Why did my i phone crash, then restart, then ask for activation and when i type my correct Apple ID it wont validate it
When i was facetiming my friend my phone had crashed, I could still hear her so i thought nothing of it, then all of a sudden my phone had restarted i thought it was nothing either due to it happening because its so old, then i checked and it told me to activate my phone , so i used my Apple ID and it didn't work even though it has been linked to my phone for 7 months, when i checked the email that was connected it wasn't even the same email, it was shorter, so now i dont know what to do help please. My iPhone is a 4s with IOS. 8
i had this problem, i turned off imessage, turned off phone, turned on phone, turned on imessage and let it reactivate.

Contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan. -
What is going on at Apple, mail keeps asking for a password, that when I enter, it ignores, my imac is telling me it cannot talk to the Yahoo server, but I can get through every time on Safari. This is driving me nuts!!!

i got problems with email, update,id,keyboard mistyping, wifi, they said they will send me one they never did, and don't reply anymore, after 55 days witha 3 years warranty. good luck. i swear it is true. -

Alright so mostlikely its going to be 2 things, Either the Apple mobile Device Service, or the Driver that is installed..
Disconnect phone- close iTunes
If you open up your services program - WIndows 7 = Click Start , Type Services, click the gear icon that says services, Locate apple mobile device service -click on it, then click stop service on the left side of the screen, then wait 20 seconds, now click Start service.
Reopen itunes - Reconnect phone - does it work? if not its gonna be the driver.
You will want to open up device manager - Click start - Right click on my computer -click properties - Click hardware tab -click device manager -Check under Universal Serial Bus controllers, Imaging Devices, Portalble devices, and Human interfaces - for anything that says "Apple" iPhone" iPhone Recovery" anything along those lines.
If you locate it Right click on it - click update driver -
Select "Browse my computer for driver software."
Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
Click the Have Disk button. Note: If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and then click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.
Click the Browse button and navigate toC:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Note: If using a 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7, navigate toC:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Double-click the "usbaapl"file. (This file will be called"usbaapl64"if you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see" usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers instead).
Click Open in the Have Disk window. Then, click Next and then Click Finish. Windows will install the driver. -

Why did I update my ios 6 through wifi only for it to ask me to connect to itunes and now its making me restore it? Will I lose everything?
It's in recovery mode. You don't have a choice. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If you didn't back it up, there is no way to recover it.

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them. -
I pre ordered a album and got songs then it came out so itunes sent me a confirmation and it said to go to available downloads and gave link so I did and it did nothing for me and when I went to the album I wanted it said it was purchased so how do I get my music and don't even see available downloads in the iTunes Store

I want to return my iPad 3, but I did not have an apple account at the time of purchase, and when I type in my order number and proceed to click "cancel order", it prompts me to log in with my apple I'd and then tells me that I am not authorised to do anything on the account in relation to the transaction. Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. i tried updating my ipod, and then it turned off, and then just said connect to itunes, and when i did, it said i had to restore it. so, i restored it, and it did nothing and still said connect to itunes. help?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Does it mean that I need to activate it with a SIM of one of the carriers that offers a contract and then I am free to use it with any SIM anywhere in the world?

I called up APPLE in UK as well, no help there either..
but.. I say.. its a SIM FREE phone for crying out loud, what is this ACTIVATION nonsense??
