Why do calls keep dropping?

My calls have started routinely dropping during the conversation. The phone rings okay but calls just keep dropping.

Thanks for the zip code information! Service should be great at that location, although service indoors can always be tricky due to uncontrollable items like building material. I'm glad you are getting such great service outdoors! This tells me there is not trouble with your phone. Let's check into any other availble options to improve your experience. Which make/model device are you using? Do you have highspeed internet at home?

are you using I movie? There is an output in i movie for you tube that i suppose turns it into whatever format they want. And how long is it? T think there is a 10 or 15 min limit on you tube for uploads. I am thinking that the format from your camera is not what you tune wants to see. If you can get it into i movie, and send it from there, it converts it into what they want. I think. (works for me)

I have an iPhone 5. T-Mobile. UK.
My calls just keep dropping out all the time. Every phone call people are asking me to repeat myself because of my calls dropping out. Its so annoyin.

Bluetooth is also not working properly, I can have a full cellular signal but unable to make calls sometimes. People cannot hear me properly sometimes and I cannot hear them, this is when I am using the phone normally or with Bluetooth in my car. 3G just doesn't work at all, if I turn it on and off then the cellular signal drops to one or two bars, then I get "No Service" too.
People keep telling me that they hae problems hearing me and that it is a bad line on just about every call...
This is a replacement phone too, my wife is also having the same problems...I can't carry on using the phone with these problems as it is used to business, it's not acceptable.
I've restore as a new phone, reset network settings reset to factory settings and have run out of patience. Seriously thinking of another phone or even going back to the 4S!

Why do I keep dropping frames?

I have some short clips that were taking on my iphone 4s (less then a minute) and when I'm trying to go through the clips to find what I want, I keep dropping a ton of frames, and get a warning that prehaps my disk is to slow? I've never had this happen ever before. Even when editing 1080P footage from my DSRL.
I can't seem to figure out what's going on. Plenty of RAM, using a quad core i7, it just seems to have started, and not sure why.

Go into FCP X preferences and under Playback, select Proxy - but when you Export, remember to go back and select 'Use Original or Optimised material.

could be the service provider and just in a bad area... if your phone is calling our id have to assume its not the phone. you could possibly need a new simcard depending on who your provider is also!

Any idea why my iPhone4 keeps dropping its wifi connection?

I have a new iPhone4 (an upgrade for my iPhone 3GS). It has been set up for the house's wifi and does connect. The annoying thing for me is that it seems to keep dropping out of wi fi. Sometimes it recognizes it within seconds of turning on my phone & other times I need to go into settings,shut off wifi, turn it on again and hope it recongnizes the wifi. I have no problem with my Apple computer, and no one else in the household has this difficulty, some Apple products, others not. I find this frustrating because I never had this problem with my older 3GS phone. I'm sorry I took the $0.99 upgrade to the iPhone 4. Should have left well enough alone!!! IPad dropping WiFi every few seconds after updating iOs to version 5.x
I have the same problem with my iPad 2. It was working fine when my iOS was v.4.3.3. After updating the iOs to version 5.0.1, I kept dropping my WiFi & Internet signal. I am using WPA2, and my SSID is OFF (does not broadcast).
To solve the problem, I updated iOs to v5.1. Same problem occurred. I tried using the OpenDNS as suggested.. Did not work too. WiFi stays on for 5-10 seconds before saying signal was lost. Tried to log on again - iPad replied that I cannot join the network. Tried soft & hard reset, forgetting network settings, resetting all network Setting, etc - still nothing works.
Finally, out of frustration, I turned ON my router's SSID (broadcasting openly). Guess what? My iPad WiFi is working perfectly without any dropped connection.
Please try this quick solution. It may just fix your problems. I realized that this solution may be effective for some iPad users out there. But there is a chance it may not work with others (I tried almost all suggestions in other forums - ranging from updating the wireless router firmware, using an OpenDNS, doing a soft & hard reset of the iPad, etc. Still, nothing worked for my iPad - except this simple SSID setting). Hopefully, this additional solution might help someone. Good luck :-)

Do a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion.
1. Download the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.
Some users might worry they will void their device warranty by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to worry about.

Skype calls keep dropping and Skype freezes?

I have good internet and every **bleep** minute or so when im in a call with my friends, skype freezes (but not like "not responding", i can click buttons, they just don't do anything) and the call is dropped for like 40 seconds and then it fixes itself again. it does this very often and im getting tired of it.
i've re installed skype, re installed java, installed an older version of skype and NOTHING works!!!
It's not my internet because while skype is frozen, i can be playing a game flawlessly, or googling things, something is wrong with my skype.
also my computer is really good (custom built gaming pc)

Same sort of thing is happening to me and has been happening for a while, except that it doesn't come back in 40 seconds. It's so annoying, and I'm convinced that skype is the biggest and most worthless piece of **bleep** program out there, I can't wait until there's a viable alternative. It will just stop mid call, as if the other person isn't talking, then it will become unresponsive. It's not like it's unresponsive and greyed out with Windows saying it can fix it, it just completely ignores everything. If I want to end the call, too bad. If I want to force quit the app, too bad. If I want to sign back on, too bad (it's already running). I have to restart my computer so many times throughout the day that it interferes with my work and I depend on Skype to connect my coworkers. It's so full of issues that I'm fed up. No updates or downgrades help me either, I've tried almost every one of the "good" ones.

Why does itunes keep dropping my devices and files

Everytime I set my iPods asides for a few weeks and then reconnect them to iTunes they will not sync. iTunes flushes all the content I've loaded from CD's <1,000 songs plus audio books. iTunes wants me to re-register and reload everything. This has appened three times in the last year. It happens on both my Windows and OS X machines. I have an iPod Touch and an iPod classic. ITunes refuses to allow me to keep both devices and computers in sync. Before I spend the two plus days to reload again I would like to know what the heck is going on.

Why? Sony Viao by any chance? That comes with some media scanning software which has a habit of interferring with iTunes when it save files, resulting in a corrupt or missing library. Anti-virus software may also possibly be a cause on occasion.

Why does icloud keep dropping notes

I've entered notes into the notes app to find days later that some are completely gone. Any suggestions or possible reasons why?

So why don't they just stay on Notes? It scared the heck outta me when they went poof!
Back them up yes, maybe transfer some but you'd always have them. Hmm just thinking.

Also.....I keep going between no bars of service to 2 or 3 back to no bars. And 3G to a "O" then back to 3G. Help please....cant keep Verizon on the phone long enough to do anything.

How recently did you switch? If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account. The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices. I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...
