Why changes are not visible in alternate profit center heirarchy?

Hi
I did changes in the master data of profit center. I chaged the profit center group in the masterdata of profit center & the same change is visible in the standard heirachy but the changes are not visible in the alternative heirarchy.
I think it should visible as I did changes in the master data.
I just want to know why it is like so or there is some other way to change the master data.
I know i can drag the profit center as well in t code KCH9 or KCH 2.
After doing so i activated the same.
Waiting for sugestions, comments.

Hi,
If your are using same profit center group(which is used in standard hierarchy) in alternate hierarchy,you will see change.
if your using different groups in Standard hierarchy and Alternate hierarchy you will not see change in alternate hierarchy.

I uploaded my Iweb site to the server using FileZilla. When I make changes in I-web and republish, the changes are not visible. I even tested it out by deleting the site folder and re-uploading everything after I re-published the site in IWeb...but the change still isn't visible. Any suggestions as to why?

Apparently you publish to a folder.
iWeb's job is done!
What you do next with the files is your responsibility.
Try uploading the changed files to their respective folders on the server.
You can identify the changed files by the date/time.
Then in the browser, clear the cache and reload the page.
iWeb is not involved.

Why changes are not made in login screen after changes in logon.css in OBIE

Hi,
I need to change the login screen with my own logo.and i referred the below links.I have made all the cahanges as mentioned in this link.
The heading is changing but the backgroundimage and colours are not changing.I have made all the changes as mentioned in this link.
can anyone help what is wrong and why i'm not getting the backgroung image and colour changed..Is there any other changes in logon.css or instanceconfig.xml

You have customised the skins/themes folder
$OBI_HOME/web/app/res/*
Depending on what webserver you are using you will also need to customise the skins/themes for the web application that is already deployed.
These are where you can find them:
OC4J: $OBI_HOME/oc4j_bi/j2ee/home/applications/analytics/analytics/res/*
WebLogic: $OBI_HOME/web/analytics/res/*
You will need to restart the presentation services to see the changes.
If you are manually deploying the application to the web server you will need to make your changes to the original app folder '$OBI_HOME/web/app/res/*' and then follow the below guide to create the web archive to deploy to the presentation server i.e. oc4j or WebLogic.

Changes are not visible

I have to change an existing application from another developer. The application is developed on DEV and is running there. I can edit everything in the apex but nothing is visible on DEV. Only new created items are visible on DEV, but only for me.
Have got anybody an idea what the problem is?

So you can't see themes, templates, pages, regions, tabs, processes, ..., only items (page items, I assume) that have been created since some particular date?

After 14.2:
Neither options work...
Just cant read cookie in javascript - but I am sure cookies work because on other api calls cookie is sent to server...
And I am sure that cookies options 'httpOnly' is set to false.
Even in chrome debugger under 'network' tab I cant see any cookies returned from server after api call.
Did Adobe change something with cookie management?
I need this to allow user to remember his account and auto login in extension. I know that cookies persist only during Host session but before 14.2 I could at least read cookie, save it to the file and after Host Application restart read the file and add cokkie to ajax call header... Now I cant do anything...

This is a known issue of CEP (Common Extensibility Platform, a DLL that supports displaying extensions). Code like “document.cookie” in HTML extension is invalid because CEF (CEP integrated CEF3 to display HTML Extensions) intentionally disables cookies on "file://..." for a variety of reasons.
However, CEP stores cookies at:
Windows: "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Temp\cep_cookies"
Mac: "/Users/yourusername/Library/Logs/CSXS/cep_cookies"

Why buttons are not visible on many web sites? They are there and function properly if I happen to find them, but the problem makes life difficult.

The problem occurs on many public sites like Finnair, Gites-de-France etc. I can see only white on the screen. Sometimes it is possible to find the button by guessing where it might locate.

Changes made in Camer Raw are not visible in Bridge

I'm editing the RAW images in Camera raw started from Bridge (Ctr- R). By returning to Bridge with "done" the changes are not visible. This worked until recently.
s there any setting which prevents Bridge taking in consideration the info from the XMP file ?
Re-starting Camera Raw I can see the changes from the previous session ...

Modified changes to ESS DC are not visible

Hello Experts,
I have imported the DC and checked out. I have modified essusfam~sap.com by adding a text field and input label. Saved all my changes and tried to deploy the code from the context menu in webdynpro explorer. NWDS prompts for SDM pasword and later I see the deployment sucessfull. But, the changes are not visible. Just want to know if I am missing any steps before deployment. or do I need to follow any more steps.

Web template changes are not saved.

Hello Experts,
I making a small change to an existing Web Template namely changing the tab page 1 to tab page 2 and vice versa.
I could see the message Changes are saved but at the end web template is same like as it was.
Any idea why changes are not being saved and how to over come this will be of great help.

WBS tabs are not visible

I cannot see the tabs on my WBS. They have all disappeared. How can I make them visible? Only the dates tab is visible. All other tabs are not visible i.e Basic Data any idea why these are not visible for this project profile?

Check your configuration for "Define Layout of WBS Element Detail Screens" .
In this work step you define your own view of the detail screens. In the standard system every detail screen is on its own tab page.
With your own layout you can position several detail screens on one tab page and only show the tab pages, you need. You define each tab page individually and assign it a profile to

Not able to get profit center in ODS

Hi ,
For a materila number we are not able to get profit center in Billing ODS.
In PSA we have profit center for that material.
Transfer rules: profit center mapped to 0PROFIT_CTR field.
Update rules: 0profit center mapped to source fields profit cneter .
Data source : 2LIS_13_VDITM.
But profit center we are unable to get into ods. No routine contains restrictions for profit center. How can we geet the profit center.

Take a look at your ODS key, Grab a few records from your ODS that are incorrect and look them up in the PSA. My guess is that Profit Center is not part of the key and you are getting two records for your key .... the last one doesn't have Profit Center filled.
If you really want profit Center, you can make it part of the key, but since I am unsure of your data, key or scenario, it is hard to say what exactly the best solution would be.

Mail doesn't support notes. If you use iCloud, you have them in it because Notes is an application

In PC I have changed the default app location from default to other and copied the previous content to new location and changed the Default location in preference. Now in iTunes, my previous apps are not visible. Is there any solution to this?

The date update from TFS online are not visible on Project pro

I updated the start date and the finish date from TFS online, i saved and refresh the page. Then On the Project pro i clicked on refresh. The update are not visible on project pro.
I don't no why because when i change the title of the task from TFS online. the update is visble on Project pro.

SAP Script for PO works in test mode but changes are not shown on PO

I've modified the sapscript for the Purchase order.When I go to se71 and print test it the chage is visible.But when I actually see the attachment in mail chages are not visible.

Hi Venkat,
Plz activate the debugger & check if the window where you have made ur changes (text element & texts) is getting executed or not. Debugging will help you to know whether or not the change is triggered.. & Also as to know why its not triggered.. (may be there are some codes above thats working differently when you display the PO at runtime.
To debug the script.. on the tcode SE71 ---> Utilities --> Activate Debugger
