Why did Adobe remove link action "Go to a page in another document"???

When linking documents, you used to be able to link to another document and tell Adobe which page to open on. Example: I want to link document A to document B but I want document B to open on Page 2 instead of 1. That option does not exists anymore under Actions, execute menu option. It was very helpful and I would like it back.

Yes but when I click Set Link it's only for the opened document. Not the document I need. And when I try to edit the link, i only get option for name destination which doesn't work. Below is what I am used to seeing which is not available anymore it appears:

Where can I find the plugins folder when I have opened PSE13? I miss it in this version! If so why did Adobe removed it? Then this version has no use to me.

I just purchased PSE13 and after installing I noticed that I can't find my plugins while I could easily open it in my PSE11. Why did Adobe removed it??? If so I think I will install PSE11 again.
Kind-a weird that this version doesn't have a plugin-use anymore.

I have Windows 7 Professional X86 and I also noticed that PSE13 was installed in my 'normal' program files folder instead of the X86 program files folder. PSE11 used the X86 programfiles folder. I dunno why though!

Hyperlink with an action 'Go to a page in another document' in IE browser.

When the PDF Document is opened in IE, Clicking on a Hyperlink with an action 'Go to a page in another document' is not navigating to the proper destination page.
This happens when the destination document is already opened in IE once and cached.

I am unable to replicate this at my end. I am using Acrobat 11.0.10 on Windows 7 and IE11
Below are the steps I followed :
Create a link and select the "Custom link" option, click "Next", select the "Options" tab, select "Go to page view", click the "Add: button, open the file to the page you want to link to, click the "Set link" button.

As far as I remember you couldn't do it in PAges 09 and Pages 5 has lost over 90 features that Pages 09 has so I would say no you can't. I can't test it right now. I had a quick look in the help (http://help.apple.com/pages/mac/5.0/?lang=en) and could find that you could link to another document from anywhere let alone a table cell.

Why did adobe remove variations?

Many have acknowledged this, and the workarounds to get variations working again in Photoshop...but can Adobe please tell us why this was removed? was there a functional need for it to be removed? is there an equivalent replacement tool?

Will someone please tell me why Adobe would remove such a useful feature as the “File>Attach to Email...” from the Link Properties dialogue box under the “Execute a menu item” - “Add” options list. The idea of an improved version, Acrobat X, is to add utility not make it less useful.

Direct access to menu items isn't the preferred method to execute functions available via the JSAPI, you should simply trigger the JS function on a button or link:

Why did adobe remove MediaPlayback

My biggest concern with moving to Flex 2 is the lack of
components from 1.5, specifically MediaPlayback. It was working
just fine, you'd load an FLV, and you'd get a preloader, media and
volume controls. Now, in version 2, if I want to load a video, I
have to create my own controls and sliders. Is there logic behind
removing the MediaPlayback, or is it purely a marketing
decision?

Why did Adobe remove the Site Map Tool in CS4?

Is there a better, faster way to wireframe? I could wireframe a prototype 20 page website for testing in about 5 minutes using this tool. I doubt there is a faster way but there is probably a better way. What are some of the best practices on wireframing. Obviously, I am out-of-date if Adobe drops my main tool for wireframing.

The original announcement that the Site Map was going to be dropped was made in August 2007, and had this to say:
there are many features in the application that require significant

"Bring back Site Map" is likely to fall on deaf ears, but "provide a simple wireframing tool for site development", with an explanation of how you envisage it working and the benefits it would offer other users, could bring a completely different response.

Why Did Adobe Remove CS6 Tutorial Videos but Leave References to them In "Help" topic articles

For example: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/create-panoramic-images-photomerge.html#create_360_ degree_panoramas_photoshop_extended references a video tutorial, http://tv.adobe.com/#vi+f1577v1001 which does not exist.
Further, the tutorial references a command that is not even in Photoshop Extended:
"6. Choose 3D > New Shape From Layer > Spherical Panorama."
So, between eliminating all the Online Help content for CS6, and downloadable PDFs for CS6, Adobe is leaving false trails to non-existent commands and tutorials in order to increase their extortion pressure on "perpetual license" holders to go for the Creative NOT-Cloud. This makes me even more determined never to put another penny in Adobe's pocket.

Why did adobe vanish the Adobe Image ready from their package?

There used to be a a software called Adobe Image ready in the Adobe suite. it really made small animation and web animation very easy with the facility of main frame and time line . But I am a bit confused why did adobe remove it from the new suites? What should I use instead?

When loading Elements 10 why did it remove my Nic Software add-ons in Lightroom 3?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Nic programmes but no success. And it is all now so slow that i am thinking of reinstalling everything. With Windows 7, 8 gb of memory and and i5 Intel processor, my computer should be able to handle this. Elements 7 was already there and working well, so I must have done something wrong. Any suggestions?

Hi, After installing NIK plug-ins, Please check on C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets folder.Here you can see some Nik- plugins templates , open any template in Notepad and see "ExternalEditorFullPath" verify this path is right and whether .exe file is present at this location or not.Also verify the status of this path and .exe location after using the PSE.I am confident, this is the issue of file path mismatch. Why did Adobe see fit to eliminate, "Print Without Color Mangement"?

Why did Adobe see fit to eliminate, "Print Without Color Mangement", and when are they going to restore it? None of their workarounds is really adequate when printing through a rip. Prior to CS5 it was all so simple. Now, I keep CS4 onboard just for printing. Is there actually a good rationale for the elimination of such a useful function?

Adobe was forced to remove the NCA mode because the current OS X Mac print pipeline and print drivers quit supporting it. Photoshop CS5 & 6 and LR 3 & 4 can't send unmanaged data to the Mac pipeline; it'es either application managed color or printer managed color and iehter case, the data gets modified by the pipeline–which means the current apps can't send data with NCM.
The printer utility can do a workaround to do so.
Note, this isn't yet an issue on Windows but for cross platform uniformity, it was removed there as well. So, if you want to yell at somebody, go yell at Apple...
And no, it ain't coming back...

These two things need to be remedied in their upgrades because It's become such a bother I've had to revert to older versions of PS.

Yea, and it's a pain to get to. What was the rational for removing the print size button? With the magnifying glass tool selected in older versions of Photoshop you would get a button that says "print size" right next to Actual pixels, Fit Screen, Fill Screen. Now I have to go out of my way and dig for it if I want to see the print size. Of all the buttons you could have taken away, why not fill screen? I never use that.
Besides the point I just downloaded the Oct Upgrade for PS and surprise! Nothing has changed and these are two big black eyes on newer versions of Photoshop. The Brush preview window is unchanged in CC but in CC2014 it's basically worthless. If you apply a texture to a brush you can't properly see the scale of the texture, the spacing, scatter, etc...
