Why did my Apple TV password stop working suddenly and why does changing my iTunes account password online not fix the problem?
My iTunes account password suddenly stopped working. Strangely, it still works when I sign into iTunes but does not work when I try to purchase a movie through Apple TV. I followed the instructions to change my password and that still didn't fix the problem. Anybody encounter this? What's frustrating is that Apple wants to charge me a fee for tech support. You mean I have to pay them to help me give them more money to buy temporary content through my Apple TV? Anywho, please assist if you can.
Have you tried restarting, the Apple TV, your router and your mac or PC.

Sounds like you inadvertently have the Add Anchor Point tool active. Click and hold to get the full selection and choose the "regular" Pen tool at the top. (Or, just tap the P key.)

After the last update iTunes no longer works... "This application failed to start because MSVCF80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" I tried and it did not fix the problem?

Delete the following folders:

Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility, Open it and Select the MAC HD and then click on Repair permissions.
After that try to run the cleaner tool as mentioned by kglad.
Restart machine and then try to install again.
*** Make sure , you only delete these folders if there is no other adobe applications installed on the machine. As if you have any other Adobe application of the suite ( not free applications ) then it will be a problem. -

When I connect my iPhone to my PC it is not recognised and iTunes does not open. When I connect my iPod to the same PC everything works perfectly. I conclude that the problem is not on the PC or with iTunes. Switching off and rebooting the iPhone and the PC does not fix the problem. Any suggestions??

If you can get them paired again try making them "favorites" from the Bluetooth system preferences.
Try smc and pram reset too. May gave to do this before you can get them paired. -
I have uninstalled iTunes several times and reinstalled it on my PC running Window 7 with all updated loaded. When I click on the iTunes Store Box, Nothing happens except for a message that reads:
iTunes has stopped working.
The following items give me a choice, but no answer comes up. The computer will shut down the website.
"Check online for a solution and close the program"
"Close the program."
There is an item below the box that is selectable for View problem details. When clicked a long list of items show up. I have listed some of the problems as written, but I do not understand them. I know the iTunes Store has been available on earlier versions of of iTunes but is not on this version. How can we go back and download an earlier version of iTunes?

Application Timestamp: 50c8fc7e"I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

Billed for Premium Tech Support That Did Not Fix the Problem
i too was scammed last night by a premiun tech support rep...he assured me that the problem i was having with my pc
could be repaired and pursuaded me to purchase the 10 month plan for $14.00 month also said if i canceled prior to the 10 mos i would be charged a $59.99 fee.......I told him I would sign up if he could assure me the pc problem would be resolved.
He also assusred me that if it could not be resolved to ask to be transfered to the billing department to cancel the the plan I confirmed this with him at least 3 times and he assured me I would not have to pay and I could cancel with no monetary obligation if the problem on my pc could not be resolved....well it was not and my computer was left in worse condition than when the premium support tech began working on it...the support tech worked on my computer for 3 and 1/2 hoursI was on the phone with him until 3:30 am....he apologized and said he did not expect the outcome of what happened to my computer. well needless to say when i called billing i was told I was liable for the $59.00 early cancelation fee it did not matter that the tech did not repair the problem or that he left my computer in worse condition than when he began working on it.........so technically what they are saying is that I have to pay for them creating problems on my pc that did not exist before I called them I The sales rep I spoke to was "scott : he said he was in massachusetts..I spoke with Eric in BIlling and he said he would note on my account what I had told him and asked me to call after the charge appears on my phone bill to see if i could have it removed...i also called billing again today and spoke with another billing rep and she said she also would note my problem on my account and that hopefully the $59.00 fee would be removed..it is very disppointing to know that Verizon Hires people that lie to consumers.....all of their employee conversations to customers need to be recorded and monitored. I received a recorded message from verizon this am asking if i was satisfied with the service i received from tech suppoort with #1 being the least satisfed which of course described my experience with them. If My tele phone bill does not reflect the cancellation of the $59.00charge I will definitly pursue this matter further....I was also billed on July 15, 2014 for tech support that did not fix my computer problem.
I was billed $99.99 to my credit card to a tech in the country of India.
I tried to get my money back but the number I was referred to would not answer.
I immediately went to my bank which took all of the info and changed my credit card number.
The bank also did their own investigation and said it seemed to be a scam. My money was redeposited into my account within 36 hours - not because of anything Verizon did, but my BANK!! I was so grateful.
Such service from Verizon's tech department is unethical and inexcusable.
Verizon customers deserve better tech service than this. "Ma Bell" would turn over in her grave if she knew how far down the service of the original phone company has gone. It's a disgrace!! A SCAM perpetuated and sanctioned by Verizon.
I complained to the Verizon Customer Correspondance Claim Dept. Do you think they will straighten this mess out? I doubt it - I am a retiree with an excellent payment record.
They don't care. This hurts the American economy. -

