Why cant ios apps have notifications off by default?

EVerytime I install or update apps they end up having notifications I have to turn off.
IIt's the worst part of owning an ipad and iphone for my wife and I. We hate all the notifications.
Can or will Apple change this policy?
We have a few app notifications on but not all.
Even when I install and the app asks if I want notifications on

11, with 16 slots on each one.
Once you've filled all the spaces in all 11, any further apps downloaded will have nowhere to be displayed.
Obviously you can make alot more space by using folders - you can put up to 12 apps in a folder.

More than likely the app you are trying to download requires an iOS higher than iOS 4.2.1, which is the highest iOS you can put on the iPhone 3G. It is up to the developer regarding support for older iOS, and most have gone past iOS 4.2.1. The only alternative is the purchase of a new phone, or not use the app.

Facebook For iOS App Push Notifications Not Working

Been seeing a lot of Threads for this problem but with no proper solution.
Ever since I updated my Facebook App to v9.0, I havent had any push notifications come to my phone. I've tried uninstalling/deleting the app & other connected apps (Paper, FB messenger) , logging out of the iOS integration, Resetting my phone, etc. but nothing's worked. The App doesn't even ask me if I want to Activate Notifications anymore when I Re-Install it....
The Phone Notifications are set to show in the lock screen & all, and the Push Notifications in the app are set to push for "All Notifications", but On the Web client I noticed that I had "Some notifications" listed in the settings (and I can't change those on the web, because it tells you to change them in the app) . The only way I know i have Notifications now is through the App Badge,, via Email or through Paper's Notification setup (But i still dont get all of them) ...
I wonder if it could be a server issue on Faceobook's End. There has to be some way to fix this problem....Help!!!

WHY does updating apps have to be so convoluted?

Okay so I've got a bunch of apps needing new updates, which the "App Store" notifies me of with it's icon on the iPad. Plugging the iPad into my computer supposedly there's a way to update these in iTunes? Oh nooooo.... You can't update apps like you would update your podcasts, or music, calendars, etc. etc. No that would make too much sense! Instead you HAVE to do it on the iPad. And then what? The iPad will update iTunes on the computer?
Doesn't make sense Apple.

Why cant ios 7 be put down in memory

I really want IOS 7 on my i pod touch[4th gen]but not enough memory.Why is this and can it be changed???

As Apple announced in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod touch
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

So when I downloaded iOS 7, everytime I opened an app a message would repeatedly pop up saying something about push notifications and to connect to iTunes.
So I connected to iTunes...no help.
I read on here to restore my phone and that it would solve the problem and as much as I didn't want to I restored my phone.
Now that I've restored my phone I can't download my back up back to my phone because iTunes can't connect to the iTunes store.
When I try to activate my phone manually it says the activation is invalid and won't let me activate.
What is wrong with iOS 7 and why did apple even make it avaliable for download with all these problems?
My phone has never been jailbroken and has stayed 100% legal so I dont see what the problem could possibly be.
If ANYONE has any way I can get a hold of apple to get this problem solved please tell me. Since my phone doesn't work anymore I can't call, so phone numbers will be of no help.

Look in your settings at apps that refresh in the background, and turn off ones you dont need. Also apps need to be updated for teh new OS so there will be bugs. Turn off location settings you dont need. get to know the new OS. Personally I am getting quite good battery life, but I did do some adjustments.

Why are iOS apps appearing in iBooks on my Mac ?

I got a problem with iBooks application on my Mac (Mac mini mid 2011, OS X 10.9).
Recently, I noticed I had lots of icons which are not books or pdf files in my iBooks library, but apps I downloaded on my iPhone from the app store. You can see it on the attached screen shots.
They appear as 'downloading', but they never download…
I tried to quit and launch again iBooks, restart my Mac mini… but nothing changed.
Do you have an idea of how I could fix it ?
(Without reinstalling the system would be better…)

You can backup your iTunes library any number of ways. An external hard drive using Time Machine or any other backup software would be one way. You can also backup the library to DVD. Read both of these articles.

Of course you can always download the apps again at no charge as long as you use the same Apple ID that you purchased them with.

Only other thing I would suggest is trying to reinstall the apps, or even restore the firmware.. if you can't cope with it that is.

i have two components one that is a lineChart the other is a
titleList. for each I have identified the dataProvider property as
the same arrayCollection (dataPoints) so my code looks like:

for both components. I had this same error when i tried to
add a legend component yesterday so it is not limited to just these
two components. I tried instantiating a variable as a type
dataProvider, so that it was not being instantiated twice, but no
such primitive type was available via the auto-complete code

Thanks again, I figured out the problem. In the mxml I was
using the category axis tag without having a parent horizontal axis
tag. So for others here is how a chart needs to be structured.
correct syntax:

Why do some apps have fonts that cannot be reduced.

Waether channel covers just 25% of the app page and i cannot move to see the rest. NYt comes in as way too large. I ahve already tried magaing the font form the settings screen hut i get nowher.

Contact the developer of the app. Support for that feature
must be included by the developer when writing the software.

Why will my apps have to be deleted to change mys ettings?

every time i try to change the settings on how i manage my music or videos on my ipad2 a message pops up saying all my apps and data will be deleted. will it really delete everything, i dont want to find out the hard way

They should not if everything works correctly.
I don't know about you but I never trust my data to everything working corectly so I always backup first before an upgrade. In fact I do it at least twice. In the case of my phortos I do it even more then that.

Why deadlines in Reminders appear differently in iCloud web and in iOs app?

In the iCloud web app, when I set a new reminder, a "deadline" can be added. In the iOs app, this deadline is visible, but if I create a new reminder in the iOS app I can only set an alarm date but no deadline, which appear in a different line. In other words, reminders created in the web app have "deadlines", reminders created in the iOS app have "alarm date". In the iOS app, the list is sorted by deadline, not alarm date, I can't find anything. How can Reminders be useful if I can't work in the web app and the iOS app at the same time?
