There's powered by  -52Vdc, but there's a problem, sometimes occurs failures, ESR-HH-GE cards suddenly crashes, the FAIL led is on and that's yellow color, but it doesn't works. We replace cards for this cases, and the service is OK, but this occurs again in the same slot or different slots, each 2 or 3 months aprox., or maybe one. Thanks for your help.

  • Why is FCP 6.0.6 crashing suddenly?

I have been editing with FCP 6.0.6 for over a year now without any problems and in the last week or so it has crashed several times a day. I can usually edit for few hours in the morning without trouble, but then it starts crashing about every 30 minutes. The crashes aren't happening during rendering or any sort of hardcore processing...just as I am working on the timeline. I would love some help! I can post the crash report if that will help.
    Thanks in advance!

When is the last time you cloned your boot drive and reinstall the OS and Final Cut Studio?
It is something to consider if it has been about a year or so.
    Any way:

  • Why are my iTunes and iPhoto crashing every time I try to open them?

Why are my iphoto and itunes crashing every time I open them?  This is a new problem on my Mac Mini.  Have the latest software on my Mac Mini and the latest iLife sotware.  My mac mini is about 5 years old, always kept up to date.
Processor  2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory  2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics  Intel GMA 950 64 MB
    Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b)

    Hello Majorie,
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Also, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive?
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
    Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.

  • (bootcamp) graphics card crash when playing games

Firstly apologies if I've put this in the wrong section of the forum... this is the most applicable I could find.
Having tried to enquire at the good folks of AMD, they told me I needed to see apple. Finding a support email is nigh on impossile - so either that or advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated!
I have a boot camp partition on a mid 2011 macbook pro - my graphics card is Radeon HD 6750M.
I have recently been experiencing graphics card crashes when playing games.
There is no boot camp update available, so I am forced to update the driver manually. Trying to use the automated detection/installation tool on the ATI site resulted in the error "your computer doesn't have a proper graphics adapter"
When I located and downloaded the mac bootcamp drivers from the ATI site site, and I tried to install these it was unable to detect my existing microsoft C++ distributable or install its own - so the installation failed.
    All advice welcome!

yeah - it *might* have fixed my issue - or at least it hasn't crashed yet... jynxed it now ofcourse ;p I have acouple of questions though...
Why did this just start happening - I've played other games and this game before without these crashing issues?
I'm worried about configuring this fan thing correctly - lots of 'if your hardware gets damages it's not my problem' warnings on the software site. I know there's only 4 options - how do I ensure I select the right one? ie I thought I had a unibody macbook pro but it can't find the second GPU?

  • Firefox crashed suddenly and now it won't open at all. Please help

Firefox crashed suddenly and now it wont open at all. When I click the icon all I get is the spinning pinwheel and have to force quit the program. I've tried rebooting the computer, uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, it won't open in safe mode....it wont do anything at all. Please help.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
    * https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

    Hi J,
    - Do you see an AICC splash screen? If yes then could you please let us know where exactly it crashes i.e. while loading which plugin or font?
    - Do you have any 3rd party plugins installed? Can you please remove those (do take a backup of them) and see if AI launches fine? This way you would be able to find the plugin creating the problem.
    - Did you install any OS or Ai update after which it started showing the problem?
    - Please check if you have all the Verdana family fonts installed.
Let me know if any of these work.
    Thanks,
    Dhirendra

  • My 12" powerbook logics card crashed. I have a 17". How do i retrieve my internet bookmarks from the 12" by putting it into Target mode on the 12" and looking into the hard drive on the 12"?

My 12" powerbook logics card crashed. I have a 17". How do I retrieve my internet bookmarks from the 12" by putting it into Target mode on the 12" and looking into the hard drive on the 12"? Where on the 12" hard drive do I go to search for them?

If the 12's logic board is trashed, I don't think you can get into FireWire Target Disk Mode. The computer has to start to get to FWTDM. Will it starte and run at all?
If it won;t start, you will have to go inside and extract the hard drive. Then get this gadget:
Newer Technology Universal Drive Adapter USB 3.0/2.0 - connects any 2.5", 3.5" or 5.25" drive
It allows you to connect a bare drive to another computer that has USB. It will act just like an external disk drive. Assuming the 12's drive is not damaged due to the LB failure, you can retrieve files quickly.

