Why did my sound stop working?

so i was trying to watch stuff on both youtube and putlocker but the sound will randomly stop working on both i know this happens with the internal speakers not sure if it happens with headphones though. i have a macbook pro i think it's a 13 inch with os x lion. anyone know why this would be happening? Thanks.

System Preferences > Other > Flash Player > Advanced > Updates > "Check Now"
Follow the prompts.
Relaunch Safari.

Why does my sound stop working when listening to music or watching videos? I have to cut my phone off and then back on for it to start working again. Its happening more and more often.

i'm sorry you're having issue swith the sound on your device chawntae. I know this is frustrating but we are here to help. What phone do you have? Are you using a headset, bluetooth, or just the speakers? Is there any damage to your phone?

Why Did Background Eraser Stop Working?      CS6

Why might the Background Eraser tool have stopped working?
The settings I am currently using are Sampling: Once; Limits: Discontiguous; Tolerance: 100%; Protect Foreground Color: checked.
I wanted to remove a head and shoulders photo portrait from a background, and to do so, I generally followed the instructions on a YouTube video tutorial by Ali Baba entitled How to Remove Background Around Lots of Hair Photoshop;
which showed to use the eraser tool.
My background was an off white color, with a shadow from the subject on some of it.      I made a layer on top of the photo and filled it with red (instead of the dark blue in the video, so it would contrast more with the black hair of my subject); then I copied the photo into a layer and put it on top of the red (unlike the video where he erased off the original.) Then I erased away the background.    Then I took the steps shown to work around the hair.       At that time, the background was still not closely erased around the ears and shoulders and I put the job away for a while.
When I came back, I used the Quick Selection to select the area from the entire right side that wasn't erased yet.   But I didn't know how to erase the selection, so I went back to the Background eraser and erased the rest of the right side away. Then I deleted the selection.
For some reason, however, I am not able to erase any more on the left side, and I am stymied as to why not.

I think I found a solution.   I just did on the left side what I had done on the right.   I made a Quick Selection, and then for some reason, I was able to erase in that area.   Then I removed the quick selection.
I don't how or why it worked, but I think it did.

Did anyone sound stop working on the iphone5s?

The sound on my phone just stop working for some reason it stop for like 2 min and after that i can hear everything again dose it happen to you guys? Should i take it to the apple store? Thanks.

I grasp that you have lost the sound. You have tried removing rebooting and adding the driver back but it will not install the driver you downloaded from the HP website.
If you simply removed the driver and did not delete the driver when you restarted it would automatically reinstall the latest driver in the system which happens to be the one you are trying to reinstall.
There has been an update that has caused some difficulties with the audio . Please follow this link to help resolve your difficulty. No Sound from Speakers (Windows 8)

Why did my iphone stop working?

Yesterday, my iPhone ceased to work. It is fully charged. My AT&T bill is paid in full. It can't be turned on via the on-off bar on top. It was working fine and i did not have any problems with it historically. It just stopped working. Any ideas or do I need to take into Apple? Please help.

Why did my keyboard stop working?

Every time I log into my Mac book Pro all of a sudden it asks me something about Bluetooth keyboard. I do not have one nor do I want one.
I was able to log in and use Quicken on Windows Parallel but could not type anything using Firefox and its Yahoo screen.
Now today, I cannot even sign in. No keystrokes take at all. I am wondering if I hit some keys and turned the keyboard function off
Or if it has something to do with the Bluetooth Keyboard question that kept showing upon logging in.
Please help me. My husband used to do all this but he passed away and I am lost.

It sounds like your keyboard has stopped working. You would have to take the machine to an Apple Store or another authorized service provider to be fixed.
There's a slight chance you might be able to get it working by following the instructions in both of these support articles:

My computer is an HP Touchsmart 25" with Windows 7 64 Bit. The speakers just stopped working.Tried going through the HP sound troubleshooting procedure with no success.

First thing to check is that your drivers for the sound card didn't go corrupt. Go into device manager under sound and make sure the driver says that is operating normally. you can also delete that driver and then completely shut down and then restart to let the system replace the driver. Last, right click on driver update and see if there is a newer driver and that usually will fix the problem.

Close all apps and reboot your iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Since keyboard clicks shows as on I would first try closing all open applications and power cycling the device. If the issue persists, check to make sure that the vibrate switch is not engaged as it can cause the key clicks to be mute.

Why did tethered capture stopped working on laptop with windows 8

It had been working great but something happened between December 2013 and March 2014 and now it does not work on my laptop which is running windows 8. If I plug into the desktop everything works fine. I suspect there was an update that is not working right. Any ideas?

OK - so today I bring the camera and tripod back to the PC today, and hey presto - is all starts working again.
The PC had not even been restarted since it wasn't working yesterday.
Anyone got any ideas why it might not have been working yesterday?

Why did my ethernet stop working on 2008 Aluminum MacBook after upgrading to Mavericks?

At home (using an AirPort Extreme) my ethernet works, but anywhere else I go it will not recognize. I have tried manually setting the IP and removing, adding the ethernet connection. No matter what I do it still says "Not Connected" it states that either the cable is unplugged (which it isn't) or the connected device isn't responding. I am assuming it is a driver/firmware issue in Mavericks that doesn't support the DHCP discovery. Can someone please shed some light on the situation?

I already did that and still nothing. My 2012 Retina MacBook Pro running Mavericks works fine, so I am confused as to what is causing this on the 2008 MacBook.