The same story. No 3G after updating to 6.1. Told my daughter temporarily not to do an update on her iPad with 6.01. We've exchanged SIMs. I inserted her SIM in my iPad - 3G appeared immediately. And my SIM in her iPad with ios 6.01 also WORKS FINE. We use the same provider - Megafon Moscow. After attempting to revert SIMs to original configuration, 3G disappeared on my iPad again. Don't know what's going on with SIM during the update to 6.1

Why did my phone's airplay stop working when I updated to ios 6.1.1
I recently updated my iPhone 4S to the new operating system ios 6.1.1, and I now cannot connect my phone to my apple tv through airplay. I still can connect my wife's iPhone (3GS) to the apple TV, so I know it is not a network thing or something like that.
Does anyone know of a solution?
If you use airplay with you apple TV, I would reccommend holding off on the update until this error is fixed.Today, I did a restore on my iPhone 4S, then reinstalled ios 6.1.1. My airplay works now as I had set it up as a new phone instead of restoring the from one of the backups.
Sometimes when a person restores a phone from one of the backups, you will just reinstall the previous problem. I also did not setup iCloud when I reinitialized my phone for I did not want the processing to be impeded.
I'll setup iClould later and see if that causes airplay to stop working as I think that was the cause.
I believe the problem was that there was just too many apps running in the background and too little ram and/or processing power left for airplay. With the new ios 6.1.1, it probably takes up more processing than previous versions and just enough to shutdown airplay and keep it from running.
Miket502, you might have a simular problem. I'm not telling you what to do with your phone, but it may be a solution to do what I did. -

CS2 dodge tool stopped working as set, yet Burn, Sponge, Clone Tools all work; dodge tool leaves centered white specks if clicked multiple times; all my CS1 tools work; all my CS2 & CS1 tool settings are same (0 hardness, 20% exposure), rebooting does not fix; can anyone help? Is it possible to create this problem by accidentally typing Shift, Alt or Ctrl "," or "." or similar whilst using CS2 Dodge Tool? Thanks in advance!
It's probably something to do with the tool's brush. If picking a brush preset (not just a brush tip) doesn't fix it then reset the Dodge Tool. Right-click on the tool's icon at very left of Options bar and pick Reset Tool.

Why did my brand new macbook stop working?
I bought a MacBook Pro 15" (not the Retina one) about four weeks ago.
A few days ago, it started freezing.
It doesn't matter what task if any is at hand - sometimes I'm running Chrome and sometimes only Finder.
There is no 'beach ball', there is no indication that anything is wrong. Except nothing works - the screen freezes, command+option+esc doesn't work - the only way to get it out of this state is a hard reboot.
Only change that happened between it working and not working: I installed my copy of Avid Media Composer 5.5 on there for work.
Tried uninstalling Avid - no change.
Pretty frustrated and just about ready to switch back to my trusty PC - half the price and twice the reliability.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

And based on this experience, you'll have to decide on the convenience of purchasing AppleCare before the year is out, to extend the coverage for an additional 2 years.

I'm working on a forms 6i to 10g upgrade project. Before we begin we want to audit our forms (about 200 in total). What I want to do is somehow find the form title of each form within my application. Is there an easy way to do this or can i create a
