Why did my apple ipad bank charges disappear?

So, I pre-ordered two iPads on 3/7 and was immediately debited the charges from my bank. Today I looked and the charges have disappeared...that is, the money is still in my account. However, my ship date on my order still says they will arrive on 3/16. Any idea what's going on? I have the money in my bank account...it was debited and now the money is still there. Confused and not amused.

They did the same with me. (They even put it on 2 different charges, one for $829 and then another for 71.50 for tax) Both have been removed and the iPad shipped already.

why wont my apple ipad charge until its fully dead?

I would guess it is charging but perhaps not showing that it's doing so.
You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

If you are still having problems with your iPad, it is still under AppleCare.
Bring it into an Apple Store to have it diagnosed and repaired under warranty.

Because someone purchased something. This is a user to user forum. You will need to contact iTunes support for further information. https://getsupport.apple.com/Issues.action

Why did my screen crack while charging? It hasn't been dropped, every time I charge it a new crack appears I'm tired of this it's only a year old! If its not covered under warranty never again will I go apple I've had nothing but issues so far.

We can't answer that. Maybe the battery is bad and is swelling inside the phone. Maybe someone else dropped it and didn't tell you about it.
Make an appointment at the genius bar and see what they say.
If it's over a year old, then it's not covered under warranty.

  • Why did the Apple 'genius' tell my my bulging battery was normal?

Why did the Apple 'genius' tell my my bulging battery was normal

The battery has a cycle count of 101 and is listed in good condition and @ 2 years old.  The 'genius' said it was 'normal' and NOT defective.  And was probably because I left it plugged in most of the time.
I remined him how the lithium ion battery and its associated charging system are supposed to be very sophisticated and are reported to not overcharge the battery and to extend its life. I also cited where I had read that the swelling usually occurrs when a battery does not ventilate properly,
I asked him why the five other Apple laptops I owned for years never had that 'normal' condition.
I pretty much got the dumb deer-in-the headlights stare.

  • Why did the Apple Store replace the iPad mini when the firmware was corrupt -- why not just fix the firmware?

The iPad mini would not turn on - so I scheduled an appointment with the Genius Bar. Why did they say the only solution was a replacement iPad mini- couldn't the firmware be corrected (re-installed or something?)
    Problem Description/Diagnosis
    Issue: iPad display is black
Steps to Reproduce: Plugged into the computer to do a restore and there was an error message saying the firmware is corrupt
Cosmetic Condition: iPad appears to be in good condition
    Contact Apple Support Case: 697280685
    Employee 929551133

The iPad mini was not still under warranty -- so they charged me $199 -- and I did not ask because the way they said it, there was not an option. When I got home and checked, it appears that there should have been an option to re-install the firmware.

  • Why did a whole bunch of apps disappear from my iPhone!?

A great many apps, a number which I cannot guess, have suddenly disappeared from my iPhone upon sync with the new iTunes 9. After this sync, I installed iPhoneOS 3.1 and sync'd again. The apps are simply gone. They're not in my trash bin. They're not in my Home Directory. They are still in my Home Directory under ~/Music/iTunesLibrary/Mobile Applications
Why have they disappeared from my iTunes Library? Why did I see a message stating they were being removed from my iPhone? What gives? Some of my most used applications were simply removed without my permission.
What happened to the Apple Macintosh "It Just Works" slogan? Apple's software of late has not done what I want, and tries to think on its own. Stop that! Do what I say. When I click, you jump. When I don't click, don't jump.

I just experienced this same **** problem! I synced my iphone with my computer (like normal), i noticed it was taking a while to sync so I canceled it only to find that ALL OF MY APPS ARE GONE! I'm glad i stopped it because it started to delete my music. and even the folder that I had associated with my itunes library is not showing up in itunes. It surely is an itunes problem, not an iphone problem. I am aware that I can re-download them one by one for free but I want them all back with out hours of doing that! they are even gone from my applications file in iTunes. I'm with you in that apple really has abandoned that whole, "it just works". because it does not "just work". They try to use itunes to lock down their **** but it just turns out to be a pain. I want to know of a place in my account that I can simply go to download all my apps at once?! apple can be so smart sometimes, but so stupid other times and very user unfriendly with regards to the iphone. thumbs down apple.

  • Why won't my iPad 2 charge above 50%?

I recieved my iPad 2 as a gift in October of 2011. Up until now I've had no problems. Yesterday I had depleted my battery to about 7%, so I plugged it in for at least 4 hours while I went for a walk. When I came back the gauge said only 50%. I used it again and ran it to about 15% and plugged it in overnight; this morning it still says only 50%. The icon is showing that the battery is charging, but it's still depleting as I use it. Tried shutting down and restarting; still losing battery. I even tried shutting down all my apps (except Safari so I can research this); same thing. Any suggestions? The nearest Apple store is nearly 300 miles away, thankfully I'll be heading in that direction soon if I can't resolve this on my own.

Are you using the wall charger?
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • Why won't my ipad 2 charge

I am having trouble with my iPad to be charged please can someone reply a good strategy that would help it ? I need it for school tomorrow

Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.

  • Why won't my Ipad 3 charge from my computer?

I can charge my Wifi IPad 3 from my outlet but it won't charge from my computer, does anyone know how to fix this?

Your computer probably doesn't provide sufficient current through the USB port to charge the iPad, or charges it only very slowly. Unless you can install a different USB card that provides more current, if any exist that would work in your system, there's nothing you can do other than use the AC adapter.
    Regards.

  • Why did my Apple TV password stop working suddenly and why does changing my iTunes account password online not fix the problem?

My iTunes account password suddenly stopped working. Strangely, it still works when I sign into iTunes but does not work when I try to purchase a movie through Apple TV. I followed the instructions to change my password and that still didn't fix the problem. Anybody encounter this? What's frustrating is that Apple wants to charge me a fee for tech support. You mean I have to pay them to help me give them more money to buy temporary content through my Apple TV? Anywho, please assist if you can.

Have you tried restarting, the Apple TV, your router and your mac or PC.
