Why did ios7 ruin my musical experience on my ipad?

I like some things about the new ios7, but 2 changes are ruining my music experience on the ipad.
1. I am no longer able to swipe to the next or previous song.
2. I used to be able to change to full screen mode with my album art and now I cannot and the album art is a lot smaller than it used to be.
I don't care for these changes at all.

Agreed! There is no way to view full screen album art in ios 7. The closest we can get is the lock screen where the album art is slightly larger, but entering the lock screen to view album covers is rediculous.
Another huge dissapointment is that every tab (Artist, Album, Genre ect.) is in a list view. What is the point of multiple tabs when they all could be under one tab with a sorting feature? I would like to see the tabs have at least a list view and a grid view with options to orgonive by track name, artist name genre; more like how iTunes works. Also the entire ipad experience is less unique now and is basically a wider version of the iPhone software.

On your phone, go to settings> App Store and iTunes> Turn on Automatic downloads for Music. This should cause music purchases made on other devices to be downloaded automatically to phone.

How and why did iOS7 obtain geographic location information on my photos?

I have always kept location services turned off for the iPhone camera. Now, after the iOS7 update, all my photos on my iPad and some on my iPhone are organized into collections by year and include specific geographic location. That's information that I expressly didn't want collected and which should not have been embedded in the photos. What is the point of turning off location services if Apple will let it track/record that information anyway in the camera/photos app, if not others?

That depends on how it is configured in the app, PJL. You can set it up to include the trash icon and go directly to Trash. Both my gmail and icloud accounts are set up that way.

Why did I lose my music when I download and sync a movie

We're new to ipods and itunes. We had a couple songs on our ipod and wanted to get a movie. It took us awhile to figure out how to sync it, but when we did, we got a message that said it would clear out our other libraries. I should have kept the exact message, but I didn't. I figured, OK, we'll just resync for the music again and went ahead. After resyncing after the movie, I was charged again for the music.
Now, my son bought new music and synced it, but lost the movie we downloaded. Why does it do that and how can I avoid it?

could be. I haven't heard that cables stopped working just that you recieve a message on screen before they don't work. Not just out of the blue stopping. Did you get a pop-up message when you first plugged in the iphone after upgrading to ios7?

The S5 was PERFECT until Lollipop installed. Now? I have no end of glitches and it drains my battery much faster. What is the obsession that companies have with "improving" something when, in fact, they rarely do? When my last phone went to Kit Kat it was, essentially, a paperweight which is why I switched to the S5. I HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iPhones but at least you only have to deal with the update nightmare once a year with them. STOP! Or at the very least, make it an option. If people are happy with the OS they have...leave us alone!

I agree. Verizon and Samsung both blamed each other and then they blamed Google. In my eyes, shame on all of them for releasing and rolling out an update that clearly wasn't ready, nor was it properly beta-tested by ANY of the companies. It's completely preposterous in this day and age to release a product of such subpar standard! I've worked for engineering companies where anything happening like this (even HALF as bad) would result in heads rolling (immediate job loss). Everyone I know that updated to lollipop is suffering

Just updated my OS to os5...why did all of my music and video file turn into an "other" file and how do I fix it?

I just updated to OS5 and all of my video and music files are gone and now I have an inaccessible "other" file about the size of the of the old music and video files. When I go to sync music files in itunes they never show up on the phone. Help!

Never mind. Just read some similar questions and tried restoring it to backed up version and now everything seems to be working. What a relief!

I recently updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 7.0.3 and once I plugged it into my PC, an option came up requiring that I update and restore it or cancel and I clicked update and restore and it said it would delete all media and I couldn`t cancel since my phone was locked into the update so I followed through. After I had access to my phone again I had to restart it and all my apps, pictures were deleted. Why is that and can I get my pictures back?

Why dud Apple go out of its way to destroy the readability of almost all aspects of my iPad 2 display? I wish I could go a k to the old version.
I did adjust the accessibility options as much as possible, but this so-called upgrade is pretty bad.

Why isn't my uploaded music showing on my iPad?

Sorry, but I am a novice when it comes to this stuff.
First, my 'home' for my iTunes is my all-in-one PC at home. Have uploaded probably 150 CD's properly into iTunes. Those are properly showing up on my home computer. No issues there.
Second, so far I have downloaded probably 35 individual songs from iTunes. Those also are properly showing up on my home computer. No issues there.
From there, I also have an iPad. I have downloaded iTunes onto the iPad, and I know I have the most recent update to iTunes. I followed steps for Home Sharing, but when I open my music on the iPad's ITunes, the only music showing up are the 35 individual songs that I have downloaded. Nowhere can I locate the 150 CD's I properly uploaded into my iTunes account.
What am I doing wrong here? How can I get the 150 CD's to show up on my iPad? Do I need to do more than just Home Sharing, like iCloud?
I am obviously stuck.

I'm dump founded that Apple didn't include all the iPads for OS6 update. And not put Siri on all the iPads Why?
Can anyone tell me why....We all plaids the same prices for the iPads just different models...

I think it's down to the resources on the iPads. The new iPad is the only one that can push Siri with enough umph to make it work. I would have said the iPad 2 should be able to run it as we'll but obviously Apple don't think so.
I've got the new one so have been giving it a go and it's definatly got potential. My mother in law is blind so I'm hoping we can get her one soon.

I opened up pages on my iPad today after having ios5 for a week and I watched it delete all of my documents. It said that they were deleted from another device, which they were not. All of the documents on my iPhone also disappeared. I am going to try restoring from a backup, but what happened?

Same thing happened with my numbers document. Never have this problem with iDisk. I called Apple and no answer given. Use other ways to backup or stay with iDisk for the mean time.
