Why didn't my Muse update to MuseCC?

In my Creative Cloud Apps it show that Muse is up to date to Muse CC. I can't find a Muse CC in my applications folder like I did with Indesign CC, Photoshop CC etc. Why didn't my Muse update to MuseCC?

Why didn't Firefox warn me that it would disable an incompatible add-on prior to silently updating itself?

I just restarted Firefox and a window popped up saying that it had upgraded itself and that it was checking for compatibility with my add-ons. Unfortunately, one of them, which I rely on quite extensively, apparently is not compatible with FIrefox 22.0.
So now I'm stuck. While I'm hopeful that this will resolve itself, I decided to make sure that it won't happen again. I checked my preferences and found that Firefox was set to automatically install updates and to warn me if this would disable any of my add-ons.
So, here is my question: Why didn't it warn me that this would disable an add-on?
I am running (now) Firefox 22.0 on a Mac running 10.7.5.

I have no idea why you did not get a warning. It may be possible to enable the add-on. Click add-ons then extensions this will display all add-ons installed on your firefox. Is there a enable option? If not consider removing add-on and reinstalling it. Hope this helps let me know if it does.

Because it's considered an upgrade and must be downloaded through the Mac App Store.

Can you give us some more info? Were you upgrading to a newer version of iOS? Did you backup your iPhone before upgrading? Did any other info disappear during the upgrade? Which system are you running, and which iPhone model are you using?
Are you using iCloud to sync contacts? If so, check Settings > iCloud to make sure you're logged in and Contacts are enabled.

I have been updating my PSE since 10. Recently I purchased PSE13 as I didn't see an update for my 12. I was changing to a new laptop as my old laptop had been patched and worked and was showing signs of giving out. It was a Window's 7OS. My new one is a Windows 8 OS so I bought the 13 and downloaded it on the new laptop. Our desktop had died so I downloaded the 13 on the new desk computer also. Not thinking I downloaded 13 on my old laptop as I hope to get it patched up enough to be a backup for my photography. When I tried to activate it I realized that I had downloaded it too often. I didn't know you could only use it on two computers. Learn something new every day.. Any way I removed it and now my PSE 12 does not seem to be working. Now it could be something that I did or something that is an issue with the laptop. this laptop has all the previous editions on board as I always tried to update, except for the year I got a really good deal on Black Friday. I also notice that the new laptop has a copy of PSE 12 in the program list. To my knowledge I have never deactivated any of my PSE's except the extra 13 downloaded. Bottom line, do I need to go in and deactivate previous PSE versions and removed them from my computer? I could certainly use the space and secondly, can I deactivate the PSE 12 and then go back and reacitivate it and install it again on the old laptop or the desktop, whichever I deside would be the most appropriate place for the newer program. For the PSE 12 since it is an updater for 11, does the 11 still need to be on the laptop? thanks for anyone who can understand what I am trying to say and can advise me as to my next move. Stolen iphone - why didn't it notifiy me when it connected to the internet?

