Why did a file attach itself to sent mail without my clicking the attach button?
I sent an email that I did not attach anything to. When I checked my sent folder I saw there was an attachment on it. Clicking on the attachment opens the Adobe Reader and says the file is damaged.
This happened with a gmail address. When I checked it on gmail, there was no attachment.
Do I have a security problem?
If you see the message you sent on the server your account must be IMAP. Then it's not possible that you do see something different in Thunderbird than on the server. I guess you left something out in your problem description.
What kind of file is the actual attachment?

Most people don't have issues, but most people posting here do, obviously, why else would they come?
With regards to the way iTunes works (when it is working as it is supposed to) if you use the software the way the designers expected you to it all works out OK. The problems start with those of us who think things should work slightly differently and get then confused with the results. At that point you either have to learn to work the way the program expects you to, or work around it. I encourage people to do work with it, as is easier, but in practice I write scripts to enforce my will on iTunes.

I installed this same digitizer in my T|X some weeks ago. Some discussion of my experience may be found in this Usenet posting and subsequent thread.
The stock digitizer in my T|X had always had some significant alignment issues (for which PowerDigi was able to compensate very nicely) and sensitivity which was uneven, but which usually required a heavier touch than I liked.
Eventually, it began to develop a “dead spot” near the upper left. My T|X was under warranty, so I probably ought to have sent it in to Palm to be repaired, but I wasn't willing to be without it for the required amount of time, and I've heard enough reports of other T|X owners getting unsatisfactory results this way. I'd heard enough good reports about the PDAPARTS.COm digitizer, that I decided that the only acceptable way to repair my T|X would be to install one of those.
After however many weeks it has been, I am still very pleased with the results. It continues to work flawlessly; it is much more sensitive, so it doesn't require nearly so heavy a touch, and I very much like the hard feel that it has, compared to the spongier feel of the stock digitizer.
My wife's T|X still has its stock digitizer, and it has so far not shown any of the same problems that mine did, or for which the T|X has become notorious, but the feel is noticeably inferior. She's content with it the way it is, but I think that if I were to ever buy another T|X for myself, I wouldn't wait for the stock digitizer to fail. The PDAPARTS.COM digitizer is simply superior in every imaginable way; and, in my opinion, a T|X with the PDAPARTS.COM digitizer installed is sufficiently superior to one with the stock digitizer (even if it isn't defective) to be very much worth the expense and trouble of installing it.

All of a sudden today my battery life just started dropping off on my iphone 4s. I charge it every night. I double clicked the circle button on the bottom to see what was running and there was minimal running but i turned them off anyway. I checked back in a little bit, the same, turned the couple things off again which were like phone and messages... nothing major running. Battery percentage still plummeted til it just turned off.

I think one of your apps is causing this.
The only way to find out is to delete them all and then add them one by one to see what app maybe causing this.
Especially if you've gone thru 3 iphones already.
When you restored as new - did you sync back your stuff - apps/music or did you restore from backup? -

sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
And if it doesn't work still after that, as much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

I did the latest iTunes update...I have 2 iPhones--each thru a different provider. Now, I can't sync to download any music from iTunes. iTunes doesn't recognize either device now. I went thru diagnostics, didn't work. I tried the suggestions from Apple...it says to click the device button in upper right corner....there isn't one. When I connected each for the first time after update, it "installed device drivers". I have checked for further updates on iTunes--nothing. I made sure there were no updates listed for iPhones...all up to date. I get an error code and from what I have looked through in forums etc, it seems like a lot of people are getting it...0ex000084 I believe it was. Windows opens to download photos but that's it. Devices are not listed at all. I have tried all 3 USB ports in computer too. I have never had any problems before this update!! HELP! I just bought $15 worth of music I can't download to phones now!
On the left hand side of iTunes do you have the sidebar up left hand side?
If this is not up then try this, with iTunes open press "Control" and "s" together and it should bring it up. From the sidebar it should show an option devices with the iPhones underneath it. -
For example, when I create a message in my autoresponder service and want to attach an image a new window opens up so I can enter the details of the image (url, position, alt text). When I click the Save button, the information is captured but the window remains open and I have to manually close it.

Speedy machine this one :P Yep, that change completely sorted the issue, just opened about 741 new tabs through the shortcut on my mouse just to celebrate. How do I permanently delete music files from itunes AND my computer (without going to the folder to delete each item)? It's a windows system. I've tried 'reset all dialogue warnings' as I've been told to do but no luck. Files are still in Itunes folders. I would really appreciate help!
Solved! Music was in Itunes folder but not in Media folder within that. It doesn't seem like a very user friendly system so far!

Why do I have to click the go button after typing a URL? Before FF6 I could just hit enter.
I just recently updated to Firefox 6. Before the update, I was able to type a address into the URL bar and hit return. Nice and easy. Now if I do this I get no response. To direct to a web page I have to move my cursor to click the go button. It's annoying and a waste of time. What happened here? Any way I can change things so I can just hit enter again?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Hello! I have the Acrobat XI test version installed, got the registration Mail and confirmed it. When i have the program opened and try to convert the file from a pdf to a word and press the convert button, it shows a the message "application failed" (in german "Fehler bei der Anmeldung"). yes, you are right. it is the adobe reader via exportPDF. but it should be the acrobat. it was written on the internetpage...
