Why did they take out the add all songs option with IOS7

I can not read the minds of the Adobe engineers or Marketing people. Nesting a sequence is not much more trouble than applying an effect.
If you are creating a PIP, then a nested sequence is probably your solution. If you are not nesting, scale and crop, then put a white matte under it.
This is not a great place for asking questions that have no answers outside of internal Adobe decisions. This is, however, a great place to get workarounds.

Seriously - what could they have possibly been thinking? Mozilla, please tell us this was some kind of mistake. Accessing our bookmarks in FF-mobile is just plain bad as a user experience. And now without "Open In New Tab" we are supposed to drill down to our bookmarks for every tab we want to open? FF-mobile is almost useless without "Open In New Tab". Please restore "Open In New Tab" for bookmarks, thanks.

Why did iTunes take out the category, "AIFF or mp3 encoder" on their latest version?

I make CDs for use in my carr so it is valuable to me to know which version of a song is on iTunes: either AIFF, or mp3. The previous versions offered these specs for a category as a column listing in the library but the latest version doesn't; if you don't remember where you last had it set you have to check in prefs., then hit "import settings" which is annoying when you're compiling for a CD.
Why did they take that category out (under "view options") or am I wrong and you can tell me where I can find it?

Sorry you felt offended by my post. That was not my intent and I never suggested you were stupid.
Your post was a bit confusing because you were describing unrelated things.
I was simply trying to explain a few things to help you out. Seems it did not work.

Please check out exactly the directions I wrote about "import settings". I believe you will find the active button, "import settings" next to "ask to import CD" which is next to the words "when you import a CD:" under the heading, "General" in the pull-down menu, Preferences.
Yes, I understand what the Import Settings are and how to change them.
However, Import Settings has nothing to do with burning a CD or selecting file types for adding to a playlist.
Since it is not needed for making a playlist or burning a CD, I don't understand why it would "annoying".
If you are burning a data or MP3 CD and only want specific file types, then you need to know what format of the files you add to a playlist are but that still has no relevance to what your current Import Settings are.
And no, iTunes will NOT "convert the file as needed" if you want one song in both formats.
If you are burning an audio CD, the result is one format. Audio CD.
That is why I wrote, "If you are burning an audio CD the format is irrelevant", because iTunes will convert AIFF, WAV, MP3, AAC & Apple Lossless to audio CD format.
Next time read the question thoroughly, make sure you do have the right version, and test what the the person is saying

Why did they take away the playlist feature for movies and tv shows?

The subject line pretty much sums it up but does anyone know why they took it away? It was seriously the greatest thing ever with my kid's tv shows. I could just turn on the playlist and they could watch a few episodes back to back without having to mess with the remote.

I don't think they have.
A recent software update may have reset your Settings which by default is playlists only for music.
Check AppleTV Setting menus and enable playlists for all not just music.
Let me know if you can't find the setting in the menu.

Backing out of "Add All songs" to playlist

I accidentally hit the "Add All songs" when editing a playlist- the next button is "Done" - but I don't want to add 3000 songs - how can I back out of this choice?

I am having the same problem, "Error formatting disk iPod. Disk cannot be written to or copied from."
The guy at the apple store said the iPod is totally fine, that it's my computer. Getting nowhere with my laptop manufacturer - he tells me to do to the apple store.
I was told the best bet is to make sure my music files are backed up on my hard drive, then uninstall and then reinstall iTunes.

Why did they stop selling the iPad 3?

How come they made it thicker and heaver and then just stopped making it and brang out the exact same thing that is still thicker and heavier but just added the lightning connector and A6x?
I think that was pretty pointless.
Does any one know why this happened? if you do or have a diffrent point of view to me post a reply.

You think a faster processor for the same cost is pointless? Ok.
Companies are constantly improving their products, releasing better models and ceasing production of older models.
It would be pretty pointless releasing an improved model, and then continuing to make and sell an older, worse model. Who would want the older, slower model?
Next week, it's highly likely there will be even newer iPads and the current models will cease to be made and sold.

Am I still able to access the quick Facebook posting option with ios7?

I just updated my phone to ios7. Before with the ios6.1.3 I was able to swipe down to the notification menu and access a quick way to post on facebook. Am I still able to do that with ios7?

Garageband used to have chord view on the display, why did they take it out?

i got garageband 10.0.1 and i miss being able to see the chord names as i play them on my midi controller...shocked and bummed. i don't get it.

léonie, that is not quite correct. Although there is one Tuner Button in the Control Bar and it seems as simple as clicking the button to open the Tuner window, there is a little bit more to it.
First of all, each Input Channel on your selected Audio Device has it's own Tuner Window.
For example,
If you select an Audio Track (Vocals 1) that has Input 1 of the Audio Device selected, then the Tuner window (that opens when that Track is selected) has the name "Input 1" in the Window Title. It tells you that you are tuning the audio singal on Input Channel 1.
If you select another Audio Track (Vocals 2) that has Input 2 of the Audio Device selected, then a second Tuner window will open (in case you haven't close the first one), and that one has "Input 2" in the window title, to indicate that this one "listens" to Input Channel 2 of your Audio Device.
BTW, the Tuner works on any Audio Track, regardless if they are created with the microphone icon or the guitar icon in the New Tracks Dialog.
You cannot display any MIDI note that you play on a MIDI Track. Maybe the Software Instrument played through your speaker and that was picked up by a microphone on the Track that had a Tuner Window open.

Yeah, Apple is distancing themselves from Google (you may have noticed the maps app in iOS 6 is now an Apple product, no longer Google). But Google does have their own YouTube app available in the app store, which you can download for free. Don't think there's any reason to trash your phone.

FF4: Why did you take off the embedded '+' button next to the tabs ?

Now the this item is part of the "new tab" option. So you can choose either have it next to the tabs, OR, as a button on the toolbar. In all previous versions I had the new tab button in my toolbar, and also, the embedded + button next to the tabs. So i could add a new tab either way.

Yeah, I know that. But the thing is, in previous versions, the + icon was part of the GUI.
Now the + icon is, in fact, the "new tab" button.
So you have to choose between 2 options, or have it as the + button in the tabs bar, or having it as a normal button in the toolbar.
I don't understand why they modified this. Or at least, have the "new tab" button available even when you have the + button next to the tabs.

Did they take away the spacebar hand tool shortcut in CS4?

using illustrator CS4 on mac os x leopard. When I hold down spacebar, nothing happens. shut down the program, re-open it.... it's stuck on the Pointer. I checked google to see if anyone else had the problem as well as the preferences, I couldn't find anything.
Anyone having this problem?
EDIT: They also did something with Alt/Option + Drag. I use this all the time. it doesn't work!! what's going on???

I've had this problem before as well. After trying to duplicate it though I was unable to blame it on any one thing for certain. I usually run my mac with many open programs and Entourage is one of them for my email so that's the only "microsoft" product I had open. Do you still have ai Ver10 on your machine? I can't say for certain but it has now happened twice and the only commonality was that I had to open a file (old one for art pickups) in ver 10. After opening the file and saving etc I went into CS3 CS2 CS and my spacebar was not working as you describe. I closed all apps and restarted CS3 and it came back. I didn't find deleting the prefs made any difference and I even applejacked my machine but again, no difference.
I would like to hear from others that have experienced this strange issue and what they've been able to find out.

If you are referring to full screen, it's still there in Mountain Lion. Go to the View menu and choose Enter Full Screen.
