Why cant i access one of my email accounts, and how to fix?
I have a Iphone 5, and when for some reason one of my email accounts seems to be bugged. When I go into setting and click on it, it canels the setting menu and goes to my home screen. in the mail icon it asks for a password, I put it in and an imap error message pops up. i cant access only that email, to delete or make changes. what do i do?

It's my understanding that an iPhone can only sync with one computer. You need to choose one computer. Sounds like it syncs at work, but not at home. If you want to just sync it at home, then you have to make sure the home computer has all the info that you want on it, like music etc. Then you have to deauthorize the work computer for it to sync at home. When you connect it will ask if you want to set up as a new iPhone or restore from backup. If you don't have a backup on the home computer then either way you will be wiped clean. So any photos, contacts, notes etc you have will be erased. You would need to backup or copy your photos from your iPhone. When you connect it to your home computer, it will give you that popup message to open your iPhone files. Then you can copy those photos and save them onto your computer and sync them back in through iTunes.
For your contacts, do you use any type of address book? If so you'll want to back that up and then transfer to your home computer. For notes, you can just email those to yourself and then save that email. I use MobileMe so the contacts issue is easily resolved. -

I can't access one of my email accounts
I have two Gmail accounts on my iPad 2. One is mine and the other is my partner's. I have not upgraded this iPad to ios8, as it is only 16 GB and I don't have enough storage, but I have upgraded my iPad mini. Since then I can't access my partner's emails on this iPad as the toolbar on top of the message pane has disappeared - no back button, no edit button, although these do appear as before on the mini, and I can access his emails on that. What is going on, and how can I get that "toolbar" back?

Have no access to apple id email account hacked how do i get my music back?

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. All my microsoft email accounts or any email account I have ever own was hacked back in 2009. Now I would really like to be able to get all the itunes music I purchased but I don't have access to the email account it is associated with. Not even sure which one it is. I spoke with Apple on the phone and they informed me that every email account I thought was listed with my Apple id never was. Also that my apple id revolved around a hotmail account. I had no clue because I don't recall ever associating it with one. Needless to say I can't access or close my hotmail accounts due to something about them being associated with a microsoft account. STill not sure what they are talking about. I have been trying for years to close my email accounts or access them but so far nothing. They are being used just not by me. I did send a letter to Microsoft for support welll that was a waste of time.My question is how do I get the 100s of songs I paid for when I can't access my orginal apple id? I can't get past the birthdate for security questions and apple can't help me. Last October I spent hours on the phone with apple and they sent me a reset password email to my internet provider Fibrant. Sad thing is I never got it until about 3 weeks ago. Alittle to late. I assumed someone or something kept it from me so I could not access my apple id. The only thing I have as an apple id is an expired . me account. You would think that would be enough to prove the music I purchased was listed with that me account and one time but nope its not. I just need to know how to get access to my apple id the original one. I have went out of my was to get a mac computer and apple router , I also took all my microsoft pcs and got rid of them. But it doesn't matter because evidently who ever third party or what not that has my apple id is associated with microsoft. I didn't even realized all my music on my ipod was formatted for windows. so I try to restore it and I lost a 100 and some songs. I bought itunes match last october and that was a waste I am not sure but I think it was associated with microsoft too. When I speak with apple on the phone they usually say that account doesn't exist. Or that there is no record of the hours I spent on the phone speaking with them. Or they can access the case number but there are no details. If someone has a good idea of how I can reclaim my orginal apple id besides my old @ me account I would greatly appreciate it. I can't get pass the birthdate that states is wrong and if i get a reset email it seems to be intercepted or something. Please help.

Eastern time zoneI did back up my computer and then put everything back on ( or so I thought) but it did not work properly ( I don't know why) maybe I hit the wrong button, but know on my back up for iTunes it is the one I have on my computer now without all my music and photos. Guess I'll just have to start again, I did manage to work out how to get any purchases I got from iTunes. So it's just all my own music bit of a bummer really but still you live and learn, so I'm told.

I sent a few emails from one of my accounts that are set up in my Thunderbird. Now I see that they have been sent from two of my accounts, simultaneously. It shows them in both Sent folders and with the respective email address as sender.
Those email accounts have been set up in my Thunderbird for a long time now and have been working correctly until now.
How can I prevent this from happening again? I don't want to send people messages from two different emails at the same time.
I'd appreciate any help on this.

BorislavIn my case, TB is sending a copy of all my sent mail to the account that is associated with the smtp server. I have four accounts that I check via TB and the sent mail is being kept in the original folder and also in the sent folder of the account to which the smtp server is connected. If I change the smtp server from one gmail account to another, the sent mail follows. I then have two copies of the sent email, one in the original folder and one in the smtp server account's sent folder. I only want the one in the original folder. How do I stop the sent email from also being saved in the smtp account sent folder?

Recently I have lost the ability to access hyperlinks from my email. Need help fixing this issue.
Try quitting Mail and then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

How do I edit the contacts list that comes up when emailing a photo in the camera ap.
In the future, you might get better results if you post your own thread rather than responding to one that is this old (a year and a half).
When the contact that is not in your contact lists shows up, tap teh arrow beside it inteh list. The information pop up will give you the opportunity to remove it from the "Recents" list (or add it, if you choose). -
Apple store is saying my security questions are wrong. The rescue email does not belong to me and there seems to be no way to change it. When I try to buy something it tells me to go to my security questions to verify my account. Then all that happens :( please help!

You should be using the developers installer/unistaller to remove Log Me In from OS X.
Somehow it's in OS X, I don't know, but it's there and you need to remove it. I'm not dealing with Windows, just OS X.
Talk to Log Me In people and find out what is installed where so you can do a manual deletion out of OS X.
If that doesn't work, you have to reboot holding the Shift key down manually search for any Log Me In or Himachi files on your computer, in your System/Library/Extensions folder too, use the free Easy Find.

I Have followed all the steps and still cant remove iCloud to my existing account and add to the new one, the old email account was changed a year ago and cant get that email plus the password don't work please HELP!

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I use more than one computer to access my four business email accounts. When one computer is on (and mail is open) emails do not get through to the other computers. This is fine, but how do I make one of the other computers the dominant one?
I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
Or get/setup IMAP accounts.
