Why cannot i find my downloaded ringtone on my phone

I updated my iphone to ios 5 and for some reason I cannot find my download ringtone I purchased. I even tried manually dragging it to the phone when it is connected to my computer. How can I retrieve the ringtone on my phone without purchasing it again.

I can play the attachment but no where no matter what I tap or long press etc can I find how to save the attachment. How do I save this ringtone. I tried downloading Astros and I searched thru that and every folder and file was empty. Please help

Have tried all these things for the past 3 hours. Tap and hold......inside the bubble............no Save Ringtone choice. If I tap the play button that is also inside the bubble the ringtone plays, but tapping that screen brings up nothing. And the menu button doesn't work on that screen either.

I haven't a clue, I've been wondering why everything except ringtones. You could try contacting the iTunes store support and they might be able to provide you with an answer. In that case:
1. Go to expresslane.apple.com
2. select 'itunes' and then 'itunes store' on the right
3. select a topic and a subject
4. click 'continue' and then 'email'
5. fill out the form and explain your situation
6. they will respond within 24 hours usually

I have an IPad 2. I downloaded a ringtone, payment was taken, but I now can't find it on any list.

you should check in the "tones" playlist.
If the playlist isn't there, goto preferences (cmd+,) and make sure the checkbox for tones is checked.

Why cannot I open a downloaded set of images?

I cannot open a downloaded set of images at once using preview. OSX prompts "... is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" for the first image in the list that I haven't yet accepted to open, and stops there. When I quit preview and select the set of images and open them, the next image in the list asks for permission. This is a headache and I cannot keep doing this whole day, there are 100s of images in the list. What can I do?

Downloaded ringtone on my phone but it didn't work

I got a brand new iPhone 3GS yesterday and I downloaded a ringtone (two actually) directly to my iPhone from iTunes, not using the computer at all. When it asked me if I wanted to make the ringtone the default, I said yes, and then it downloaded, but the ringtone didn't become the default, and it's not showing up in the list of ringtones under settings. I tried again with a different ringtone from iTunes directly using my phone and when it asked, I said I wanted to make it the default for a specific contact and it downloaded, but again it's not showing up anywhere and it didn't become the default ringtone for that contact. I can't find the ringtones in the settings and I can't find it under iPod. When I tried to purchase the first one again, it said I had already purchased it, so obviously the stupid thing downloaded somewhere, but I don't know where. Can anyone help?

Well...looks like you're gonna have to contact itunes support, explain what happened and see if they will let you re-download them again at no cost. You'll get an answer within 24 hours:

Also, just to make sure, check in iTunes on your computer, Store>Check for available downloads...see if they show up there.

Mine has been acting up all day like this. Was perfectly fine last night. Grey bubble for texts sent to me, and blue bubbles when I send text to iPhone users. This morning, without doing anything different to my phone other then texting, it was green bubbles when I send to iPhone users. And no replies ALL DAY. I texted Android users I know, and they received my texts, and I received theirs. Just when I got home, I finally received a text from my brother. But when I replied back, it was still a green bubble. But he tells me, it's blue for him when he sends to other iPhone users. Yes, iMessage is turned on. Short of resetting my phone to factory, I've done all the troubleshooting involved with fixing iMessage issues. All of it. No luck.

It is telling you that you need to install the latest version of itunes on your computer, not your iphone
Itunes is bult into the iphones operating system. You do not download itunes at all on your iphone.

Can't find the downloaded apps on 5s.

i have an apple ID which i have used on my other iphones. i recently purchased a new iphone 5s and used the same apple ID for it. i downloaded the free apps FB, watsapp, instagram etc but in doesnt show on my phone. when i go to settings and check usage its there but for some reason only the icon and size is mentioned whereas the app name in not mentioned and it says "null" when i try to delete the app. how do i find the downloaded apps on the phone? i have also upgraded the ios to 7.0.5 but the problem still persists. Welcome to the community, sweetbebrown. What's your phone's model? Can you give us more details about your concern? What do you mean by "Why can't. I download Pandora on my phone"? Can you see the Pandora app on the Store? If you're trying to download it from a 3rd party website, please specify the site. Is there any error message? If there is, what's the exact error message and when do you usually see this? Keep us posted.

I am confused. Do you mean you found the music, not the tones, or you can't find either?
If the former, then this is normal. You can't redownload tones from the Cloud.
