Why did my iPad Air not finish the restore?
I had to restore my iPad Air to get it recognized on my PC running Windows 8. It erased everything so I had to reset the iPad to factory settings to get it to restore from the iCloud. Everything restored except Newstand, Facebook, and AOL, The staus for the apps for AOL and Facebook says waiting. For newstand there is no indifcation of the status. Please advise. Thank you.
When you restore from back up, the process will restore the OS and some initial data, it will then restart and allow you to use your device while the remaining data is downloaded and restored in the background.

So I have been trying to restore my iPhone 4s but iTunes will not finish the process. I have the latest versions in both my phone, iTunes and windows updates... I have restarted the iPhone, the comoputer and iTunes... I'm at a lost on what to do. The phone screen has the plug going toward the iTunes icon but when I do connect it to iTunes it does not restore. iTunes goes through the motions until it gets to "preparing iPHone to restore" after that it just kind of stays there for about half an hour and then it shoot out an error 2003 saying the iTunes couldnt' finish the process... I have all of my firewalls off too... Any suggestions?
I'd possibly say to check USB connections. Maybe another cable.
All else fails, you might try to restore on another computer. -
Why did the iPad Air not include the biometric scanner?
The iPhone 5s has a fingerprint reader... which is great. The iPad Air was released just recently, and does not have a biometric solution.
No way to know. And since we are not allowed to speculate on Apple's decisions here, there's reallly nothing we can say.

I found some information about encountering issues when trying to restore your iPod. These are for people getting a "An unknown error has occurred" error message, but the recommendations should still apply even if you're not getting that error:
To troubleshoot this issue, try the following solutions in this order:
Disconnect and reconnect your iPod to iTunes, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Restart your computer and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Try connecting your iPod to a different USB port, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended. For Windows computers, refer to Identifying USB 2.0 ports on your computer for instructions.
Remove any USB devices not manufactured by Apple that you have connected to your computer (it is not necessary to remove your keyboard or mouse). Then, attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Update to the latest version of iTunes, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Try to restore or update the iPod again using a different user account for your computer. For example, create a new test user account on the computer with admin rights, and with iTunes installed, try to restore/update the iPod. For instructions on how to do this, follow steps under the heading "Restore using a new user account" in this article.
Try disabling Disk Use on your iPod and attempt to restore or update the iPod again. If that doesn't work, try enabling Disk Use on your iPod and attempt to restore/update. Refer to Putting iPod into Disk Mode for instructions.
If using a Windows PC to restore or update your iPod, try to reregister ".dll" files as described under "Solution 1" in iTunes displays -50 error message when syncing iPod on Windows XP
If using a Windows PC, try to update or reinstall your Windows USB drivers, referring to the section titled "iPod only: Updating, or in some cases reinstalling, the drivers for your computer's USB interface may resolve this issue."

I Re cry bought an iPad Air 2 and the pictures from my original iPad air did not transfer. How do I get the pictures to transfer?
Restore the backup of the old iPad to the new one. That should transfer camera roll photos. If it didn't and you still have the old iPad, back it up to your computer using iTunes and restore that backup to the new iPad.

Crizzo is right, the best way to charge is with the included power block. That said, the USB cords are interchangable as far as an of us know. (just not power bricks, iPhone and iPod bricks put out 5W of power, the iPad wants 10W and will always say 'not charging' if plugged into less power than it requires even though it will charge, just very slowly)
If you have tried to charge your iPad - with the iPad charger - with multiple cables and multiple computers and get no joy then it's time to head to the apple store and have them check it out. The 30 pin USB port can go bad - mine did - and it's a manufacturer's defect (unless there's any sort of obvious damage) and should be covered under the warranty; -

To answer this question correctly, a user would need to have a DIR-635 router connected by Ethernet to a Belgacom router.
If you think about it, the chances of another user who has these two same devices configured this way and also being on an Apple support forum to see your post are about zero.
The following might work, but you will not know until you try.
Configure the DIR-635 to provide a wireless network that uses the exact same wireless network name, exact same wireless security and exact same password as the Belgacom wireless router. Make sure that the DIR-635 is configured in Bridge Mode.
Can I purchase and set-up an Apple Airport Express or Apple Airport Extreme on my level 1 (the ethernet cable running from level 2 to level 1 could plug-into either of those)
The AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme would need to be configured exactly the same way as mentioned above.
(What is the difference in the 2 -- one is about twice the price of the other…)

I have iPhoto, iOS, etc. all up to date.... however my iPad, iPhone, and Mac PhotoStreams all contain different pictures and aren't the same. Any ideas why? I'd rather not reset the whole thing if I don't have too.
OK, restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It's possible one or more is corrupt. To restart in Safe Mode when you hear the start up tone hold down the Shift Key until you see a progress bar. Let it fully boot then restart normally and test.
Also I am assuming you have checked Finder - Preferences - General and see what boxes are checked in "Show these items on desktop." You can also mount an item in Disk Utility, simply highlight it and then look in the File menu for Mount..... -