I have a couple of questions. First, my son's iphone was stolen a few weeks ago. Within an hour it was noticed and we put it in lost mode. It was no where to be found. We left it on our sprint account, hoping that when it got turned on, it would be locked when it connected to the internet. Last night, evidently it connected because it was no longer activated, and it had my number on the lock screen. Someone, claming they bought it from someone else, said they had my number and they called me. I got it back, and I am ridiculously lucky.
But not really happy with apple.
On my phone, I had my son's icloud email added. CS said that as soon as it gets connected to the internet, I'd get an email notifying me where it was. No such thing happened. In fact, when I went to get the phone out of lost mode, it was deactivated, and location settings were turned off. I got a very unhelpful email that the phone was found, which I was aware of since it was in my hand. Where was that email?
My other question is that the person who gave it to me insisted that they could have wiped it, even with it in lost mode, and she was being super honest and wanted credit for her honesty - which I'm not a theif and I didn't see anyone giving me credit for not stealing anything I see not bolted down. That was particularly annoying, though I remained gracious and thanked her profusely.
Is that really possible? This was the latest update of 7.1.1 . And why didn't we get notified of where it was? I think she thought we could find her, which is why I think she gave it back. Othewise, it might just be lost forever. I'm fairly certain that the person who stole it thought we'd give up and get it off our account, and the internet would never connect to notify us of where it was. Glad I was patient.
So educate me - how is this REALLY supposed to work?
It also was a beast to restore. It forever couldn't connect to the servers through my wifi in my house. I finally gave up and in the morning it did what it was supposed to. It truly was a nightmare, not even counting the whole stress of the phone being stolen in the first place. I wondered if it was possible that there was any kind of a virus put on it (I know, I know - apple is supposed to be virus free) or perhaps it might have been cloned. It was exceptionally frustrating that the phone wasn't working properly. When we updated it, it had wiped itself and we had to start from scratch (6 weeks ago) and it behaved much the same last night.

If you did not disable access to control center from the lockscreen, then it is trivially easy to put it in airplane mode in an attempt to prevent it from being wiped or locked.
If Find my iPhone is active, which it apparently was, there is no way the phone could be wiped and used without the password for your Apple ID. It can be wiped, but it can't be activated or used after that. It's a brick without your credentials.
I'm not a trusting person, I would tend to believe that the person who gave you your phone back was a disgruntled thief who realized they had more chance of getting you to cough up a reward than they did of being able to use the phone, or, at best, someone who knowingly purchased a stolen phone from someone and discovered the same thing.
I would have called the police.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

Muse Update also updated Air but not to the newest

A couple of days ago I updated Muse and at the same time (orchestrated by Muse) updated Adobe Air. According to my "About" menu in Muse I now have Air 13.0.0.83. But my Glary Utilities Software Update check at boot keeps telling me that there's an update available to Air 13.0.0.111. Muse didn't ask for this, should I just go ahead and update Air again? Do I need this? I'm no software whiz and I don't want to mess with my MUSE

It is advisable to use the latest version of adobe air with Muse. You can download the latest Air from https://get.adobe.com/air/

I'm happy to tell you that the former problem with the error message "Please connect to the internet…" when trying to start Muse is solved now by the latest update. At that time I talked to James Boag, he assumed Muse might not recognize my USB-modem (and I should try a different access point, which I didn't) but this is not an issue any more. When I launched Muse recently, it updated automatically and then started with no problems.

I’m afraid I cannot really help you.
I did not make any changes on my running system except that I’m on 10.8 Mountain Lion (upgraded from 10.6.8., no Lion in between), but this did not change the behavior of Muse at first. Only the update, which started automatically when I launched the app on August, 21, (still the trial version) caused the difference.
My firewall is on and in the firewall-options Muse has allowance for incoming connections, see the attached screenshot (sorry, in german, but you will understand the meaning). Airport is not active and I did not change my way to connect to the internet (as James Boag from Adobe suggested earlier, see also attached mailing). It just worked.
Meanwhile I upgraded to the official version (2.0.945) and still it works.
Hope you find a solution.

This is still happening for me. I downloaded the beta yesterday and am on 10.7. I run software update but Muse is not showing up as having an update. My firewall is not running. Any suggestions on how I can get this running would be much appreciated.

Muse Updates

Have been using Muse on a Mac running OS 10.6, 10.8, and now 10.9 for a year.
Why is it that Muse seems to be the only Adobe CC application where Creative Cloud fails to recognize the availability of new updates? Muse always shows as "up to date" in the CC apps menu even when it isn't. I am only able to recognise and update to new releases from within the Muse program, itself.
Not a serious problem but I have always been curious why it does not behave like other CC apps.

Most likely because of Muse being built on top of Adobe Air instead of a native app like the rest of them. I believe that will be changed soon.
