Why did PP 26-2009 not generate a Month End Accrual?

Our pay period 26 2009 covered 12/4/09 - 12/17/09. We posted this pay period on 12/23/09. There was not an accrual in the posting. Our Pay Period 01-2010 covers 12/1809 - 12/31/09. We posted pp 01 2010 on 01/07/2010 and no month end accrual.
In the IMG these are the dates that pertain to Triggering Month End Accruals:
Posting date - 12/31/2009
Closing Date - 01/04/2010
Set Latest Document Creation Date - 12/24/09
Experts: why were there no accruals in our PP 26 2009 posting?

Accruals is triggered if period is a regular period and is the last regular pay period. For further understanding go can simulated the payroll for one employee and see a break point in Accruals function.
You can go to PE04 and enter "UACGF" and read the source code. Specifically the Function "AC_EVALUATE_APER" and " GET_LDCD". This will be where the decisions made.

That is frustrating. You are right. The new Photos.app is not yet a sufficient substitute iPhoto.
And there was no clear warning with the upgrade to iOS that iPhoto would no longer work. Only after upgrading to iOS 8 could we find out, that iPhoto was gone.
In your case it may be too late now to downgrade back to iOS 7. It was possible right after the release of iOS 8, but by now Apple stopped signing the firmware, so you will find no trustworthy installers.
I think the best route is to send feedback to the developers, so the next Photos releases will bring back more of the advanced, missing iPhoto features. Apple brought already the Camera Roll back to Photos.

Have you found a solution yet? I don’t know if I will be of any help but I was curious and no one else has chimed in yet.
I don’t quite understand all of your statement.
To clarify, you were making SimpleSave backups from Win95 and cannot see them all on the Win7 laptop?
Or
You were copying files over (SimpleSave utility not used) and you cannot see those files on Win7 but you can on the Win95 machine?
Do you have another Win7 machine you could connect the external to, to see if the files are still not showing (one that is not locked for work)?
On the drive that shows full, can you see it in Disk Management showing the correct size of the drive and also another CD drive? Not your real CD/DVD drive, it’s actually a CD emulator that is attached to the HDD for encrypting the backups and all SimpleSave’s have them.
Lastly, did you reformat the SimpleSave drive to Fat32 first?
My understanding is that USB support was quite limited on Win95 machines. Since Win95 is Fat32 and the SimpleSave drive is by default NTFS, I would think it would not work.

No Mac comes with a DVD or USB for Lion, everything is done online now. For those who absolutely must have a USB you can buy Lion on a USB drive for $70 or thereabouts.

Why did my index.htm file generate blank? and other weirdness.

Here's the story. Maybe someone can tell me where I made my mistake, or what happened. I'm numbering the steps for convenience in discussing this.
1) I started a new project, a WebHelp project.
2) I imported content in Word.
3) I created an index, glossary, and TOC. I used wizards for some of this.
4) I created a style sheet and applied it to all the topics.
5) I added a skin from the gallery.
6) I generated output.
Then I sent that output to the UI developer on my project. He plugged it in to the web app, and it seemed to work fine. So then:
7) I opened the project, edited the text, and removed glossary links (because I didn't like how they were working) individually.
8) I generated a new TOC to match the changed topic structure (minor changes).
9) I generated another output.
I sent that output to the UI developer and he said it was blank. I opened index.htm and sure enough, it was indeed blank. In fact, it was Zero KB. I also noticed that four other files were blank: whfform.htm, whform.js, whskin_plist.htm, and whtbar.js.
So then I decided to start over. I created a new project, imported just the html topic files from the old project, redid the index (in a hasty and less thorough manner), decided to bail on the glossary for now, did a TOC and sent that to the developer.
Now the Search pane is totally wonky, showing a list of characters and terms.
So I am getting frustrated. The developer has tried monkeying around with stuff on his end, but it's not working. So he says, why don't you send me a build with everything?
The problem is, I have two broken builds. The first one, which for whatever reason has the blank index.htm file (and other blank files), and the second one, which has no glossary, a messy index, and a screwed up search.
I can't seem to find anyone else having this problem. :-/ Can someone help?

I am having the exact same problem, and I think I've figured out what is happening here. There is an issue when mapping Word styles into RH. The person who setup our Word template included a sidehead with conditional text to hide instructor notes when printing participant training manuals. I removed the conditional text, and everything is working fine. You may want to double check to make sure you don't have conditional text in your Word docs. I've uploaded an image with the code below to show how the conditional text looked when the document was linked and generated.

Why did I upgrade QuickTime not knowing this?

This question has been asked before, but it has never been answered. I have an older version of iMovie (pre-iLife) and did not realize that if I upgraded to the latest QuickTime that I could not use iMovie.
I was working on a professional project, and now I can no longer do anything with it. iMovie keeps crashing, and I know of no other upgrade that will help fix this problem. It is really testing my patience with the software developers here, especially since as a start-up home business I cannot afford to purchase iLife.
Since my software update has not given me an upgrade for my version of iMovie, I don't know how to resolve this issue. Ironically, any movie I have made subsequent to the QuickTime upgrade work just fine. I don't have the time to start over again with the other project, though and I will lose my first client as a result of this problem.
Any technical help will be greatly appreciated, especially since this is a crucial problem.

Which version of QuickTime do you have now? I am assuming it is the latest.
If you have QuickTime 7-try this reinstall. With OS 10.3.9 and iMovie 4, you need to use QuickTime 6.5.2 for the best results IMPO.

Because Office 2004 is a PPC-only suite and will not work with Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011 for OS X. Or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, whose functionality is similar to Office 2007 for Windows.

Why did my iPad Air not finish the restore?

I had to restore my iPad Air to get it recognized on my PC running Windows 8. It erased everything so I had to reset the iPad to factory settings to get it to restore from the iCloud. Everything restored except Newstand, Facebook, and AOL, The staus for the apps for AOL and Facebook says waiting. For newstand there is no indifcation of the status. Please advise. Thank you.

When you restore from back up, the process will restore the OS and some initial data, it will then restart and allow you to use your device while the remaining data is downloaded and restored in the background.
