Why cant I group by large fields, and why dont these print properly?
I have a number of Crystal Reports fed by my database which has a table in it that stores Paths (to given files and locations). In SQL Server this path column is set to nvarchar(MAX).
However, whenever I try to use this column in reports 2 things appear strange...
1.) I can never group on this field (which I need badly to do) - it just never shows up in the Group Expert.
2.) Whenever I use this field in a report and set the field to "Can Grow", it never prints anything beyond about 450 characters (and yes, we have some paths that go much longer than that) - in other words, although the "Can Grow" setting seems to work as the field will grow - it never prints anything beyond about 450 characters.
What is happening with this? Any ideas anyone?

But is there any way to get a definitive answer somewhere on these kinds of things?
We cannot, as a company, keep "trying things" with Crystal Reports - we have been down this path now quite a few times and it seems we are the ones testing and debugging Crystal Reports for the SAP Company - which is driving our VP of Development nuts because I am taking sometimes days to figure out stuff that should be documented - as he says "especially for the price we paid for the product."
If you dont know, okay, you dont know - and thats okay - but I cannot keep testing Crystal Reports for workarounds to simple things. We are working on tight deadlines for major clients and more than once already, I have hosed up those deadlines with the simplest of things Crystal should be doing and documenting.
So is there anywhere that I can search, find, beg for, buy, sell my children for - that would have this rather basic information?

Why doesn't flash player stay installed and why does the saved file disappear. I have downloaded and installed flash player several times on my Win7 Vaio laptop. I have uninstalled and deleted all versions. I am the administrator and I have also turned off my Security Software, but the same thing keeps happening over and over. The Java Script is enabled and I have tried both downloading via IE and firefox. It is rediculous that it keeps disappearing and I keep getting messages that the newest version is needed. I am downloading directly from adobe and they say it is the latest. Getting very frustrated. They ask if we have any problems when we go to the finish line, but there is no place for comments. I guess they don't really care if it works or not.
So is it actually installed, or is it not? If not, download and run the offline installers:

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

If not then you will need to create a new account, and follow the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it. The Apple store is correct. The warranty is not international, and Apple will not accept or return iPhones shipped from a different country. You need to ship the phone to somebody in Hong Kong who can take it in to Apple for repair, or pay a third party repair shop in the Philippines to fix it.

You cannot until you reach the limit of 5, then you can deauthorize all.

Why won't my Macbook Pro recognize (and connect to) a printer on same WiFi network as my Mac.
My Macbook Pro was connected and printing to my WiFi network just fine. However, I started getting an error message saying my printer was not connected. I checked my printer and it is still connected to wirelss network and the printer test confirmed it was with a strong signal. I have turned off and restarted both the printer and Macbook but I am still getting the same error and it will not print. I decided to delete the printer and add it back, however, when I tried to add it my Macbook didn't list this device or my label maker that is also connected to the network. It is as though my Mac is not recognizing any devices on the network. Could I have a setting wrong on my Macbook? My notebook is connected to the network and it is working. Both my printing devices show they are connected to the same network. Help! I would appreciate any suggestions !
I had almost the same thing happen the other day - kept getting a message that my printer was not connected. I went to the printer setup on the printer's panel and the IP address was correct, everything looked as if it should be working. So I just reset my router - figuring that would fix the problem. No go. What I finally ended up doing was resetting my router to factory settings and setting it up anew.
And that's what worked for me.

Pls goto the menu ,logistics general - material master - settings for key fields - data relevant to sales and distribution - define material groups.
These are not similar to the material groups which are used for pricing and hence can be altered to meet your analysis requirement. It wouldn't have any impact
