Is there an app to protect my iPad when I am online with sensitive information?

I located some suggestions for flushing the cache.
There are really three ways you can flush the DNS cache on your iPad.
1) Simply turn the iPad off and on again using the power button. A simple reboot will go a long way.
2) Turning on Airplane mode and then turning it off again will also clear the DNS cache and should be enough to fix the problem. Tap on your Settings icon, then swipe Airplane mode to On and then back off. Since Airplane mode disables the wireless features of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to comply with airline regulations, this will generally do the trick.
The third method would reset all your network settings and I'm pretty sure you don't want to do that right now.

The problem is that the Add-ons Manager tab when opened the first time, is on "Get Add-ons" section and that must be downloaded from the Add-ons server which might be overburdened.

OK....First,you are right, OS 5 has the 11 page limit....you must create folders of Apps until you get below 11 pages of combined folders and apps...NOTE.....the upgrade to OS 5 killed all of my old folders and folder organizations...this may be an issue for all????.....I have over 300 apps so when the old folders went away...I was left with 20 plus pages....only 11 visible....It took me awhile to find out what happened....Since I have 64G it seems that 11 visible pages is a silly limit since the apps are on the machine...

I have an iPod touch. I have my own apple ID and icloud account. Why does the name change to my dad's name when I use his credit card for downloads? Is there a way I can have my own account and use my dad's card without having his name on my photostream and icloud?
I went on icloud.com and changed my name but it changes the credit card name to mine as well so I can't get apps unless its under his name, but it confuses everyone i share photo streams with, as there are two of my dads?
My aunt is having the same problem with her photostream, so I know its not only me.

I have this problem and it's annoying. Plenty of people in this world do not pay for their own stuff!. So i have 5 kids. All there accounts show as my name when people add them for Photo streams etc etc. This is ridiculous. Why not seperate billing address / credit card details to the name of the person on the account? Why do they have to be the same?

Why did the trace NOT show the other switches in between?

I have a PC that is connected to a switch (A) in a network. Switch A has many switches in between and connects to another switch B. When I did a trace to the server, the last switch I see in the result is switch B. Also, when I checked to which port of switch B that the server was connected, It showed as Po1. When I did a show cdp neighbor for the interfaces for the interfaces involved inthe bundle, I get a switch and then another. Why did the trace NOT show the other switches in between? Why did I get an arp on Switch B? Could some one explain?

It's hard to tell, but if you have L2 switches, the addresses on those L2 switches are for management purposes only and you won't see a response from a trace. The only time you'll see a response is when the packet is routed between devices and not switched. You'll get an arp request/response across a single vlan. If you have vlan 10 across 10 switches, all 10 switches will see an arp request because they're broadcasted throughout the whole vlan.

Apple is no longer supporting YouTube with a native application starting with iOS 6.0. The "old" YouTube application was automatically removed when you upgraded, and it no longer exists in the new iOS. There are however, numerous third-party apps in the App Store which will allow you to view YouTube, including one from Google, which is the parent company for YouTube. Passbook is a new application to iOS 6.0 and is not at all related to YouTube.

Why does every EE customer service agent I speak to give me different info?!!

I have spoken to 3 different customer service agents today regarding one particular topic and every one of them gave me a different answer to my question!! Do these people not get any training? They must make up the answers!! I was 2 months behind on my bill but settled the balance today. I then wanted to upgrade my phone. I was told it takes "at least 72 hours for the systems to reset" and to try for an upgrade on Saturday instead. I then contacted EE to discuss something else (same day) but mentioned the upgrade thing while I was on. I was told this time that it takes "up to 24 hours" to reset and to try again later that day or tomorrow. Confused, I contacted EE again (same day). This time I was told it takes "up to 72 hours at the most" and that it'd be Friday at the latest that I could upgrade. WHEN CAN I UPGRADE?!!

If you are/were behind with your bill you may not be able to upgrade and the CS reps I would suspect telling you when your payment/account will be clear up to 72 hours after the account to paid.
If you text up to 150 you will receive a text telling you about your upgrade if due.

First is your volume turned up and not muted?
Also check system preferences/sound/sound effects, make sure play sound effects thru internal speakers is checked, make sure alert volume is turned up (not all the way down), Play user sound effects id checked.

The battery has a cycle count of 101 and is listed in good condition and @ 2 years old. The 'genius' said it was 'normal' and NOT defective. And was probably because I left it plugged in most of the time.
I remined him how the lithium ion battery and its associated charging system are supposed to be very sophisticated and are reported to not overcharge the battery and to extend its life. I also cited where I had read that the swelling usually occurrs when a battery does not ventilate properly,
I asked him why the five other Apple laptops I owned for years never had that 'normal' condition.
I pretty much got the dumb deer-in-the headlights stare.
