Why did my screen shrink?

I have a macbook Air 0S X and my screen has suddenly shrunk as well as all the fonts. I have tried changing the font on View in Finder which increases the font size of the icons on the desk top but not on the tool bar and obviously it doesnt increase the screen size.

Move the mouse pointer to the right bottom corner of the window. When the pointer turns into a double arrow,
drag it outward to enlarge the window to the size you want.

We can't answer that. Maybe the battery is bad and is swelling inside the phone. Maybe someone else dropped it and didn't tell you about it.
Make an appointment at the genius bar and see what they say.
If it's over a year old, then it's not covered under warranty.

None of us knows why your screen turned black - it's the most serious form of crash, and yes, almost all the changes that you didn't save are lost.
An exception are the audio recordings - they should still sit in the project package of your song. Locate the project in the Finder, ctrl-click it and select "Show package content". The Media folder will contain all your recordings.

Why did my screen turn white

I replaced a cracked screen on my ipod touch 4gen following some very good videos on youtube. When I tested it before applying the adhesive, the screen came on for a second then turned white and then went blank. Now It wont come on at all. Is it a defective screen, or did I do something wrong? (tthe screen is slightly scratched on the back side)

Thank you for helping me. I dont think I can replace this wire. it comes out of the screen and clips in to the back part of the ipod. I will see if my grandma can send it back and get a new one. I dont know how to give you points for helping me but thank you. At least I know what to watch for next time.

Let the battery fullu drain. After charging for at least an hour try a reset and restore.

Why did my screen go black while my phone is on?

i downloaded a Disney app from the app store. After the app downloaded I closed all running apps and when I went to open the new Minnie Mouse Puzzle App (free) my screen went black. At first I initially thought my battery died. I plugged my phone in and it vibrated to let me know it was plugged in. I then tried to shut the phone down by powering off. No luck. Then I asked Siri to power off the phone, her reply was Sorry I cannot do that. I cant turn off my phone or do anhything else. Siri keeps telling me "not at this time" so she is also unavaible to do much. What is wrong with my phone?

To force-power off, hold the home button and lock button down at the same time for 8 seconds until it restarts -- you'll see an Apple logo. My guess would be that the app wasn't "compatible" with iOS 7 but it was downloadable on iOS 7. Did you see the Details section to see if they said "iOS 7 support coming soon?"

Plug your device into the original charger & block in a wall outlet and leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then, while it is still plugged in, restart it by holding down the home button and the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple, then let go.

Why did my screen size just default to 800 x 600?

Last evening I ran 'Check For Updates' and after a Adobe Reader update my screen reverted to 800 by 600. I don't write down what settings I use, I simply have been using whatever is comfortable. Now I cannot find it. I may have caused the default setting through an erroneous keystroke, but I'm not sure. How do I find the settings that I had say 24 or 36 hours ago and revert back to that screen size?

Go into your system preferences and click on displays then make sure 1,920 x1,200 is selected.

Close all apps and reboot your iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Why was my screen fading to white?

So I got my MacBook two years ago. After about a year, my screen started slowly fading to white and acted slow out of nowhere. The recent times I used it, my screen no longer turned white but it was still so slow. I went ot the Genius Bar recently (which is absolutely great!) and the one who helped me said that I had an anti-virus program, Symnatec that slowed down my programs because it checked if there was a virus in everything I did. He deleted the app for me and he suggested I upgraded to Mac OS X Mountain Lion but my RAM was at the bare minimum of 2GB. So I went to a computer place in the city where they could add more. I upgraded to a 3GB RAM and upgraded to Mac OS X Mountain Lion. My quesstion is, why did my screen fade to white but then stop out of nowhere? Will it happen again? Please let me know ASAP! Thank you!

Why did iso7.1.1 change the ability to see your apps when you use four fingers to partly close the app your in. In 7.1 you could use four fingers to partly close a app and see all the apps on that home screen. I used this all the time to check the date

Why did ISO 7.1.1 change the feature where you could use four fingers to close an app and see if he other apps on your home screen as you were closing an app. This was the handiest feature I thought because I could partially close the app I was working in and see the date or other things on my home screen and then released the four finger position and be right back to the app I'm working in. Please change this in the next update back to the way it was!!!!!

Why did my iPad Mini screen start glitching out of no where?! Hard reset did not fix issue... Which I could barely see the display at it was.. Please help..

Has the unit EVER been jailbroke? Has it EVER been dropped? Did it EVER get excessively wet? Did you EVER load a pirated developer's version of the IOS?
If "No" to all the above, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.