  • Hi, I was importing pictures into iPhoto from my sd card and suddenly iPhoto quit.  Now it just won't open.  When I click on the iphoto icon in the dock, nothing happens!  Does anyone have a solution to this problem please?

Hi, I was importing pictures into iPhoto from my sd card and suddenly iPhoto quit.  Now it just won't open.  When I click on the iphoto icon in the dock, nothing happens!  Does anyone have a solution to this problem please?

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
If it does then your current library has been damaged and should be repaired: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I have a 50.00 itunes balance and I am unable to use it.  Why is it requesting credit card info when I try to purchase music?  I've already redeemed my gift card onto my itunes account, so I no longer have a code.

Because your credit card info is how itunes verifies your account.

  • Why doesn't the sd card or the usb connect to my mac ????

why doesn't the sd card or the usb connect to my mac plzzzz help meeeeeeeeeee

The reason no one has replied is that you posted in a little-viewed forum for an obsolete Apple software suite. I am asking the Hosts to move you to the MacBook Air forum.
Also these forums are NOT chat rooms so you will seldom get an instant answer. No one here works for Apple; we are end users like you who volunteer on a time-available basis to help our fellow Mac users. Patience is required here.

  • Why wont photos on SD Card download toiPad

Why wont photos on SD cards & flashdrives download to iPad?

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

  • Server JVM(1.4.2_11-b06 mixed mode) crashed suddenly by an Access violation

    and it happened only once.
(No access log was left in Apache's access log at the time of the crach, so it

Could anyone please help us solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

    user4815182 ,
You should start a new thread. The thread you added to was posted in 2007.
Also, what I would recommend is that you go to http://java.sun.com/webapps/bugreport/crash.jsp and follow the steps there, adding flags etc, to help identify or even solve the issue you are seeing.
The initial post indicated that they are using 1.4.2, which is super old. Bugs are fixed in releases that have higher numbers. I recommend that you run, or at least try, to run with the latest 1.7 release. The downloads can be found here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
If you you are convinced that you need 1.4.2, or there are other issues seen with 1.7, a more recent 1.4.2 release can be found in the archive. Please note that security vulnerabilities are fixed with each release. As 1.4.2 has reached the End of Public Releases, there has not been a new public release in a long time. Current 1.4.2 releases with vulnerabilities fixes can be obtained through a support contract http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/java/standard-edition/support/overview/index.html.

Why is it that my iPhone 4 suddenly lost the sound bar in music and YouTube?  I am able to make phone calls and hear everything just fine.  but otherwise my iPhone is silent.  It says that it is playing music, but no sound is emmitted, nor am I able to change this.

Not knowing what steps were included in "all the troubleshooting possible with Apple people," I'll suggest you give the phone a chance to reprovision your cellular account.
First turn off Wi-Fi. Then power off your phone. Hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the power off slider. Then slide to power off. Turn the phone back on. After the phone starts watch to see if No Serive is displayed. Hopefully after 15-30 seconds that will change to the name of your cellular service provider and finally indicate LTE or 4G as well as include some dots indicating signal strength. You can then turn Wi-Fi back on.

  • Why does my Adobe Audition keep crashing on my MacBook Pro?

Why does my Adobe Audition keep crashing on my MacBook Pro?  I've updated everything, and there are no other issues.  It is OS X and Audition CS6.  When I'm mixing a track, it will just shut down with a crash notice.  Very frustrating.

    Hi,
What is the crash notice you receive?  OS X is very good about keeping extensive, detailed crash logs.  If you launch Applications > Utilities > Console.app  and open the "User Diagnostic Reports" group on the left, can you drag the most recent Audition crash report into an e-mail to [email protected] ?  The contents of that file should make it more clear to us why Audiiton or the OS thinks a crash is happening and will help focus troubleshooting.
