problems (GoDaddy is notorious for this).
IP blocking.
Server is down.
etc...
Are you able to connect with a 3rd party FTP client like FileZilla? If not, I'm guessing this is a server problem & you need to contact your host.

amyhs, thanks for those details. This is certainly quite odd that this has been going on so long and we definitely want to get to the bottom of this. Now, you stated that you have reached out to technical support and spoke with a tier two technical support representative. At this time, what actions or troubleshooting steps were taken? Are you aware if a ticket with our network technicians was ever created? As well, have you ever previously had an iPhone and are you aware if the users that are unable to message you are using iMessage?

Why cant I connect address book to more than one email account I have 3 but can only do this for my icloud account ?? I am using the correct pass word but still no joy ????

I bought an iPhone 3G this morning (wahoo!), and can confirm that I have setup both an IMAP (for my home server) and an exchange server (for work).
Exchange is set to push email (so will get email as it arrives) and IMAP is currently set to manual, and is working like a charm.. With multiple accounts you get to set one as the preferred which it will default to when composing (but you can change the accounts on the compose screen)
Only minor annoyance is signature is shared between both accounts, other than that am loving it!
