I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1. The phone no longer connects to the 4G networks when I am away from WiFi. Also, some of my Aps no longer work....Instagram being one.
Any suggestions?Apple guys are deleting posts. I have found my posts have been deleted. Apple should MUST let us downgrade at least to previous release from current which was working fine.

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores and make sure the option to "use cellular data" is ON. This WILL use the data on your account and you could go over your allotment if not careful. Be aware.

It works fine with wifi but when I leave the house and go out and about I can no longer connect to the internet despite having a 3g connection everywhere I go. I'm supposed to have internet connection on my contract.

HELP !!I just asked the same thing and did some research. Some people have said that the UDID code is like banned from instagram, but your account isn't. I'm able to use it on my phone but not on my iPod.

This is a common anti-spam technique for ISPs to prevent mail from being sent from anywhere other than your service location. Ask Road Runner if there are any specific settings you can use to circumvent this.

No. You really can't do that. Not easily at any rate. You would have to set them both up to use POP3, but even then there is no way to guarantee that the phone won't poll the server prior to your computer doing so, pulling down the message from the server.

You either need WiFi or Cellular (or both). If you have neither, you can't connect to the internet.
Most people use WiFi at home and Cellular while away from home, or connect to public WiFi networks where there are some. -

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

Without you syncing computer, all you can do is to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. It will be just like it way when new. To do that you have to place the iPod in recovery mode. For recovery mode see:
