Why cannot I see my music on my iPod when connected to the pc, using Windows explorer
I am having problems with seeing my iPod Classic in my Windows Explorer.... when connecting using the correct leads I can only see the non-essential directoris, my music is hidden and is shown as F1, F2, F3,etc......
Please help as I wish to transfer the music to my netbook...

Those F1, F2, etc., folders are the ones containing your actual music. If you copy these over to your Desktop and then into iTunes most of your track tags should still be with associated with the correct tracks in these folders. Some may not.

Why can't I use the Column Browser for my iPod when connected to the computer?
In iTunes 11, I can use the Column Browser while viewing my music library on the computer. But it's inexplicably not available for viewing the music on my iPod when it's connected to the computer to sync.
The Column Browser is the simplest, easiest, most elegant way for me to review what's on my iPod, and create Playlists from my music and CD books. It was available in 10.7 and is available on the computer, why not the iPod????!!!???
Why mess around changing something that isn't broken - after all these years why can't that option still be available? It doesn't have to be the default, just be available. Will I have to downgrade to 10.7 yet again????

It makes sense to me that you provide a general "Using iTunes" category.Thanks for your reply, but I've already done that and the Column Browser options are completely grayed out. I've taken a screen shot and hope I can paste it in here. You'll see I have the sidebar open. That's the way I prefer to deal with iTunes.
This happened after I updated to iTunes 11.0.4. Perhaps that changed the setting options. I think I had the Column Browser option prior to that, but I just got a new iPod and I was busy loading stuff, so not completely sure if it worked before the update. But I think I would have noticed, because it bugs me so much not to have the option. -
I can establish internet connection through internet explorer using a router at my house, but whenever I attempt to connect using firefox, it says it is unable to connect.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

I've heard that computer usb ports are somewhat marginal in recharging the ipad. Best to use a power outlet.

The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1).This is my Ipod 32 GB, which is out of warranty and is 1G-A1213 and had gone kaput, after having issues with iTunes Software as it was not able to run Music on my IPod when connected.

Restore of Ipod back up is present...but is not getting restored due to some iTunes issue with playing my music files.It says restoring and extracts but failes in 1 min with the said error.Other users and reported error 1 but I have not seen a solution.

I don't see my music on my ipod anymore.
I don't see my music on my ipod anymore. Only a small part is visible. Maybe 10%.
When I choose to sync Entire library (2402 songs) I see in iTunes on my Mac (version 11.0) that probably all songs are selected because I only have 4.83Gb free on my iPod 60GB. Then I do sync and suddenly I have 36,55 GB free. When I click on the blue bar it tells me that there are 188 songs on my iPod.
When I choose "selected playlists" iTunes tells me that there are 2210 songs in the playlists. But when I click on the blue bar it tells me that there are 2837 songs. Then I click "Apply". After syncing there are only 10 songs on my iPod, and I don't see any of the checked playlist on my iPod. Besides that all my video's were removed from the iPod.
Anyway I can't listen to my music and audiobooks anymore and want that problem solved.
Anyone can help me?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsynce all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

It sounds like you are unable to access the iTunes Store in the iTunes application. Based on the error message I would try the steps in the article here named:

Remove pop-up blockers
Some pop-up or ad-blocking programs may interfere with the ability of iTunes to connect to the iTunes Store. Removing them in many cases will resolve the issue.
Flush DNS Setting in Windows
In some cases, the DNS information you computer uses to connect to the Internet needs to be reset. Follow these instructions to flush your Windows DNS information:
Windows XP
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
On the Start menu, point to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and chooseRun as Administrator from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, clickContinue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Note: If, in the command prompt, you see this message: "The requested operation requires elevation", close the command prompt and repeat steps 1 and 2 above to be sure that Administrator privileges are used to access to Command Prompt.

when watching a slideshow I could always access music from my iTunes folder. Suddenly today I can only hear music under the 'theme' tab. I can see my music in iTunes but when I double click on it nothing happens!
In iTunes go File -> Library -> Organise Library -> Reorganise Library.
Then quit and restart iPhoto.

Why my iPad 4 become very lag after upgrade to iOS 8.0.2 and not sensitive anymore when press the keyboard and programs it didn't respond when I type the word using the keyboard fast it lag until I cannot locked or switch off the phone
Same issue here both with my iphone 5S as well as my iPad2. THe sync to my macbook air does not complete and it shows a large overcapacity level when connected, but once I disconnect there is plenty of room (4 GB) available, not a 20 GB overage.

New Router- Internet OK, but cannot see other machines on the network with Windows Explorer
Everything was fine (but slow) with my old Linksys BRFW1154. Ordered and got a new WRT350N. Multiple computers (using Windows XP) on network can all access the internet and the network printer, but when I try to use Windows Explorer to see files etc on other computers (in My Network Places) from any computer, I no longer can see the other computers. I get the error: "Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this ........etc....".
Any ideas out there as to how I get my network working again?check whether all the computers can ping each other fine...also, the computers should be in the same workgroup

Why can't I sync music to my ipod without deleting the music already on my ipod
I have music to sync to my ipod but when I go to the music tab of itunes it no longer gives the list of artists that I want to upload to my ipod. The only way I could possibly upload the music I want is by choosing to sync all music but that would require me to delete all of the music on my ipod and replaced with the music in my library. I keep getting "Unable to connect" for my firefox. It was working yesterday and I turned my computer off. I can get to the web using internet explorer 9. I don't know why my firefox is not working. Everything else is working.

Why would my video clips be running too fast when played on the monitor panel?
I posted my problem earlier today, but re-reading it maybe I didn't explain myself well enough.
My main question is: "why would my video clips be running too fast when played on the monitor panel ?". This is occuring after I have selected my media from the Tasks Panel and placed them in correct order in the Timeline/Sceneline. I knew something was wrong when I could see that the clips were not indicating their right length when viewed in the (expanded) timeline. They were compressed into just a few seconds, whereas the clips should have been at least 5 minutes. I ran the clips in the monitor and sure enough they ran too fast, with a lot of jerking movements.
The 3 video clips I am trying to make into a HD PAL video were taken with my Nokia N8 mobile video camera. These are in mp4 format. Can this present a problem ? Note that when I play these individual HD clips on my computer in (Windows Media Player) they run fine.
After I placed the clips in my Project Panel (or before in the Organize Workspace), I have perforned no change or manipulation of the clips. They are in their original state.
Just too confirm that the clips did seem to be compressed, I burnt a DVD, the resultant video ran in a matter of seconds.
Help would be greatly appreciated.Yes, that is what the problem was.
Although the video camera on my Nokia N8, mobile was capturing at 25fps,
for some reason once transfered over to PrE9 (via file transfer), the clip was interpreted as 500fps. Once in Interpret Footage I was able to change the fps to 25.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

why do some songs grayed out and only available when connected on wifi when trying to stream on iphone?
I had this problem too - of grayed out music I could only play when in WIFI. I noticed when looking in iTunes, these grayed song were not chosen by me to sync on to my iPhone. They were stored in iCloud. I went to Settings > Music and then turned off "Show All Music" so only music that has been dowloaded to my iPhone will be shown.
I don't have iTunes Match, so you may have a different issue than what I had.
