Why did My Filters Disappear in CS2 Photoshop?

I was thrilled to have Photoshop back after losing My computer and software in a flood. I came here and DLed the CS2 software for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and After Effects. Though I haven't seen a problem with Illustrator and InDesign (yet), after working perfectly for about a month in Photoshop... Over half the filters stopped working!!!
Is there a way to get My fully functional Photoshop back? This is costing Me money - I can't replicate styles for customers.

Hi.. I've just found this post and I'm having a similar problem.
I lost my everything on my computer when it crashed last week. I've managed to re-install most things including my CS2 which I found on the site with a new rego. number. I downloaded the Flood filter from Flaming Pear site but it's not showing up in Photoshop... not greyed out.. just not there at all. My guess is that at some stage it's been updated but as I haven't heard back from them.. I'm hoping I can get some answers here.
I'm running a Mac. 10.6.8
Photoshop CS2
Flood from Flaming Pear. I still have my registration number.
and have just now downloaded Flood for classic which if I REALLY have too I can put onto my old classic Mac. 10.4.11
Ohhh... dear.. I've just tried to install Flood for classic on my old Mac. and it wouldn't work either
I'm following the prompts and diagrams.
Hope someone can help me here as I use Flood a lot.. I love it.

Have you deleted anything from your iTunes library ? Have you checked to see if they are still on your computer, but not listed in your iTunes library ?
If not then do they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading ? If they don't show there and others do and they are still in your country's store, then check to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If they are no longer in your store for redownloading (or you aren't in a country where music videos can be redownloaded) then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your library/downloads.

Make sure you have checked on your Device Settings > Sounds > Ringtones > they should appear under Ringtones categories and listed above the system ringtones that came with IOS.
If you still don't find them, uncheck 'SYNC TONES', sync then re-check SYNC TONES and sync again.

Why did my project disappear from the project library?

I recently finished a project, exported it to the "project file" in the Movie folder, and from there burned it to a disk. No problem. Since then, I have been thinking about making a couple of changes to the project, but when I opened the Project Library in iMovie, lo and behold, it was nowhere to be found. All of my other projects were there, but this one was gone.
I looked in the project file in the Movie folder, and there it was, along with the movie, but I can't edit it any further in its present location. If it were in the project library (where it belongs), I could certainly edit it, but I can't figure out how to get it back there, so to speak.
Two questions: first, why did it disappear from the Project Library, and second, what can I do about it now? I could always start from scratch (using clips in the Event Library), but that means doing everything over again, which I prefer not to do. Any ideas?

Why did my bookmarks disappear?

This is Firefox 4.0.1, on a Windows XP sp3 machine.
I've got two questions - one is the immediate problem that my bookmarks have all disappeared. Before I give up entirely, is there someplace maybe that I could look to find them?
The other is why? I do not recall doing anything except installing Java on my desktop. Does Firefox just suddenly decide on its own to delete bookmarks? Did Java do this?
I looked in the Profiles folder, and see only one profile, and it has only two folders in the backup directory - today and yesterday. I didn't manually do either backup. I remember I used to have at least one back up, because several months ago, I downloaded an app that would parse the xml from my bookmark backups. But I can't remember where those bookmarks are.
But what's with just having some website go in and start messing around with the data on my machine? It definitely creeps me out.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Why are Distort filters greyed out in Photoshop CC?

Trying to make a text spiral along a path using the Twirl filter in a Photoshop CC trial. All the distort filters are greyed out. Is this a feature not offered in the trial, or am I doing something else wrong?

Why did my AirPlay disappear from my iphone and macbook when trying to stream to Apple TV?

I have the newest gen Apple TV. I got it mainly to airplay from and mirror from my ios devices, and macbook. I soon learned that mirroring was not available as the have the last gen macbook, but that i could airplay using home sharing for everything in my itunes library including directly from my iphone running 6.0.1. I was enjoying that function most of all and then all of a sudden, it's just gone. The AirPlay icon is gone from my phone, and my apple tv no longer reads my macbook running latest version of mtn lion.
On the Apple TV, it keeps telling me to turn home sharing on, which it already is.
My Apple Tv is running the latest version. I have the latest version of mtn lion, as well as ios6. I am on the same network on all devices - did a test - test came back positive the tv is able to run apps successfully. Reset all devices, restarted all devices.
Is there a fix for this? There should be no reason why it's not functioning. Please help.

A guess:
Put your mouse on the word RECENT in the left hand pane. Then when the word 'Show' appears, click on it.

Under the View Menu select Show Mailbox List. I'm guessing Apple Mail has lost focus on which mailbox should be selected and that's why you are seeing a white screen.
If your message is really about not seeing folders (Smart Folders or your email server folders?), but you can see your mailbox please give more detail of attach a screenshot if that would help.
If your email is web based verify your folder structure is still there.

Why did my podcast disappear in the iTunes category

My podcast appeared in iTunes under the category specified its the XML doc. Then one day it disappeared. The podcast is still available in iTunes if I search it for it's name: "Chef Paul's Cookin' with Passion". I am wondering if I made a mistake in my .xml or if it just simply doesn't get enough taffic to keep it appearing in the category as it did when I first submitted. Can anyone answer this question?

I have the following keywords in my .xml file:

For the first couple of weeks it appeared when I typed them in the search and now it doesn't. Do you know if I am doing something wrong?
Also, does the positioning in iTunes relate to the quantity of traffic each podcast gets?

Did you have any e-mail account or other sort of sync account set up on the phone that has since signed out, deactivated or was deleted? Android's contact management system is broken down into layers. Contacts can be stored "On device" where Verizon Cloud will back them up. Other contacts will be stored on Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc accounts that are in essence, "Cloud Storage" items. If those accounts sign out or disconnect, the contacts will disappear. To fix, all you need to do is sign back into the account holding your contacts.
Alternatively, consider these contacts as hidden. If you hit your Menu button, there will usually be a Show/Hide Contacts. Make sure there are not any unchecked contact lists that may contain your contacts.

Why did my smartmailbox disappear?

I did the following in Mail (7.1) on OSX 10.9.1 (updated from 10.8):
1. Created a smartmailbox with a certain search criterion.
2. Fine. All the emails that match to my search criterion can be seen in the smartmailbox I've just created.
3. Quit the application Mail, and restart the Mail app again.
4. That newly created smartmailbox does not appear in the Mailbox List in the left pane. Why?
I guess something is wrong with any files in the Library, but I'm not sure.

Today, I noticed that my smartmailboxes function properly in the updated Mail (7.2).
OSX is also updated to 10.9.2 and some iissues with Microsoft Word seem to be resolved.
